Ce condo de l'île d'Okaloosa propose 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain complètes, un canapé en L et bien plus encore! Profitez de la vue sur le golfe depuis le salon et la chambre. Situé directement sur le golfe du Mexique, ce condo possède deux piscines (dont une chauffée en hiver), un bain à remous et un centre de remise en forme qui donne sur la piscine. La promenade mène de la piscine aux sables blancs de sucre du golfe du Mexique. Profitez d'un parapluie gratuit et de deux chaises pour vous asseoir et profiter du soleil de l'île. Vous êtes à distance de marche du Gulfarium, de la jetée de pêche, des restaurants, des magasins de plage et plus encore! Cette unité non-fumeurs magnifiquement décorée dispose d'une télévision à écran plat, de 4 DVD, de 3 magnétoscopes, d'une chaîne stéréo et d'une grande baignoire de jardin dans la salle de bain principale. La literie comprend un très grand lit, 2 lits doubles et un lit superposé double.

Excellent Host

It was a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The host extremely quick to respond to any concerns or question. The Front door service was very friendly. Location was very convenient to get around. Again was very please with the host service when need. I gonna definitely rent again.

Recent stay

Condo is very nice and has everything needed for a great vacation! Kitchen is very nicely stocked with pans large enough for seafood boils and even a crock pot. Full size washer and dryer are nice to have. The complex is in a great location and is not huge so no crowding on elevators or beach. On site management helps with questions or concerns. The unit does stay very humid which may be contributing to some small areas of mold/mildew around vents and ceiling though.

Cleaning company not doing their job

Would have given 4 star rating except-While the unit is in a great location with a top notch view, the cleaning service is very clearly NOT doing their job. Upon check in, we found streaked glass tops, moldy, unchanged shower curtains, marked up walls, questionable brown fingerprints on the bathroom doors, hair in the bathroom drawers, crumbs in the kitchen, sand on the balcony. The only thing we can say for sure was done was clean bed sheets and vacumned bedroom carpets. We notified the owner about her cleaning service and to her credit, she was very understanding and refunded our cleaning deposit plus she called the rental company to complain about the cleaning service. Unfortunate that WE spent our first two hours cleaning the place however, it looks WAAAY better than how we found it. The furnishings are all good and the complex itself is very nice-can't beat the proximity of condo to ocean and great views from every unit- the place just needed to be CLEANED.

The room and view were fantastic. The location was great as well. There were several restaurants near the pier within walking distance. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Pools are nice. Beach chair service was nice. The owner was/is very responsive to questions in a timely manner. Check in process was great. Minimal issues were no dish towels, no dish detergent and no dishwashing detergent as well as several outlets seemed not to be working. There was a little bit of mold around tub in hall bathroom. Patio furniture not very comfortable but again these were minimal issues and would not affect me staying here again. My biggest issue was with the complex itself as there was a lot of smoking at the pool. There was a group of 5-7 ladies that were chain smoking in the pool near the hot tub daily and this drifted up onto our balcony as the balcony is right over the hot tub area. Said ladies were also smoking on their balcony right beside ours, which drifted over. There were many times we could not enjoy the balcony because of this. I feel there should be a designated smoking area with no smoking at the pool. Because of this issue, not certain I would stay on the third floor again. Would likely not have been an issue if we had been higher up.

The property was good. Loved the view and location to restaurants and things to do. My only complaint was the tub wouldn’t drain and I had to clean hair out of it. Always a spill in the refrigerator and cabinet.

Amazing family spot

Pictures didn't do this spot justice. Views were amazing and condo was super nice and spacey. Even with a few days of not so great weather, there was so much to do. When the tide went out, it was fun to walk the beach, too. Destin was close enough for lots of entertainment. So many restaurants and we highly recommend Maguires in Destin.

Great location, great property!

This was ideal for what we wanted. Walk out the back door of the complex and you can be on the beach in seconds! We watched dolphins in the ocean every morning and beautiful sunsets over the ocean every night. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and many great restaurants within walking distance! If you get back to Ft Walton Beach I sure hope this is available because we would stay here again!

Good stay just needs to be cleaned

The pictures and listing is very accurate. The location was perfect for us , walking distance to restaurants and some shopping . Only a few housekeeping flaws. Furniture was dusted last time or for a while, it had “Dust Me” written in the dust. Sheets on the top bunk were dirty , as the front desk for them to change it, the lady said they didn’t do that and gave me a clean queen set. Lastly, we were checking under furniture before we left and found 3-4 beer cans under the dresser in the MB. But the condo is nice and in a good location. Kitchen as about anything you could need for cooking EXCEPT a pair of scissors

Picture perfect

We are a family of 8, and everyone was able to sleep in a bed, very hard to find! Condo was very clean, location was perfect! We loved being right on beach! Access to pool and beach right outside the door! We walked to the putt putt place across the street one night, it wasn’t a fancy one but we still had fun. Ate dinner one night at The Crab Trap at the Pier, highly recommend. Pizza from Hungry Howies was AMAZING! Drove over to Destin and played laser tag one night too. We had a great week! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you! Although you need to get a new set of dice for Yahtzee haha, one of them only has 3 numbers on it

Outstanding rental with incredible views

What can we say about this property that hasn't already been said? Laura, the property owner, was so attentive and answered all of our questions (and we had many) prior to booking the rental. She is top notch with her communication. The condition of the property was excellent and very clean. I did give the rating for "accuracy of online rating" only a "4" and that is because the kitchen has been updated but its not reflected in the pictures. So in actuality, it ended up better than we expected but they should update the pictures to reflect the wonderful kitchen that they have now. It's our second rental on Okaloosa Island this year and we will be back. This particular rental will be our "go to" when we return as it is perfect! Thank you Laura for sharing such a great place with others!

Laura, the owner was very responsive and accommodating. A very nice lady. The property management, however, is not at all good. The cleaning they supposedly did to the property prior to our arrival was awful. There were numerous dirty dishes in cabinets, prior tenants underwear in washer, food and sand all over outdoor table, true filth and grime in cabinets and silverware and cooking utensil drawers. I spent over an hour cleaning after we arrived and washed all dishes and utensils we planned to use. Also cleaned some of the cabinets and drawers that we used to ensure we started with sanitized surfaces. Property managers did nothing to try and control unruly guests and I never saw them cleaning surfaces throughout the day. In the middle of a pandemic, I would have expected more. Property managers were never wearing masks. Overall disappointing. But not owners issue, it’s the poor property management.

Great place! Second time staying at Summer Place, different condos, but both were great!!!

Family vacation for Thanksgiving and one to be thankful for. It was easy to walk in and go to clean condo with everything I needed. Kid friendly for my 17 year old and my 10 year old. Many great restaurants within walking distance, but if you drove, the opportunities for great food are endless! Fort Walton is my favorite vacation location and my family comes every year at least once. Highly recommend this unit! Owner was wonderful to work with! Very helpful, even when my family had a medical emergency days before the trip. Thank you for a great stay and a chance to relax after some stressful times.

Everything was neat and orderly. There were many cooking utensils. It was so quiet even though there were many guests. The best part of any beach condo is the beach. The gulf was especially clear and relatively calm. Thank you Laura, for keeping your condo up to date and well furnished. We loved our time at Summer Place Unit 308. You will not be disappointed.

308 Summer Place

We LOVED 308 Summer Place. It was our first time to the beach with our toddlers and it couldn't have been more perfect. We were so pleased that the unit was clean, had an amazing view, plenty of space, had beach toys for our kids, the pools were so nice, there was complimentary beach service so we didn't have to lug chairs and umbrellas down to the beach along with our kids and stuff. Plus there were extra beach chairs on the balcony we could use if needed. The location was perfect too, close to so many restaurants and attractions, yet you feel so secluded and private. We are already talking about when to come back, and telling everyone we meet they should definitely check this unit out. Laura was very easy to get a hold of. The only thing that could have made the stay a little better was to have a few more supplies for at least one time use (laundry detergent, trash bags, dish soap), but from reading others reviews and the list of amenities we were prepared and brought some from home.

Condo was absolutely perfect except the master bedroom REALLY needs a new mattress and the chain lock was broken on the front door. House was stocked perfectly with extra beach chairs and toys!

Perfect Location

The location is perfect, the balcony is lovely to watch the ocean from. We loved the pool as well. Everything was clean. Our only complaint was that we had to buy several things to keep clean including trash bags, laundry and dish soap and beach towels. I guess that’s no big deal but we weren’t aware those were not provided so we had to go back to the grocery when we found out. I guess the garbage bags and dishwasher tabs were the most irritating since those are impossible to live without. Otherwise the condo was lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

Summer Place Condo - 308

We rented Summer Place Condo #308 from the owner Laura. The condo was perfect for a family vacation. The unit was clean, beautiful, well furnished and a great view of the Gulf of Mexico. The owner is very helpful and took care of an issue while we were at the unit. You can't go wrong renting this unit and the beach in this area is beautiful.
