The house is beautifully decorated, super clean, and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer! Just a few steps to an amazing ocean view! Would definitely stay here again.

This place was very open, light, and had great accommodations. The view of the ocean was wonderful! Please note that there is no air conditioning and the house got REALLY WARM throughout the day (temp in the house was 86-88 degrees). The bedrooms were very nice, but the beds were VERY uncomfortable (coming from someone who is not very picky). However, we did enjoy our stay there very much! We especially loved the outside space where we ate our meals.

Mahalo for your review - we are so sorry about the heat! This summer has been so much hotter than usual. I've been here 22 years and there's only one other summer that had temps like this. We haven't heard from any other guests about the beds being uncomfortable, but we will pass that on to the home owner so she has it on record. We are glad that you still enjoyed our visit, and we'd love to host you again at any of our Big Island or Kauai properties! Relaxing retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Moana Imaku. The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. I had overlooked the fact that there is no AC in this house. The plentiful fans did a good job of keeping us cool, for the most part. We kept the bedroom windows open at night for the air flow, but this also allowed the sound of frogs, etc., to sing us to sleep. That required a bit of adjustment. Aside from that, the lanai was wonderful. We ate every meal out there and enjoyed the view. There is a view of the ocean and you can hear the waves crashing, but there is no beach access in this area. There is a park across the street that was another place to walk and relax. Be sure to drive down the Old Government Beach Road.

We had an amazing stay at Moana Imaku—everything was absolutely perfect. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. One of our favorite parts was how close it was to the ocean. Being able to hear the waves all night long made it incredibly relaxing and peaceful. We truly loved our time here and would definitely stay again.

The kitchen was equipped with everything to make meals so that was very nice. The patio had a beautiful ocean view, very peaceful and relaxing. The neighborhood is quite so that's a plus.

Awesome location with all you need.

The property was very clean, kitchen stocked with everything you need. The porch is awesome. It has a great view and always had a breeze. Would stay here again for sure. The mermaid ponds are right down the street!

Loved being in this wonderful home.

There were 4 of us loving sitting on the lanai rain or shine listening to the coquis at night. I cannot imagine a more welcoming, comfortable or charming place to stay. I will be back if I can.

Beautiful property

The location is perfect if you want a quiet, peaceful vacation. Shopping and restaurants are a 15 minute drive. The Lanai was a gem!!! I appreciated all of the amenities for handicapped visitor, with easy access to the house (ramp) and the shower.
