Delightful cottage- as described

We had a lovely summer week at this home. It was very convenient to all of the bay sights and the TART trail (just down the road), which we used multiple days. The home was spotless and well stocked, and photos were accurate. Do not hesitate to book!

Great Location

In TC for business and wanted to bike. This location is great for both - easy access to trail for biking and easy to navigate around TC from this spot. The house is well appointed and very clean. Have already made plans to return in a few months!

Great find!

My fiancé and I stayed at this location with our two girls (ages 6&7) for a long weekend. We were a little concerned about road traffic (kids are light sleepers) but despite being on a busier road, we were so impressed with how insulated and quiet the house was! Beds were super comfy, and this house had all the regular amenities for a relaxing stay. Close to all the things, including bike paths, beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We loved the backyard, too! Little fire pit and place for kids to explore a little. I will agree with another review I saw before booking - the couch is very uncomfortable! Otherwise, we loved this place and would love to come back!

Girls trip

The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was close to the vineyards that we wanted to visit and to downtown. The listing said hot tub, but after emailing the property manager, she confirmed there is no hot tub and offered to cancel our trip and refund us. We decided to stay anyway and very glad we did

Good location off the beaten path

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit a college kiddo. The house was super clean and we appreciated being just far enough (a few minutes) away from downtown TC. We were thankful the host didn’t have a ridiculously high host fee like many of the others in the area. The beds are VERY comfy and the bathroom was redone beautifully!! Only a couple negatives for us: the couch is not comfy at all. We sat and watched TV/movies both nights. The couch is cute to look at, but hard as a rock. We were warned by the owner about the dishwasher, but it should be fixed. The door slams to the ground if you don’t hold it when opening. It’s also not level. It leans forward, so when loaded, you MUST hold the top drawer to keep it closed when loading the bottom (one of us would hold the top in while the other would load). We would like to stay here again, just would love to see more comfortable seating for a family to hang out & the dishwasher fixed. Overall, 5 stars!

Great house for small family!

We had never been to the area and were unsure about where to stay. This house was in a sweet spot for having plenty of outdoor space/parking, central to Traverse City and Lenenau, and also having the necessities super close. The TART trail is just short walk, lovely grocery store is a few minutes drive, beach/playground a few mins drive (close enough to walk if your kids are bigger), and a waterfront restaurant in walking distance. The house itself was clean, modern, and perfect for a family of four. Host was very responsive and sent all check-in info in advance. Oh and they left a lovely edible welcome gift, which our hungry team really appreciated after the drive!! Would definitely recommend.

This newly renovated home is a welcoming little place at the base of the Leelanau Peninsula, in Greilickville. Downtown Traverse City is about a 10 min drive. Want to be near the water? Cedar Lake boat launch is a few houses away and Elmwood Township Marina is nearby with a large boat launch area to access West Grand Traverse Bay.
If you are visiting for the food and wine/brewery scene, we are close to many wineries on Leelanau Peninsula and not too far to Old Mission Peninsula wineries. We are also about a 30-45 minute drive to the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, you should check it out for a great view of Lake Michigan.

This home is next door to another rental that I own. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home, sleeps 8 and would be a great choice if you wanted a larger group together. Contact me for info on that home.

This home has a large backyard for playing yard games and a campfire ring and grill for your use. It's a convenient location to get to the most popular locations in the area.
