This property was extraordinary It was a beautiful private setting, but close to a main road and a short drive to downtown Bloomington, where restaurants, shops, and events are happening. Beautifully decorated, with all the comfort and amenities needed for a weekend getaway, or long stay.

Really great property

Feels pretty secluded despite its location, and is really well furnished. Our 3-year old needed some supervision on the spiral stairs, but the layout worked well for our family and the property (fire pit area and short trail along the ravine with platform above the creek) is really nice.

Beautiful and Secluded

We loved this A frame retreat. It’s located perfectly to be close enough to town, but far away from it all to make it feel like being in the country side. We stayed during the winter, but definitely want to book again in the Fall.

Wonderful experience

My friend and I loved it here. It was quiet, clean, beds were comfortable and towels very soft. It was well decorated and just perfect for a girls weekend. We will be back I'm sure. This was the first time I have ever used Vrbo and I'm so glad I did!

A Memorable Stay

My now husband and I stayed here during our elopement in Brown County and it did not disappoint! The cabin was so nice and clean with plenty of amenities, and the outdoor space was amazing. We definitely plan on staying again the futurew.

Lovely house and yard. A quiet spot to recharge for the weekend in an adorable little A frame cabin. Well decorated, well supplied. All around great!

Perfect family getaway!

My family absolutely loved our long weekend stay at The Edge! The property was quiet and beautiful - we especially loved the fire pit area and the small deck overlooking the stream at the end of the trail. We even spotted a few white tail deer drinking at the stream one morning. The house was also lovely and had everything we needed. It was so cozy and peaceful - we didn’t want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fun and Beautiful Getaway

We enjoyed our weekend stay at The Edge! The home is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful decor throughout. The place is fully equipped for all your needs! Wish we could have stayed longer - we would definitely book again! The host was very responsive and helpful throughout as well!

I can't speak highly enough about our stay. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary and the peace and quiet was just what we needed. Excellent views, amazing attention to detail and overall an amazing place. We will definitely be coming back!!

Worth Every Penny

The property was hospitable, clean, and well worth the stay with all the necessary amenities. Local stores were not unreasonably far, however the property well far away enough from the hustle and bustle of a city environment. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy time away from home, but definitely worth every moment.

Perfect Fall Getaway

This was one of the most relaxing stays we have had in a long time. From the perfect decor to the picturesque views, we were beyond happy with our stay. Only a 15 min drive to some of Bloomington’s best restaurants and shops, yet far enough away to feel like you’re secluded in your own cottage paradise. We’re already looking forward to booking again!

I booked this place for my sister and I for our birthday weekend and we stayed here with our husbands. It is such a cute place! I loved that we were surrounded by woods and were able to have a fire outside. Would book again!

Bucket List Gem: Perfect Cabin Getaway Near IU

We joined friends for an IU tailgate and football game over Labor Day weekend and found this gem of a cabin. Staying in a cabin in the woods was on my bucket list this year, and this place exceeded all expectations. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer! The property is exceptional—beautifully decorated and incredibly welcoming. The fire pit area, hiking trail to the lookout point, and dual porches are fabulous spots to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything needed to cook, which I definitely plan to do next time. I can’t wait to return in the fall for a full week when the leaves are changing. We will be back!

Awesome modern cabin in the woods near Bloomington.

Very clean and modern. We enjoyed our stay, in the fall, the leaves changing on the beautiful trees. Relaxing fire pit and lights create an enjoyable, romantic, and private getaway.

Great location just south of Bloomington!

Great wooded and secluded location. The house allowed us to be in the middle of the Bloomington restaurant scene in just minutes. We also easily visited local Amish areas.The house is well equipped, neat, clean, and comfortable! We had everything we needed for a great long weekend!
