Cozy Cabin is indeed just that. This beach cabin has a tremendous location. Grab your beach chairs and take stroll down to the beach that's only a block away and enjoy beach life for awhile. It's only two and a half blocks to downtown Manzanita that is ready to be explored.

The living room has high vaulted ceilings, love seats to cuddle up on, and a TV with DVD player and cable. Walk under the beautiful staircase to find the dining room, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, and laundry room with a door to the back yard where you will find a patio table with chairs. You will find one of the bedrooms down here with a comfortable bed. There is a bathroom with a stall shower on this floor. Traipse up the stairs to the two other bedrooms. There is a full bathroom as well on this floor.

We loved the cabin itself, all of the room it gave our family of 4, the proximity to the beach and the proximity to town. We had a great trip - full of adventure, great food, and a lovely place to call home for a few days!

Great Stay!

Super clean! Wonderful location. Walking distance to the beach and to our morning latte place. The home itself is super cute,cozy and clean. Loved the front porch to sit and enjoy our morning coffee!

Charming

Great location, a short walk to the beach, but sheltered from the wind, and shaded much of the day. Cozy cottage. Felt larger than its exterior appearance. Comfortable furniture and beds. Enjoyable stay.

The location was great. We enjoyed the front porch and the chairs. Unfortunately there was a lot of disappointment when we went inside. We moved the coffee table over a bit and there was tons of dirt and hair beneath. There was sand in our bed between the sheets. The comforter smelled like body odor and same in the other bedroom. We ended up washing all the bedding. There were soap dispensers in the shower but the body wash was empty and there were no soap bars, etc. there was no bath mat in the upstairs bathroom. The coffee maker was dirty and we had to wash it. I preheated the oven, opened it and smoke came billowing out. The drinking glasses had lipstick stains on them, and the light in the one bedroom was very very dark (not good for a senior citizen). The bbq had mold on it and the front porch was covered in sand. For the price we expected much, much more. It was really frustrating for us almost like they did not to prepare for the next guests, us.

Loved the location. Easy walk to beach and local restaurants. The cabin was cozy. Plenty big enough for the 4 adults in our group, though.

Family getaway

We booked this house for our family getaway. As adults, it's hard to find time in our busy lives to just shut the world off and enjoy each other's company. This trip was definitely that. This rental was our second stay. Our first stay was many years ago. The house is in a really great location and it's pet friendly which made it perfect for us. The house could use some upgrades considering the cost but it was still a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Close to the beach

Great location close to beach and restaurants. The bedding was nicer than places we stayed in the past, especially the nice sheets. We really appreciated the extra blankets as well. Loved the driveway for packing in and out. The porch is very nice as well. We loved the dinning table to look out the window and drink coffee before a beach walk.

We had a lovely time - great house!

We had a lovely time and enjoyed the fire place and general layout of the house. We didn’t cook (hey, this was vacation!) but the kitchen had the obvious necessities. Access to the beach was convenient and also to town. The layout of the house worked well for us.

Great place in a great location for our family.

We enjoyed our stay with our 3 daughters. Plenty of space and property was very clean upon arrival. We seemed to have everything we needed despite some changes due to COVID. A short 5 minute, or less, walk to the beach. The beach was great for sunsets and morning runs. Appreciated the extra throw blankets as it chilly at times. We also enjoyed the short walk to town to visit shops or grab breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Family holiday.

Thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and time to spend with family. We loved the time with our 8 month old granddaughter. We left a few paper bags of recycling in laundry room. Don’t see a specified container for recycling items. You should consider better instructions. If it works out, we would come again. We appreciated the cleanliness. We took advantage of the lovely kitchen, dining and living room areas. We left used sheets and towels in respective rooms.

When we arrived, the beds were made but when we pulled back the bedspreads we were surprised to find a soiled bottom sheet without a top sheet. We found wet towels in the dryer and had several hand towels but no washcloths. Dog food was on the floor in the kitchen and bedrooms. The carpets were filthy and when I pulled the rubber mat up in the upstairs bathroom the tub was full of sand. We even found underwear under the bed and a sock in the bushes out front. But the most troubling was the broken and missing blind in the front window. We had to hang a sheet in the window so we could have privacy in the evening. The location was excellent, but the house is in need of some maintenance deep cleaning if we were to return.

Cozy and Hairy!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was cozy as advertised, but an excessive amount of pet hair throughout the property spoiled our experience.Those that are accompanied with pets should have to register them, and possibly pay for an additional cleaning fee. When renters depart, there should be a consistent level of cleaning afterwards so that follow-on renters are not grossed out by the amount of hair here.Finally, the exterior of the property could have some refreshing to make it look as new as the photo of the property.

Cozy is the right description

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cozy Cabin is in a great location in a small coastal community. It's located in a very quiet area with a short walk to an expansive beach and the heart of the town. While it's advertised as sleeping 6, which it does, it's better suited for 4 guests. The cabin is well stocked and didn't appear to be lacking any necessities. The interior is nicely decorated and comfortable, but there are a few areas that need some maintenance attention. The exterior grounds could also use some attention. The pricing structure is odd with a lot of add-ons that would be better included in the base price to get an accurate upfront cost, which seems comparable with other properties. There is a rather extensive list of rules with some strange requirements, like charging if furniture is moved out of place and requesting that renters strip beds and start laundry. In spite of some of the negatives, I would recommend Cozy Cabin for a comfortable getaway.

Great with a few caveats

This was our second time renting this house so obviously we like it, but management needs to be a little more thorough on a few things. Little things, but they add up: The kitchen faucet was spraying everywhere and leaking, with a lot of mold and mildew underneath--ugh. The light above the stove was burnt out with no replacement bulbs, so we had to use a camp light to see the stovetop. An awful smell in the fridge—it was clean but the smell was terrible (like fishy garbage); not sure how housekeeping didn’t notice. The lamp in one bedroom was broken so the only way to use it was to plug in and unplug. Stains on the carpet. The upstairs toilet isn’t properly seated so it rocks. It made me question if the place was being properly kept up or would it decline if we booked again. It’s both great and not-great it’s managed by Vacasa: communication is fast, but you get a different person each time who sometimes know nothing about your previous communication. I did alert them to all these issues. Now the good and why we came back: A super easy walk of a block to the beach and town. The porch is the best and perfect for relaxing in the afternoon sun with a great setup (a note to bring a few extra outdoor chairs if you have more than four people). Lots of kitchen pots and pans and utensils. First floor BR and bath good for those with mobility issues. And it's just cozy as advertised, very comfortable and welcoming. We hope they do a little better keeping up with the wear and tear!
