The primary bedroom has king bed, 2nd bedroom has a new queen bed, the third bedroom has a twin over full pyramid bunk and a twin trundle.

Diamond Beach Resort is a five-star, luxury getaway, located on the West End, just at the end of the Seawall, world’s longest continuous sidewalk. All units offer a private balcony with expansive and unobstructed Gulf Views. Guest will be able to watch the waves roll in and crash against the Seawall, watch the seagulls and pelicans fly overhead and look down below to the outdoor pool and lazy river, without leaving your condo. Diamond Beach Resort amenities include a three-tiered 300′ cascading infinity outdoor pool, 750′ outdoor lazy river (guests must bring own tubes)(peak season 11 am – 7 pm), two outdoor hot tubs, outdoor swim-up bar and grill (peak season), sand volleyball court, cornhole, chess, ping pong, grills (9 am – 7 pm by reservation), cabana rentals (9 am – 5 pm by reservation), outdoor shower, indoor heated pool, outdoor veranda perfect for watching the sunset, game room, Ocean Movie Theater (open to public before 3 pm and private reservations after that time), Wine and Dine Room, children’s Jungle Playroom, 24/7 fitness center, 24/7 business center, conference room, vending machines, secure building and gated community. Great option for a family. Enjoyed the second floor view better than our friend's higher floor view - had an infinity ocean effect. Comfortable furnishings and overall great stay. Would give 5 stars if there were a few more basics in kitchen (extra trash bag, an extra toilet paper roll, more than one cutting board, more than one dish towel), but otherwise was great! I recommend this resort

Great pool

Loved the location, pool wonderful and very clean. Walk to beach was long, Need better shower area at beach path to hose off feet and beach gear. Game room needed more actuates Would be nice to have outdoor shuffle boards. Over all great experience.

We had so much fun. The place was beautiful. Your front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and exceeded our expectations. We are planning on coming back at the end of summer. I have recommended this location to everyone.

Awesome property with a few minor improvements needed

The resort was awesome with great amenities. The unit we stayed in was clean and very nice but a lot of things were not well attached to the wall (towel holders, toilet paper holders, and even the thermostat). I would recommend the unit cause it’s really nice but would love to see those few things fixed if we were to come back.

Everything that has to do with the actual property is well maintained and great. The pools and lazy river is beautiful. Check in is easy. The unit is in poor shape not well maintained. They have redone some finishes which look very nice, but the unit is beat up. Scratches and dings everywhere. The washing machine was so mmajorly cleaning it. The air conditioner leaked and poured gross water all over our stuff and the panel fell from the ceiling. Furniture was dirty, the toilet paper holder was broken off the wall. Empty soap dispensers in the bathroom. Only one set of trash bags and toilet paper for 6 people for a week. We had to go to the store to buy toilet paper, soap and trash bags. The beds were very uncomfortable. I did like the shower in the master bathroom, but we couldn’t get the bathtub faucet to work for the kids to take a bath. Even the maintenance guy couldn’t figure it out. We had to call the emergency hotline/maintenance the whole trip. Too much to deal with for how much it costs. Pictures must be old. Not upscale experience at all.

Off-season escape

Diamond beach resort was perfect for our quick stay on the island. Took young grandchildren for a beach adventure without crowds. It was great. Amenities are perfect

No major complaints that made us unhappy, just a few things that made it not 5 star worthy. The pools are great, the game room was nice (a few non-functional things, but otherwise ok. The walk to the beach is a hike, especially if you have anything heavy, anything to pull, or small kids. Loose, deep sand and uphill on the way back were tough, but manageable. Overall, the living and kitchen were nice, the washer dryer in the room was helpful, and the beds are comfortable with very soft sheets and good pillows. The view is a BEAUT!The tile in the shower was so slick we had one fall and three near falls, the secondary bathroom would not switch from shower to bath, which was hard with a very small child. That bath’s front was clearly either unfinished or done unprofessionally. Some spots where baseboards had gotten wet showed that they are fiberboard not wood, and the paint touch ups with paint that is the same color but not same finish certainly gave a cheap appearance. The comforter in the main bedroom didn’t fit the bed and left us uncomfortable. The light switches are very confusing, and the location and way they operate left us struggling to sort out where to look and what controlled what. The tv was a smart tv but had no internet connection for streaming services. The outdoor furniture was comfortable, but not as advertised.

Great family amenities!

Living on the Island we knew this property had some great amenities. It was the perfect staycation! The lazy river, huge pool and location on the beach were wonderful for a family stay. The kitchen was well equipped, just missing a pizza cutter, ice cream scoop and perhaps some more basic spices would be nice. Coffee filters and aluminum foil would also be good to offer guests. The bathroom door did not have a lock so that was another thing that could be improved. Overall a great location and stay for the whole family.

Spring break 2024

We had a great time in Galveston. This property was perfect for my family! The location was super convenient, the amenities were great! Although it was a little cool and windy for swimming outside, the indoor pool was great! My only complaints would be that it took a really long time to get warm water and there was water leaking from the fridge. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent for Weekend Family Getaway

We stayed here with our two kids for the weekend and it was wonderful. The pool is perfect for small children and so much fun. Loved that you could walk right outside to the beach instead of having to cross the busy street to get to the seawall. The playroom was also really nice to have for the middle of the day when you want to keep the little ones out of the blazing sun. The kids were so happy playing on the beach and in the pool. We truly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go back.

BOI returns home

As a BOI, my standards are high for when I come back home to the island. However, instead of staying with fam and friends we decided to try something new and this didn’t disappoint! The pools and lazy river and amenities were awesome- something for everyone!! Can’t wait to stay again soon!! Our new go-to! Clean and friendly.

Family vacation

We visited with daughters family and my parents. We had an infant with us. The resort was fabulous. Really enjoyed the availability of the luggage carts, playroom, indoor pool and the amazing pools and lazy river. We have no complaints at all about the resort. However, if my daughter had not rode with us, we would’ve had a parking issue. Room allows for 6 adults … therefore typically 3 cars. No option for a 3rd car parking and no parking near, could’ve been an issue. Our only complaint was with our actual room/listing. We specifically chose this rental for the large table height patio table since most condos don’t have a kitchen table and bar height isn’t feasible for little children. None of the patio furniture was as seen in photos. Also, chose this resort because of water slide shown in resort images … only to be informed (when asked for location upon arrival) there is no longer a water slide. Again, if elder grandkids had been able to come, this would’ve been a big let down. The coffee table and floors were both very dirty upon arrival. I recommend bringing floor fans for the rooms as the ceiling fans don’t cool enough if doors are shut while sleeping. Main areas stay cold, but rooms do not. Very very stuffy and hot. Communication to “owner” through Vrbo was unacceptable as I didn’t receive a reply. We will visit again as we loved the resort but unhappy with the above mentioned issues. Concerned with beach access once neighboring resort is built. No beach front @DB.

Quick Beach Trip

The condo was very nice. Patio was huge and had plenty of seating. It is one floor up from the pool. Pictures make it look level with the pool. The complex was nice. There were a few broken umbrellas. The cabana was nice and had a built in cooler. I wish the fence around the pool didn't block the view of the ocean. We loved the lazy river and having a full bar available on the weekend. Pool is huge and beautiful.

We have been to this complex 5 or 6 times in recent years. This experience was truly disappointing. The floor tiles were broken and the management team rented the condo anyway. These broken tiles were in the middle of the primary walkway, mind you. Absolutely unacceptable. There were shards of broken tiles on the floor where my children were walking. I will never work with this management group again.

Restful but very average and aging property

We have checked out early. The dishwasher isn’t working. The ice machine on the fridge isn’t working well. The cooktop is cracked and damaged. There is such limited kitchenware, that we struggled with serving meals. 1 serving bowl, one pyrex baking pan. Thats it. The condo needs a good overhaul or deep cleaning and re-stocking. The patio door doesn't lock! The furniture outside is also in need of repair or replacement. Broken chairs, and torn cushions is not what i expected in one of the most expensive rentals in Diamond Beach! We paid the highest price we’ve EVER paid for a rental at DB! Very disappointed. The beds were comfortable tho. The response to a AC malfunction was fast and helpful.

Not a bad escape from reality!

It was really nice to get away. The place is mostly fantastic, so here’s the reasons for not giving a 5-star rating: 1) Cleanliness: 3 stars. Finding food crumbs on the floor and on the furniture was annoying. So was having to clean “trash-splash goo” off the walls from previous tenants in both the kitchen and master bedroom. I get that kids and families stay here, but they may need to hire a new cleaning crew. Location: 4 stars. The “close to the beach” is deceiving. You are absolutely right on the water. But finding sand is a bit of a walk (1.5 miles) if you’re carrying beach gear. Bring a wagon or pay to park down the road. If you’re looking from a nice getaway from Covid, this will do. But keep in mind the bars onsite are closed, they no longer offer free float tubes for the lazy river, and staff (while super friendly and helpful) are limited in numbers. The hot tub heating element was broken on one of the two hot tubs the entire week...made it hard to social distance and warm up at the same time. Overall, the views were just like in the pictures. Just bring misquote repellant!!!!!

Not as advertised

Upon arrival to diamond beach only 1 out of 2 elevators at the place were working. During check in which took some time of showing not only the confirmation number but also having to prove which dates then filling out additional paperwork. They gave us a piece of paper saying loose roof tiles so avoid/ limit the use of your balcony! The pool was closed even though there was nothing wrong with it and got cleaned every morning. The slide as advertised in the lazy river is not there. The swim up bar is not there either. The Sand volleyball Was closed, the hot tub at the lazy river was broke. Construction tape with fencing and posts along the lazy river. The Cabanas and covered cooking area were not available. The arcade room only had a few games working. The wine and dine was closed along with the lounge/bar. While hurricane beryl happened 3 weeks ago there was no communication about all of the issues with the amenities at this place that were being paid for. The condo itself was nice but to pay top dollar to enjoy the amenities that weren’t available to enjoy and no discount or offer to reschedule is ridiculous and false advertising. Several unhappy guests.

Great spot for family

The pool and lazy river are both nice, very well maintained and the kids enjoyed both. The unit we stayed in was nicely updated and as described. The unit was on the second floor so we had a larger balcony than other floors. The gym has good equipment and well maintained. Bring bug spray! Even though the resort sprays for mosquitos, they are fierce. My husband was actually swarmed and received about 50 plus bites...he did not spray so lesson learned. Location was away from the activity, but just about right. The only issue with the unit itself is the master bed/mattress, it needs to be replaced. I would also suggest that an all purpose cleaner be available in unit to wipe down the kitchen counters. My graddaughters had a blast though!
