A well-designed beach cottage with ample space for a family vacation! This property offers four bedrooms, which includes a bunk room with 4 twin beds and three full bathrooms. This cottage is located in Beachtown’s East Village, one row from the beach and along an open green space affording guests great sunset views and hours of watching ships making their way through Galveston Bay. Convenient one-story floor plan with a great room and screened rear porch. The living room includes a fireplace as well as a wood-planked cathedral ceiling. This property is just a short walk to the dune walkover to access the beach. This home is sure to be the perfect getaway for families vacationing in Galveston!

Fun Every Time We Go

This is our second time staying in this property and it was just as nice as the first time. The house is stocked with snacks and drinks and full of fun things to do like bicycles, a gold cart, and beach toys. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great stay!

House was great as listed. Beds were very comfortable. The owner provided tons of amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. One small issue with cleanliness but was rectified quickly, easily, and to our satisfaction. Will stay again!

Amazing Thanksgiving Family Getaway

We had an amazing family getaway for Thanksgiving at this property! The easy access to the beach, combined with its fantastic location and spacious layout, made our stay truly enjoyable. The house was impeccably set up and thoughtfully appointed, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable visit. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had all the essentials, making it feel like our own summer retreat. This experience is truly what every host should strive for. June Getaway

We had a fantastic stay. The home is well kept and has everything you need. The screened in porch is perfect for hanging out in - the mosquitos are out of control! We enjoyed the easy beach access. And the golf cart was so helpful in carting our 3 kids (ages 4, 2, and 1) around the grounds. We hope to come back!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was great, from the decor, finishings and all the amenities the house provided. we definitely will be returning. Only suggestion is maybe some fans downstairs to help with mosquitoes, but other than that the house was amazing.

Dream House

This house is a dream for a vacation. They graciously provided anything and everything you could ever need while on vacation to the beach. The house was stocked to the gills. Easy walk to the beach. Golf cart ride to the pool. It all was wonderful. Kept the kids entertained for sure!

wonderful beach rental

We shared this rental with another family -10 in all - and had such a wonderful time. close to the beach. well kept property. the mosquitoes were quite bad - but i think that’s because of the recent rain. definitely recommend repellant and even spray for the stairs and garage. the screened in porch is lovely and fun to watch the boats come into the port. would recommend highly for families looking forward a beach getaway.

The best home!

I don’t even know where to start as this home has set the highest bar for rentals. I don’t think we can stay anywhere else now! The owner has gone over the top with what they offer to guests. The home has literally everything you need and things you didn’t think you needed! The decor is stunning, the quality of the items (kitchen, bath, bedding, etc) is luxury! We felt like we were staying at our friend’s place with just how nice and comfortable it was. The house is 50 yards from the beach walkover, so it’s incredibly easy to go back and forth to the beach if you need to. The beach itself feels so private and the whole neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, not like the other party areas where you never know what you’re going to hear at night. Seriously this place is the best and I hope the owner never stops renting it because we will be back again and again, thank you!

Wonderful Beach Home

It was a great stay for New Year's for us. The house is clean and beautiful. The amenities are amazing. The kitchen was stocked with snacks and drinks. There were plenty of beach toys and towels in the garage. The only minor snafu was that I had to reach out to the property manager to get the code to enter the home. It was not sent to us. There was also confusion regarding the wifi password. It was still a great weekend and we would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations!

We loved this property! The photos online are quite accurate as to its beautiful design and decor. It was lovely inside and out. Still, it exceeded our expectations. A dream beach house and I loved pretending it was mine! Very nice to have everything on one floor. Cozy yet spacious and very well appointed. Just a very short walk across the street to the beach access. We really enjoyed the bayside view with breezes rustling through the grasses, birds, sunrise and sunset, barges drifting to and from the ship channel, and even a side view of the Gulf surf. The house next to this is set back so the view is encompassing and no structures are behind the house. Glorious solitude on this screened in porch! The management here is excellent and check-in, check-out is very easy and they are very responsive to help and answer any questions. The rental cost is totally worth it for these lovely homes in this unique community so close to the historical district and all the best that Galveston has to offer. We will be back and it would be hard to not rebook this particular property. First class!

Perfect Getaway

We had a WONDERFUL stay! The property was just as described, location to the beach was awesome and the beach itself was not crowded at all, allowed our kids plenty of space to roam safely. The house was great for our group!!

Beautiful home in the middle of a mosquito breeding ground

This home was just exactly as advertised, and was perfect for our family reunion. Unfortunately, to get into the house, one must go up the outside stairs, and there were hundreds of swarming mosquitoes at all times. Between the trip up the stairs and the trips to the beach, we all wound up with a minimum of 30 bites per person, and that was after spraying ourselves down with "Off" for each trip. For that reason alone, we would not go back if the home was offered at 1/5 of the price. We made the mistake of paying the $150 for pool use before we realized that there was a mosquito problem, so we did not use the pool once. I did go inside the gate to see if there were mosquitoes there as well, and there were. The home is nice. There was a definite shortage of linens, so I would highly suggest you bring your own towels. There was only one bath mat to be found, but there was a washer and dryer, which was very convenient. Overall, although the home is lovely, we feel it is overpriced for the amenities, and being forced to stay indoors except when at the beach was a definite drawback. The beach also had mosquitoes, but it wasn't as bad as the neighborhood.

Relaxing Respite

Beautiful and relaxing, this property was a perfect choice for a brief getaway. Cool walks on the easily accessed beach and warm nights by the cozy fireplace were just what we needed.

Excellent property in exceptional location.

Process to rent was very easy and on site staff was excellent. They called periodically during our stay to see if we needed anything which was extremely helpful.
