Beautiful home just steps away from the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay her again.

The beach house has everything one needs to spend a great vacation. The location is perfect both for beach access and visiting attractions in Galveston. The rental process was easy! We can’t wait to visit again soon!!!

Family wedding weekend

We were very impressed with Thai property. House was super nice and clean throughout. There was plenty of pots and pans for cooking. Although it’s not on the beach it’s a short walk to the boardwalk to get you on the beach. We would certainly stay there again as it also seems to be priced right. Only issue for big groups could be the parking. However, we parked a car at the end of the street with no problem. Enjoyed!!

Repairs Were Needed Prior to us Checking in

The right sink in the master bath was leaking so the rug was soaked and the dryer didn't work so there was no way for us to do loads of towel. I had to reuse my towel several times and so did my family..

Neptune's Sanctuary has active bug infestation

Our stay was horrible!! There is an active roach infestation. We reported the issue the evening of our arrival by sending videos and pictures. We were completely ignored there was no offer to relocate my family. Just an automatic email response from a bot stating they had received our message ! We noticed roach baits & roach spray throughout the home so we believe the host was aware of the problem! This home should be removed from the VRBO platform until the problem is remediated. I would hate to have other families endure the horror we did !

Great house close to the beach

House was fantastic. Great kitchen and living area that had all the amenities. All the appliances, etc all seemed new. Great patio with swing that you could sit on and see the ocean. Very relaxing. Also had a really nice patio that was screened in. Mosquitos were terrible while we were in Galveston so the screened porch came in very handy. Two minute walk to the beach so super convenient. There is an elevator in the house but renters are not allowed to use it I was told b/c of liability. That would have been nice instead of lugging bags up the stairs but not a big deal. A couple of the shades were broken but it really wasn’t a big deal. Called property manager to report it. Had to leave a msg b/c after hours. Got a call back quickly and told maintenance would be called but never heard from them or maintenance....so that’s probably my only beef. If it had been something important then we would’ve made sure to call until we got someone to come out. Overall, great house that we would definitely stay in again.

Wonderful home--but some issues with management

This is a wonderful home. Spacious enough for 3 families to enjoy comfortably. The beach is close and good as Galveston gets. We have stayed here previously and loved it enough to come back even though the cost has increased. It was disappointing this time that a few issues cropped up. We arrived to the fridge door in the kitchen being unable to close, with persistent beeping coming from it. We had to prop something in front of the fridge in order to keep it closed so the beeping would stop. There was another fridge elsewhere in the house, so we were still able to keep food cold. The wifi was also very patchy. Would work intermittently, but we were often unable to work or stream media for the kids when we wanted to. The in house network was awlays up, but the internet service kept cutting out.The house has a high-end AV set up-- but we couldn't find the router to try to restart it. Reporting issues to the property manager was unsatisfying. There was inordinately long hold times, and we finally reached someone--they "took it down" with no resolution over the following 3 days...we would have expected either an attempt at fixing these things or an adjustment to what we paid (a lot!) to stay at the house.

Great house, terrible property management

This is a GREAT house in a GREAT neighborhood, and overall, we had a great time. We are family of 7 adults, 2 toddlers, and 1 newborn. We specifically rented this house because it would accommodate all of us, knowing we would probably spend all of our time at the beach and house. We did! But cooking in and taking care of children requires a lot of laundry, which this house is set up for. We got ready to start our first load on Day 2, only to find out that the clothes dryer was broken—like parts sitting in the tumbler broken. Long story, short, the management company KNEW the dryer was broken. It would have been nice to notify us ahead of time, so that we could pack more towels and clothes. Instead, they chose to lie and put us off for days. They never offered help or more towels to exchange until we begged for them on Day 4. We could accept that better if we weren’t paying top dollar for these amenities. In addition, we had no Wi-Fi, which is also advertised as a selling point. We reported the problem, but no one ever showed up. Probably a reset was all that was required, but renters have no access to the equipment. This really is a perfect house for a big group and I appreciate that the owners seem to care about guests. However, the property management doesn’t seem to care about the owners or renters. We wouldn’t let it ruin our time together, but it would make me think long and hard about renting it again.

The home is beautiful and well equipped. The only issue we had was that the Internet was not working so we were unable to work remotely from this location and also when Internet does not work the TV in the living room does not work. We texted and we called the property management company a couple different times received nothing but excuses from them and no one ever came to the property to help us with the Internet. We asked where the router was so we could reset it ourselves and we got no response from the property management company. I would suggest to the homeowners to find a different property management.

Wonderful House

This property is well maintained and a cut above the rest. Our group had two separate families - 3 kids total (two below age of 3). The home worked perfect. We had plenty of space. House was very clean and exactly like photos posted on the listing. Walk to the beach was 2 minutes. Property manager was very responsive when I called at 10pm with a minor issue (random beep that sounded like a smoke detector) Everything was handled professionally and quickly. Our stay was great! We will definitely stay at this property again.

Neptune Sanctuary is the location you want when you want to host a family vacation. It has outstanding amenities, full kitchen, many spots for family to be together and apart and access to the beach. It is impeccably clean and fully furnished.
