This is a quaint two bedroom one bathroom cottage home with comfortable outdoor spacing including a huge front yard with pine trees. It is located in a secluded area with cattle and deer. It is very quiet with little traffic. The home is approximately 12miles from Loop 286 in Paris where you can visit: The Paris Eiffel Tower Paris Veteran's Memorial Beautiful Downtown with shops and boutiques Sundae in Paris Hole in the Wall Cafe and much more! If headed north, you are just minutes from Pat Mayse Lake, The Red River and crossing over into Oklahoma.
Please read this update: The driveway and parking area are currently shared while you are visiting with a young man that is long term renting the apartment in the back yard. He will use the parking on the left and you the parking on the right. There is plenty of driveway space available if you happen to have extra vehicles.
My kids loved the cows, the cat kept trying to come in but I'm sure my 11 year old picked the kitty up but he says he didn't. My 18 year old was upset with her brother cause she was coming out and for some reason the cow's ran away
Our stay in Powdery, TX at this beautiful little cottage was great! The place was clean, quiet, and full of cozy characteristics that made our stay so very enjoyable. The hosts were very attentive and quick to respond to any issue we messaged about. Thank you Chris and Faith!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as advertised and perfect for my family. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.
We are older and it was really nice to find there were recliners. There were not many steps to navigate and the walk in shower was nice.
We would liked to have had some lamps by the living room seating as we do lots of reading.i couldnât get the he oven to work but there was a convection oven provided with the microwave.
We would stay here again.
I found it so reassuring to walk in and find scripture all on the walls It was a quiet place for relaxation if Iâm ever in the area I will definitely try to stay again Thank you and Good Bless Yâall
Nice Clean place. Bedroom door was hard to close and the back door wouldnt stay shut to lock. Not a big deal as the inner door locked. Overall was a nice place.
My husband and I visited for the solar eclipse, which we were able to view from the large yard. The house is even nicer than shown in the photos, and the host is outstanding. They were so kind as to loan us a lawn chair when they learned weâd forgotten ours. Highly recommended.
The house is spacious and clean. We didnât get a chance to enjoy the yard because it was cold and windy but it looked like a nice place to relax outside. Well stocked kitchen. Bring your own shower essentials as they are not provided. There is a slight musty smell perhaps because the house was all closed up when not in use. Recommended!
I came down from Oklahoma to visit my mother who is in an assisted living facility in Paris Texas. This cozy house was perfect for us to have a visit and feel like we at home with a bedroom for each of us. The property is very quiet with a large outdoor area for my dog and I to go for walks while there. We will be staying here again.
We are just a regular family living a blessed life. This was my parents home for many years and wanted to offer the peaceful setting to those visiting our area.
