CAUSEWAY COTTAGE: A Charming Beautifully Decorated Home in a lovely Southwest Harbor Setting.
Please read through the listing, most questions will be answered here. *DO NOT press the BOOK button until we tell you we are ready. To cover added efforts we will assess an automatic additional $350 fee - with no exceptions- to all bookings where prior conversation was not had before initiating the booking request, as it can take a few days to confirm availability with the homeowner and VRBO/Homeaway will assess us penalties for not accepting within a 24 hour window. Please review further notes and disclosure below. Please let us know if you have any questions, as payment constitutes acceptance of these terms and is binding. Please note a separate lease packet must be completed within an Agency determined time frame to complete the reservation and failure to complete the lease packet will cause automatic forfeiture of funds paid. This beautiful antique farmhouse offers a spacious, bright sunny interior and is tastefully decorated and full of charm! With fabulous screened porch and extended living space; ideal for summer relaxation and entertaining. Perfectly situated across from the Causeway golf course and just up the lane from the Causeway, from where it is a pleasant walk into town. Also within walking distance to hiking trails at Flying Mountain and Acadia National Park, with nearby swimming spots available at Echo Lake. All the makings for a fabulous, memorable stay at Causeway Cottage!

2025 Weekly Rates WITHOUT required added Agency/VRBO Fees and the amounts reflected on Lease Agreement that you sign for parties of 6 or less: August $5000; October $4000. Please inquire on availability for other months and for the POTENTIAL rental for added guest house with Queen Bed and Full Bath with shower with added $1000+ cost. Note: Stairs to the second floor are steep and should be used with due care. No use of the Fireplace permitted. No use of the second story Deck permitted. Please also note all children do count as individual occupants for limit purposes regardless of whether vrbo classifies them as such. Parking for 2 or 3 Vehicles, please inquire and let us know if you anticipate a third vehicle and we can see if this might possibly be accommodated.
Please note: The Security Deposit is $750 and VRBO/Homeaway does not collect but instead places a collateral credit hold for this amount, to be released in the event no claims are made, therefore VRBO issues no security refund.
