Nice owner, slightly complicated check in, outdated building with complicated layout (hard to get in and out of the complex), but super close to the beach for sure. If you're on a budget and want to be close to the water, this is a good place.

Great experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great experience. Does feel more dated than we had expected, especially based on the title, but it worked! Had an internet issue and management was kind, empathetic, and responsive and resolved the issue quickly.

Pros: close to beach, secure parking, walking distance to amenities.Cons: no air conditioning, filthy carpet, no airflow, on beach access street so noisy from traffic, floor unlevel, musty smell, shower head remains on so can’t take a bath unless you want to have the shower spray you also.

BEWARE!!!!!! Do NOT go here if temps are over 75. There is NO AC. We went during a heat advisory and it was AWFUL. The entrance is an interior one so it is impossible to air out the unit. We were given ONE fan for the entire unit. We were told by the management company there should be minimally two. We asked for a fan at noon after a night of NO SLEEP since it was sweltering. NO ONE responded to our requests on the Vrbo site or directly texting the management company. At 7pm, after contacting VRBO directly and it escalating to management, the management company finally responded and told me we would have to wait until the next day between 10-12 for a fan or I could go to the store and buy one myself and send in a receipt. Huh??? NOT MY JOB. The icing on the cake is that they have a huge ant problem that they don’t let you know about until they send you all of their paperwork TWO days before the booking. My child had several ant bites. We left early and had to find a nearby hotel to sleep and then had to go home because we couldn’t afford to pay for an additional place to stay. HORRIBLE experience and ruined our vacation. :

My partner and I stayed at this beach condo for a weekend getaway and really enjoyed our visit. The beach is just a 3-minute walk away, and the location was excellent. We were close to several attractions, including Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch, South Carlsbad State Beach, LEGOLAND California Resort, and the main village area with plenty of coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants. We even got to enjoy a weekend night market, which was a fun bonus.The only two minor cons were that my allergies flared up while in the room, possibly due to some dust buildup, and the shower knob appears to be reversed, with cold set to hot and hot set to cold, which caught me off guard a couple of times.Those were very small issues in the bigger picture. The property is well maintained, the neighbors were friendly, the beach access is incredibly convenient, and the condo itself was clean and comfortable. We would happily stay again and would recommend it to other travelers.

Nice Getaway

Overall the accommodations were very nice. No air conditioning made it a challenge with the humid weather conditions but the supplied fans made it work. If we make it back to the Oceanside area we would stay here again.
