Welcome to your quiet oasis situated within a mile of the best attractions and entertainment that New Orleans has to offer! Surrounded by world-class breweries and restaurants on historic Tchoupitoulas Street, this 2 bed/2 bath home provides the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Enjoy this beautiful house before you head across the street for happy hour at Port Orleans, or just down the road for a tour in the French Quarter. Let the good times roll!
Stayed here with moms and teen daughters attending the Eras tour. It's right across the street from a brewery w/ a taco stand inside (delish!) and a short walk to several other quick restaurants (highly recommend the Italian sandwich shop). House is MUCH bigger in person than it looks online and well-decorated. Neighborhood is safe. Easy walk to Magazine Street as well. Host was very accommodating as well allowing us a later check-out.
This was a great little house and perfect for what we needed! I will make a couple of small recommendations to the owner about incidentals but overall amazing stay!!
The 2 bd 2 bath house was a great size for the 4 of us. The living room and kitchen was spacious as well. The house was clean and we felt safe. It was nice having a parking spot for our rental car. We enjoyed our location across the street from Port of Orleans and it was a quick drive over to Rouses' grocery. Our group also had an easy walk to Magazine St and up to the street car. I would recommend this rental to friends and family.
This property had everything we needed! Beds were comfortable and the whole place was very clean. There is street parking but a huge perk is this place has a little driveway! Itâs a freestanding home as well which is a rarity in NOLA! No noisy wallmates! You can hear the music from the brewery across the street when in the living room but they close at 10pm promptly every night so it was not a problem at all.
Overall the house is decorated nicely however there were not the usual amenities that every other VRBO that I have stayed at has, such as ground coffee, hand towels, rug in front of door, (it was pouring rain all day) laundry detergent etc. Also one couple arrived early in NOLA and requested an early check-in or a place to store luggage and the host wanted to charge $150 for that. This felt very unfriendly and lacking of customer service. There is a live edge wood counter top in kitchen and very small ants were coming out of the cracks. Lastly, I was required to take out an insurance policy for damages, cost $59. If i didnât do that I was required to put a $1500 deposit down.
This is a great location for a family Mardi Gras celebration. Quick walk to Napoleon Ave where many parades start. This neighborhood is the best for MGras. Small crowds lots of families. The property was beautiful and comfortable. Lots of space in open kitchen living area to gather. We had everything we needed. Two bdrm two baths gave everyone their own space. Will definitely book this property again.
