Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry your stay was disrupted, and we understand how important elevator access was for your group. To be clear about what happened: the elevator stopped working because a member of your party opened the interior door while it was between floors. That triggers the elevator's safety lock, and only a certified technician can reset it. Your group told us at the time that this is what happened. This was not a mechanical failure or a maintenance issue with the home. Even so, our team came to the property right away to try to reset it. When it couldn't be reset on site, we arranged for an emergency technician, and the elevator was repaired the next morning. While we waited, we also offered to help your group with the stairs and luggage, and you declined. The elevator is professionally maintained and was fully safe to use once it was reset. We remind all guests to keep the interior door closed until the elevator reaches its floor. We're glad you enjoyed the view and location.
