Escape to Uli Kai, a private 4-bedroom, 3-bath rainforest retreat on the Big Island’s east side. Located in Hawaiian Paradise Park, this home is designed for respectful families and quiet groups who want space, nature, privacy, and a more authentic Hawaiʻi experience.
The home offers a full kitchen, washer and dryer, multiple living areas, an upstairs/downstairs layout, and room to relax after exploring Hilo, Pāhoa, Volcano, waterfalls, beaches, and the coastline. Large windows frame tropical surroundings with peekaboo ocean views, creating a calm, open atmosphere away from busy resort areas.
Enjoy the private pool and hot tub, dine outdoors on the lanai, and unwind in a peaceful residential setting just one block from dramatic coastal cliffs.
Important to know before booking:
• The home does not have air conditioning. Ceiling fans and screened windows provide airflow, but guests who prefer air conditioning or very cool indoor temperatures may be more comfortable in an AC-equipped property..
• As with most homes in tropical environments, occasional insects, humidity, and changing weather conditions are part of the natural setting
• The home operates on a solar power system without backup batteries, so large appliances (laundry, dishwasher, etc.) should be used during daylight hours.
• Water is supplied by a filtered well system, and plumbing is sensitive—please flush only toilet paper.
• The pool and spa are for guest enjoyment; children must be supervised at all times.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, spacious home where your group can relax, reconnect, and experience a more natural, authentic side of Hawaiʻi, Uli Kai is an excellent fit.
