Hale O Makani, nomm�� d'après la petite-fille du propri��taire se trouve parfaitement sur son acre paysager privé avec une grande cour gazonnée tout simplement parfait pour ceux barbecues en plein air et beaucoup d'espace pour les enfants à jouer. Makani en hawa��en signifie aussi "douce brise" et vous sera certainement capturer ces brises de l'océan Hawaiian phénoménale à travers les portes françaises qui ouvrent de la grande ouverte salon / cuisine. Hale O Makani confortablement jusqu'�� 6 personnes avec un lit queen dans le ma��tre, lit queen dans la 2ème chambre et 2 lits jumeaux dans la 3ème chambre. La chambre principale a ses propres grandes portes de salle de bain priv��e et français qui vont droit dehors sur la cour arrière panoramique. Le hale a également toutes les commodités modernes que vous voulez dans une maison de location de vacances, y compris la télévision par câble, Internet haute vitesse, laveuse / sécheuse et un parking couvert.

Incredible stay

We absolutely loved our stay. The accomodation was the most well equipped rental we have stayed in having everything we could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable as was the sofa and arm chairs. The rental agency were fantastic and easy to contact when we couldnt figure out how to turn the showers on (pull the tap down) and came and provided us with emergy water and torches and checked on us before the storm to make sure we had everythinv we need. 5** from us. Thanks

Very Nice Stay

We (two families) stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was in a very quiet community. We loved it the first sight we went in: lovely Hawaiian decor, even the music was on. It had everything we need, looked very clean/new and well maintained. It had fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, plentyof towels and sheets in closets. Kids found board games they enjoyed every evenings. We spent our days exploring, retired to our spacious and comfortable house relaxing. Hilo was beautiful and only short drive away, nearby Lava Tree, Kapoho Tidepools were fabulous. If you're adventurous like we are, you can hike to see flowing lava. Should have stayed here longer, love to come back again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice stay at Hale O Makani. Walking in the door it was immediately clear that the home is well taken care of and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The only drawback is that there is no dishwasher, which we did know ahead of time. There was no need for us to buy water, as the water from the tap tasted good. The home felt very spacious. The primary bedroom was huge. I have to say that the bed was very comfortable. Normally, I find that beds in rental homes are very hard. This bed was just right. My daughter, who stayed in one of the other bedrooms, agrees. The breezes cooled the house nicely. After being away during the day, the house was warm from being closed up, but in a matter of minutes, it cooled down because of the cross-breezes. The lack of air conditioning was not an issue. The property was beautiful. It’s on a low traffic street, which was nice. I would definitely stay there again when visiting the Hilo area. Mahalo to the property managers, who were responsive to our questions.

Clean and Comfortable House !!BEWARE OF CAMERAS!!

We went down for a funeral and had to book something last minute and quick. This house had everything we needed and felt very homey.Me and my family stayed from 4/5-4/12/22. After I booked the house I had not read about all the cameras that were installed until scrolling through the description and comments but was to late. Im the type of person that likes my privacy but understand that the owner of the house is just being safe. If I knew about the cameras before, I would not haved booked at all to be honest. But If you dont mind cameras watching you then I recommend this place.

Bad rental property.

Quiet and Comfortable

The home was very nice and comfortable. The kitchen has everything needed to make family meals. Plenty of towels, etc. However, there are several outdoor security cameras that were not disclosed ahead of time. One of which was pointed directly at the back (otherwise private) patio. For those who value their privacy, Beware!

Great time in HPP

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect. Super clean and all the amenities of home. Nice outside patio with a fabulous yard filled with gingers, gardenias, plumerias, avocados and even a very healthy pineapple plant.The only issues (& they were minor, but worth noting) is they catch their own water so it was a bit smelly when we 1st got there (subsided as the pipes cleared out). It really isn't suitable to drink either and there was no mention of this and I only knew because I have relatives in the area so we were prepared and bought bottled water. I suggest they let their clients know so they can be ready for it. Wifi was a little patchy and AT&T service is almost non-existent. Last thing is there's no trash pickup so if your trash is full you need to take it to the nearby transfer station. Like I said these were minor. The house and yard are fabulous and I'd stay there again in a second. I loved the Coqui frogs and all the lizards.

Hale O Makani winter 2017

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful winter with Hale O Makani as our home base in 2017! We found the house very welcoming, clean, convenient and comfortable. We liked the layout with the 3 bedrooms, laundry room and large master bathroom. The location was perfect: a short drive up to the highway and only 10 minutes down to the cliffs. The property was lovely in the front but needs some attention in the back. Management, namely Jeana, was very pleasant and helpful. She saw quickly to some repairs that needed to be done and even saw that we got some lounge chairs for the back yard. That made a big difference for us as we were able to relax outside at home and read all our books on the history of the islands and listen to the birds. As we have been to the island many times before we didn't have to be sightseeing every day and loved to relax at the house. A couple of things that could be improved: the master bed was way too soft for us (the middle bed was great), the futon couch is uncomfortable to sit on, the swivel chair is tilted (probably a broken spring), a bigger Smart TV would be better in the livingroom, and the walkway and patio need sprucing up. These were all minor problems for us (except the master bed) and did not impact on our stay at Hale O Makani. Aloha and Mahalo Jeana and the Hawaii Life team.

All you could expect in paradise.

Ideal location

Hale O Makani was very clean, quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped, and the living areas and bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. It was centrally located; we particularly enjoyed The Volcano National Park, the drive along the Red Road and the Kapoho tide pools.
