The home itself was absolutely beautiful, and you can’t beat the view from the massive windows! The roads may be a little tricky, but the distance to downtown was just lovely. High enough to see and fell the snow but close enough to everything else. If it’s not booked our next trip we most definitely will stay here again!!

Beary nice!

Within seconds of arriving we were welcomed by a bear and continued to see multiple each day! So cool! Beautiful chalet perfect for a family. My boys loved the air hockey and Pac-Man table. My only complaint was the kitchen was sparse of bakeware/bowls/storage containers and there was no grill (understandably bc of the bears). Loved the Master suite but did not love the spiral staircase to get to it. It was also nice having 3 full bathrooms. Super close to the park and downtown Gatlinburg.

Hi Courtney, Thanks for staying with us. So glad you were able to see some bears, always such a treat! You are correct about the grill, it is hard to keep one in one piece with all the bear activity in the area. We just added a park stlye grill that is more functional for the area & guests seem to be loving it! We agree, the area is perfect! So close to downtown Gatlinburg but also secluded in the mountains, so great! We are very open about the spiral staircase in our listing. There are numerous pictures of it & we talk about it as well. We do have a larger, straight staircase outside that goes right into the master bedroom if you don't wish to use the spiral staircase, hopefully you utilized that. Thanks for staying with us!

The chalet was adequate for our weekend. It would have been nice to have some written instructions regarding working the heating system, what controlled what and how the ceiling heat controls worked. Also, the kitchen lacked a few cooking tools - hand mixer, cookie sheets, roaster pan, mixing bowls, and lighting under the cabinets. We could not determine how to turn off the front door light outside so it stayed on our entire stay. The beds were comfortable and clean and the bathrooms were very clean with very nice towels. We loved the full window living room and nice porch. Overall, our stay was good.

I'm so happy you appreciated the clean home & I agree, we do have the best towels! :) Thank you for the suggestion of adding instructions for the touch screen heater, we will absolutely do that. Also, thank you for the suggestion on adding a hand mixer & other baking items to our well stocked kitchen, I'll look into adding some of those items as well. Thank you again, I hope you made some fabulous memories in the Great Smoky Mountains!

Family Vac

Cabin was clean and nice. Did not have a pool table even though it was in the pictures of cabin that I thought I was booking. Remotes did not work and I had to replace batteries. Light in MB did not work (they offered to come by). Driveway was a nightmare for a large vehicle but cabin owners tried to help with other parking arrangements. Hot tub cover was worn out and had so much water on the inside of cover that it was almost impossible to lift.

Hi Barbara, Thank you for the 5 stars! We take pride on our cleaning & all around decor. We do not have a pool table & have never had one, nor do we advertise that we have one :) I'm thinking you saw the picture of the air hockey table that we do have & thought it was a pool table. I have batteries for guests because I just never know when the batteries might go out :) I'm sorry that they went out on your trip. Same goes for light bulbs :) We ARE located in the great Smoky mountains, I can understand that the driveways & area may not be a good fit for everyone. It's a special place for sure. Unfortunately a bear attacked our hot tub cover not so long ago. I have an order for a hard top cover for the hot tub that should be installed at the beginning of April. Those bears love playing with water :) I hope that you had a great vacation none the less :)

Large family Gatlinburg Stay

We stayed here while in town for a National Dance competition with our 5 kids and one tag along friend ages 7-17 and two adults. The host had plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags for us. Home was clean with plenty of back up blankets and pillows. We used the grill and kitchen for all our meals and had no problems. Hot tub is new and comfy, look out for our friend “Richard” the bear, who’s very nice but may surprise you if you haven’t seen a bear up close and personal! We utilized the couches (and an air mattress we brought) for sleeping some of the kids so we were pretty packed but not uncomfortable. Michelle was very prompt with any questions we had and even got someone to come by and help us with hot tub temp control and refilling the water when some had flowed over and we couldn’t find the hose. I’m not a mountain girl and the driveway was a bit nerve wracking but then you get better at it and I’m thankful it’s paved! Even with rain all week we enjoyed our stay here.

So clean, all appliances were easy to use and updated, arcade gamers were a huge hit with the kids. Hot tub was perfect after active days and the it was in the perfect location. Close enough to town but far enough to feel away from it all. Highly recommend!

An amazing stay that allowed us to collect great moments with the family!

The chalet is very well located so that you don’t have to drive through the mountain road at night for too long, you can get to the center of Gatlinburg in 5 minutes! Chalet was super clean, and the host was very friendly and would respond SUPER quick to any questions we had, which made us feel safe since we were so far from home. Planning already to go back!
