Located in the ocean-view Oahu Building, your roomy corner unit features sweeping views and is filled with thoughtful touches. Enjoy morning coffee and the sound of the waves on your breezy private lanai. Whip up beach snacks in the kitchenette - with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, blender, and coffee maker. Extras include AC, WiFi, cable TV, a DVD/Blue-ray Player, and beach towels.

Nothing fancy but a nice place to stay.

We have stayed at the Islander several times but at another location in the same building. If you don’t need a full kitchen and want fairly inexpensive accommodations next to the beach then this is perfect. The view from the 3rd story lanai is great and the grounds are kept in great shape. The pool is very nice if you prefer less salt in your day. It was being power washed the last two days we were there but thankfully our unit had dualpane windows and doors to minimize the noise. We usually buy some snacks and make pbj sandwiches. There are plenty of places to eat at the nearby coconut market. And the Lava Lava Beach club is right on the beach with great food. This place is centrally located on Kauai so it’s easy to go north or south. We will come back.

Great place to stay!

The location was perfect because we were not to far from north shore and east shore. There is a marketplace very close by and you can grab whatever you need, you dont need to drive it’s walking distance.

Paradide at the Islander

We have stayed at the Islander many times. This unit was very clean and welcoming. Great view, too. Comfortable bed, though the pillows were rather large for our tastes. The management was responsive and really liked the towel exchange, as we stayed 3 weeks. Would definitely stay in this unit again.

Great location

This property is on the beach (the unit a few minutes to walk to the beach/pool/bar), central to all locations Kauai, close to a wonderful shopping area full of restaurants, gift shops and groceries. The room itself is VERY basic, nothing fancy. The sliding door to the deck is a very hard to slide to open, but that was really the only down side!

After contacting the customer service # they called and gave me the code. The lock box was poor quality. The property and the room were clean. I would stay here again. Thank you.

There is a great market and a lot of restaurants nearby. It was the first time we booked anything through Vrbo and we are surprised that everything went smoothly. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely come back again. The only thing I would appreciate next time to be able to use the laundry room in the building.

Birthday getaway 9-2023

Overall this was a great place to stay especially if you are looking for reasonable place because you will be out on the island more than you will be in the condo. It worked perfectly for us. The coconut market is pricey, but you can walk to it within minutes. There is a little stip mall as well with a couple restaurants, coffee shop, tattoo shop and a kayak adventure tour. There is an italian restaurant there that has the best pasta. I highly recommend. lava lava next door is a cool atmosphere too. The little souvenier shops at coconut marcket are reasonable and the shaved ice is great as well. Because the AC wasn't working properly, we bought a box fan for 30 bucks at Walmart. Once the AC was fixed, the place stayed fairly comfortable. However, when you are getting yourself fixed up in the bathroom it gets hot, so I used the fan in there. I suggested they keep the fan for future guests to use. The beach chairs, umbrella and little cooler worked perfect the days on the beach and were super nice to have. The chairs have a little cooler pouch attached which was also convenient for sunglasses, small purse/wallet and keys. Hanalai beach South side is a perfect sandy, calm beach. Poi pu was a little rough but snorkling was nice, there is a little island you can snorkle to if you get there when the waves are calmer. Keoki Paradise on the North side was pricey but the atmospher was awesome. Pina colada served in a pinapple, yum yum. I also suggest the Kayak wailia tour with Kyle. This tour is through the jungle and over 6 miles total. 4 miles round trip kayaking and 2 miles round trip hiking to the falls. It's a moderate hike, over rocks, through the jungle, mud, river/stream, but super fun. We had such a great time and want to go back and will definitely recommend to family and friends. ALOHA

Belle hôtel avec piscine

Le petit condo est bien situé avec vue sur la piscine et la mer au 3e, dernier étage. C’est un coin donc assez tranquille et peu de bruit des voisins. Il manquait des batteries à un contrôle de DVD et une des 2 chaises de plage était brisée, j’ai envoyé un courriel à Vacasa mais aucun retour. Il n’y a pas de cuisinière, seulement un micro-onde pour la cuisson. Le frigo est petit et ne loge pas un contenant de crème glacée. Le reste est très bien et nous avons apprécié l’endroit. Il y a beaucoup de trafic vers le pont qui mène à Lihue, la capitale et il faut prévoir de l’attente.

Great place to stay

This was the perfect location that put us half way been north and south shores. Great shopping and food within walking distance. Great little bar on site. Balcony had the perfect view of sunrises. Loved this place.

We loved this property and would definitely stay there again! The location is great. You can watch the sunrise from your balcony or walk 2 minutes and literally have your toes in the sand. We had a couple of issues to start with that were quickly resolved by the management company.
