Air Conditioned? Yes!!!

Only few condos at Kiahuna are Air Conditioned. We are excited to announce that as of Sep. 2, 2021, our condo is fully air conditioned.

Kiahuna Resort is 35 acres of landscaped, manicured lawns and gardens. This oceanfront resort is just steps away from the beach. It’s the perfect location, only 4 miles from Allerton Garden, 45 minutes to the top of the Waimea Canyon and 1 hour to the North Shore.

The Condo: The bright, airy, penthouse suite, comes with free Wi-Fi, large screen TV, full kitchen, a separate sitting area with a pull-out sofa bed. It is located in building 18
We used the COVID shutdown to upgrade the Condo :

This suite is a penthouse unit, and has partial views of the ocean from your furnished lanai.

Sleeps 4, King size bed in the bedroom and Sofa bed in the sitting area.

Great Condo

My wife and I had a great stay in this unit. The cooler, chairs, boogie boards were a great touch. Easy walking distance to the local shops / restaurants. The happy hour at Kalapaki Joe’s was the best! Would stay here again.

Wonderful winter getaway

We loved our stay at Kiahuna Plantation. This is a lovely, quiet unit about a 5-10m walk from the beach and with a distant view of the water. Rashid is an incredibly helpful and responsive host - eager to answer any question I had. We look forward to returning!

Our home away from home

This condo is perfectly situated. Ocean views, air conditioned, close parking, and very comfortable. Beach is just minutes away, you can walk to a great breakfast spot in less than a minute, and there are plenty of dinner options in the area. Will definitely book this unit again.

Wonderful Stay

We were so pleased with our experience! Rashid was very pleasant to work with, and went above and beyond to create a very positive rental experience. The condo was great, spacious and nicely equipped for all of our needs. The location was very good- close to restaurants, beaches, and a cute little coffee shop within walking distance. We would absolutely come back again.

A Pretty Rad Place to Stay

This place was a great home base for my wife and I as we explored the island. The condo is the perfect size for a couple, and we quickly found ourselves having breakfast on the shady lanai every morning. The condo went from great to awesome, however, because of the air conditioning. The property/resort was well-kept, gorgeous, and very close to the beach; the pool/club is across the street, but as this unit is on the north side of the resort, it's still within walking distance. All-in-all, it was a great place to stay!

Great views, short beach walk, comfy condo!

My adult daughter and I appreciated the helpfulness of the owner, Rashid, in accommodating our late booking for the 3 nights we stayed at this comfortable and well kept condo. Loved the ocean view from the balcony. Just a few minutes' walk to great snorkeling and surfing spots. It's possible to walk to a small grocery and several restaurants. The two flights of stairs up to the condo weren't a problem for us, but may be a consideration for other travelers.

The perfect location

What a great location. Everything we needed was within walking distance. We had an ocean view with an air conditioned room. The lanai was huge. The suite had everything we needed. We had easy communication with the owner. The beach was really good and only a ten minute walk. We took advantage of the health club across the street as it was free with our stay. We loved the place and are looking at coming back next year.

Nice spot at KPR, nicely updated.

This property was everything the ad says it is. AC was a really nice addition. Really nice remodel and updated unit. Had all the necessities (minus a few spices for cooking, but that’s not a big deal). The host was awesome to communicate with. Very responsive to initial questions. Had to change dates on the front and had no issues at all. Don’t forget about cleaning fees in the units (while it should be obvious, it wasn’t to us. But the host clarified our concerns and I had no issues paying). The unit is very well kept! Above all, there is a beautiful view of the ocean from the back lanai.

Great condo, location, and host!

This was condo was just as advertised, excellent location across the street from shops, restaurants, a short nice walk to the beach. Nice view from the balcony. Quiet area, large balcony, nice space in the condo. The host was very responsive, answering any questions very quickly. Very nice to have a/c, as most condos I understand don't have this luxury. Not a complaint, just a suggestion for the future: to have condiments, etc. available. The host did supply small packets of salt, pepper, but it was just a small amount. Non-stick spray for example, etc would be nice in a condo where it is expected the guests will be cooking, as it's a shame to buy those types of things when staying only a few days. Again, just a suggestion for future guests. We had a great time and had peace of mind having a host that was so attentive and responsive.

Great property, mediocre host

The property is perfect. Great view of the ocean, very short walk to the gym across the street, and a very short walk to the beach. The lanai is fully covered (whereas some on the property are only 50% covered), and we really appreciated the shade. The unit is one of the few on site with AC, which makes a huge difference for sleeping at night and during the hottest parts of the day. The host is new, so communication overall was a struggle. I needed to contact multiple times to get check-in information. We changed our stay dates, well within the change window, and it was a struggle to get our money back from the host (we got back the nightly fee after a lot of back and forth but are still working on getting back the taxes). She then didn't update housekeeping of our new stay dates, so they cleaned the unit an extra time, which we would have needed to pay for had housekeeping not very kindly waived the fee for us. Other than that, the property is part of a larger resort and the onsite management was fully available for anything we needed.

Nous avons aimĂ© le site de Kihuanna plantation. Belle propriĂ©tĂ©. Le condo est bien Mais moins grand qu’anticipĂ©. Cependant, considĂ©rant le prix de la propriĂ©tĂ©, nous avons Ă©tĂ© déçus de devoir payer des frais de nettoyage additionnels de plus lors du check-out de 250$ pour seulement 3 jours. Le prix affichĂ© VRBO n’est donc pas le prix final payĂ©. C’est trompeur et ce fut une Mauvaise surprise lors de notre dĂ©part. Dommage.

5 star condo, beautiful condo, property, views and convenient location .

We were stuck for 5 days due to a cancelled flight. This condo was 5 star in cleanliness, beautiful garden and partial ocean view. Property is very well maintained with private beach (some of the best snorkeling we’ve seen), beach hut, snorkel gear, body board, sand toys, beach towels and onsite bbq /washer dryer access. Smart TV, cable,, kitchen and modern Needs for family. Felt very luxurious yet cozy. Sabrina is the best host and very attentive. Would definitely stay again next time we come back to Kauai to visit family in nearby city of Lihue..

The description is exactly what you get. Easy access to beach, laundry, and 10 minutes to shopping. Go to Costco or Safeway to save $$!

Beautiful Kauai stay!

The location was great! The beach adjacent to the property is one of the best! We were across the street from a shopping center with great shops and some delicious restaurants. We were led to believe from the VRBO map that our specific building and room was closer to the water but it was actually the furthest building from the water in the complex. It’s a 5 minute walk, but the grounds are beautiful and it wasn’t a big deal. The only real surprise were the true plantation shutters on the windows (this resort is “Kiahuna Plantation”) that don’t have glass and let in noise. There are wild chickens everywhere in Kauai and the roosters literally crow all through the night. We figured out how to run the fans to muffle the sound and sleep. Just plan to bring some ear plugs and turn on some white noise and you should be ok. Full kitchen facilities, and 2 boogie boards, 2 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas are provided in the unit, along with beach towel card for fresh towels at the beach. This is a very beautiful place and we would stay here again.
