Villa Polenta - Kournas with pool - up to 8 persons

In the traditional village of Kournas you will find Villa Polenta, a traditional villa with swimming pool, fully renovated in 2022.

It has a living area with a smart TV, with Netflix, and a fire place, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table.

The kitchen has a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso coffee maker, a water kettle, a toaster, a microwave, an oven and a ceramic cooker and of course a dish washer. It has everything in place to enjoy cooking a great meal. The property also offers a safe to guard your money and passports.

There are 2 spacious bedrooms, one of the bedrooms has a double bed with the option of a comfortable sleeping sofa, the second bedroom has 2 single beds that can be joined together, and a bunk bed, fitting in total 4 persons. There are also another 2 comfortable sleeping couches that can fit 1 person or 2 small children.

The bathroom has two separate shower rooms closed by frosted glass doors and each have a shower and a toilet and in the main bathroom there are two countertop sinks with mirrors and also a washing machine with dryer available for your private use.

Outside there is on the ground floor a swimming pool with sun chairs, a charcoal bbq and a dining table. There's a new addition of swings and hammocks. There is also parking space for 1-2 cars. The property is shielded by a wooden frame fence to guarantee your privacy.

On the first floor there is a large balcony with a seating area where you can enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains, the village and the sea. There's also a newly added electric bbq.

And from the spacious roof terrace you can chill, have a bbq and eat and enjoy the beautiful views all around in a romantic setting. Newly added for your comfort are 4 poufs to relax in and take in the beautiful surroundings.

There are a few hammocks on every floor to just sit or lay back and enjoy. The villa offers free Wi-Fi in- and outside, smart tv's, with Netflix, and airconditioning in each bedroom and the living area.

The village of Kournas offers 3 of the best taverns in the region, in walking distance from the villa.

For the walkers and hikers amongst you, you will find the Azilakas trail, which will take you up the mountain and down the forest of Kastellos, where depending the season you will discover the various plants, flowers and herbs that nature has to offer.
It's location is less than 5 km from Kavros, with supermarkets, various shops and taverns and access to the longest sandy beach of the region, and less than 4 km through a scenic drive to the biggest lake of Crete, Lake Kournas.

It's less than 10 km from the harbour town of Georgioupoli, where you can find fresh fish and many taverns and shops. Also there you can rent a boat yourself or book a boat trip.
