Hi Jeffery, security was called because you had double the limit of people staying at the property, you had brought a dog ( we have a no pet policy), and we saw the owners closet was broken into from the two exterior cameras and several of our personal items were damaged. One camera points at the stairs going up to the house and the other exterior camera points at the front patio showing the front door - these are standard security camera placements and are up to code with rental property security protocol. I’m sorry your family had this experience, we have eleven years of only positive reviews and we rarely receive less than 5 stars, unfortunately you broke several policies we have at this property. We do not allow large parties and pets, and the locked outdoor areas are for our personal use only. Next time we would advise reading the policies before your next vacation rental.
