Easy Check-in. Host was very easy to reach and responded to my inquiries immediately. Parking for 2 cars was a plus. Plenty of room for our family of 7.
The neighborhood is a bit questionable, but the location is good - very close to TU, and the price was very reasonable. When we walked in there was a distinct odor that smelled like wet dogs. This dissipated after awhile. The house is spacious - a lot of room for a medium-large group. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are quite large, as is the downstairs bedroom. The layout is a bit strange, but workable. Not recommended for people who have trouble with stairs.
The sheets had not been washed/changed on the upstairs beds - we had to wash these and put them back on the beds. There is limited parking, and evidently people who live in the apartments that are attached to the back of the house take the few parking spaces. Our car was blocked in one night by a black pickup truck. Fortunately the truck was gone early the next morning before we needed to get out.
There is not a soap/shampoo dispenser in the master shower so we had to use the hall bathroom.
The owners need to pay a little more attention to the details and make sure everything is clean before guests arrive.
Overall the house was lovely! For a place that can accommodate 10 people. Certainly not enough cutlery and plates were plastic like kids would eat on. No spices or any basic stuff cooking wise. Had to go to the store to grab items Hot water heater wasnât working so cold showerâs. We did call the owner he got it fixed on thanksgiving which was so nice. Our cooler was stolen off the front porch. Caught that on the ring app. For the price probably wouldnât stay again
It is very clean and modern, we really enjoyed how easy it was to access everything and property owner is very helpful and friendly, highly recommended staying here!
Hey! My name is Chris. I'm married to my beautiful wife Leah. We have two amazing children. They are my reason for getting into VRBO and working so hard everyday. I'm a Dental Tech by day and Host by night. I have a passion for making people happy. If it's giving someone the teeth they've always wanted, because they felt insecure about their smile. Or it's helping someone in need of a home to live in. I'm your dude. I lived in Tulsa for most of my life. I hope you enjoy your stay at the Midtown Mansion.
If the walls could talk, I'm sure this century old home would have some stories to tell. I absolutely love this home and the area. Seriously so close to everything.
