Quaint 2 Bedroom Cabin located in the heart of the Black Hills with garage
Cozy 2 bedroom cabin in the heart of the Black Hills with large garage. Enjoy the Historic Homestake Trail conveniently located right behind the home, nice, easy 4 mile hike that takes you to the heart of Deadwood and ends on the Mickelson trail. This home is centrally located in Lead, easy walk to the park or 3 mile drive to downtown Historic Deadwood.
Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, Bedroom #2 has 2 twin beds and the living room has a futon that folds out into a full bed. Great deck for BBQing or some R and R with a cup of coffee.
This place was just outside Deadwood. Very quiet to sleep in, no road noise and comfortable. Bathroom and shower were just the right size. Water pressure a bit low, but usable. Didnât really use kitchen other than coffee maker, but looked like it had a lot of things you could use.
Good central location in Lead for a SxS trip. Talking with the property manager beforehand I knew going into the trip it might be difficult to get a truck and trailer to the property and parked overnight. I was able to make it work by backing the open trailer into the garage and using the outside space for truck and SxS parking. House is the perfect size for a family of four with teens.
Beautiful property. This property was absolutely perfect for two couples. The garage was oversized. We were able to fit three motorcycles and a small trailer in there. There is no on the street parking and the drive is small but we were able to park our truck on the driveway sideways and go in and out of the garage with no issues. House was extremely clean and perfect for our stay.
Cute and cozy cabin with great views from the front deck. Enjoyed morning coffee in the quiet neighborhood and the property was perfect for my partner and me.
Nice place to stay in Lead. Plenty of room for a couple or a small family. Use of garage is a big bonus. Host was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Will definitely book again when in the Blackhills next time.
This property is exactly as described and pictured. We enjoyed the balcony and the grill, which were a big plus. Each bedroom had its own mini split, if I remember correctly. The beds were comfortable! Having a washer/dryer in the unit was fantastic, as we stayed for several days.
"IF" I had a complaint, it would be that our mapping programs couldn't take us directly to the property, which is not the owner's fault at all! Mountain towns have some winding streets and dead ends, and Google Maps was just deficient. We did go by it at one point and recognized it, even though Google Maps was telling us to keep going. LOL! So, just have the address available and when you get close, look for the house in case your mapping program takes you past it.
Very nice home. Perfect for myself and hubby. We had our motorcycle and it was nice to be able to park it in the garage. The home was very clean and updated. Very quiet neighborhood. Not a lot of parking if you have a trailer to park.
