This open floor plan home with great views is ready to be your home away from home during your stay. Enjoy the abundance of natural light that seeps in through the many windows in this home. Recline on the sectional and catch up on your favorite shows on the TV. When the group gets hungry, cook together in the well-appointed kitchen sparkling with stainless steel appliances. There’s plenty of prep space for making big meals, as well as handy kitchen gadgets for a quick bite to eat. Outside, catch some views and fresh air on one of two decks.

Very clean and comfortable!

Quiet neighborhood, house was clean. Very convenient to stores and right across from a pizza joint. Excellent coffee shop within walking distance. Straight shot down the road to beach access. We all enjoyed our stay very much!!!!

Perfect, Quiet location

My MIL, FIL, husband, 2 boys and myself stayed for 4 nights. We had a great time! The house is walking distance to a little pizza/grill where we had dinner one night. Right up the road is the cutest coffee/ice cream shop (Higher Grounds) where we spent a rainy afternoon sipping on yummy coffee while the kids explored their grounds. The beach was a 5 minute drive away, 25 minutes to get to the water park, and we were right down the road from The Wright Brother's Museum. The house supplies a generous amount of towels and clean linens. There is a keurig and full size coffee pot in the kitchen, as well as labeled cabinets and drawers of all the things needed for cooking full meals (plenty of Tupperware, too!). They supply a paper towel roll, several toilet paper rolls, a sponge, dish soap, dishwasher cleaner, and plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The neighborhood is quiet and with no traffic, my kids were able to ride their bikes up and down the street with no worries. The beds were comfortable but I would recommend bringing your own pillow. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. Would recommend!

Perfect Vacation Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and looked brand new. Great location, and cute neighborhood. Easy check in/ check out experience. Smart TVs for steaming, the decks came with furniture which we enjoyed relaxing out there. Plenty of space and kitchen came with everything you would ever need! 10/10 would stay here again.

Amazing house!!

This house was so perfect! I was so impressed with how well stocked this house was and how clean it was! Also, I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old and the house was toddler friendly. Plenty of towels, a high chair, kid stools for the sinks, child dishes, kitchen fully stocked, etc. Will definitely book again. Thank you so much!

Great option for OBX.

The house was great. Perfect for our group. TVs in 2 of the rooms we couldnt get to work bur didnt care because we were on vacation. We didnt complain just didnt use them. Location was awesome except for right by the semi busy street. Overall great stay in a great house.

Nice stay in Kill Devil Hills

House looks brand new and was very clean and pretty. Only improvements I would suggest is the comfort of the furnishings. The mattresses and sofa were very uncomfortable. With such a nice new home with a lot of great features, it would be better to invest in higher quality furniture.

Fishing trip with friends

Overall it was a great time. Place was clean and nice. Drawbacks were the hot tub was empty and the water for the outside shower and hose bibs was apparently turned off. We were concerned about tracking sand from the beach all over the house. The upstairs bedroom light had a loose connection. But since our entire party was electricians it was not a big deal. ... we did have one neighbor who took photos of our party as we were dropping off some very very expensive fishing gear before going out to eat. . But overall we would definitely recommend it.

Pricey

Paid $2400 for 5 days. Multiple dining chairs were broken, previous renter streaming accounts hadn't been logged out of the TVs, bed headboard had mysterious stains on it. Carport has access to an interior set of stairs, but access is restricted by a deadbolt which you can only unlock from the inside as no key was provided. Gas grill is damaged. Showers have huge heads but no pressure. Received at least 3 different sets of instructions for checkout procedures. House is a 10 minute ride from the main strip, which you have to cross over to get to the beach. Would not rent again, due to location and other issues noted. House was nice overall, but if we hadn't had friends with us, we would have rented a hotel right on the beach instead, especially as hotels have fewer check out tasks to perform.

Awesome house.

Enjoyed our stay in what seemed like a new house. It was very clean and well appointed. The only cons were that the beds and sofa were very uncomfortable. Also couldn’t get the screen door to the upstairs deck unlocked. I would stay there again if the beds and sofa were more comfortable.

Obx sweet 16 getaway !

We absolutely loved our stay ! We didn’t want to leave ! The house was immaculate , we had everything needed for our stay ! They even provided beach chairs and toys ! The location was within a couple minutes from the strip and beaches ! I would high recommend and we will definitely be booking again ! Thanks for unforgettable memories for my Girls bday celebration !!!!!!!!

Great Stay - Some Suggestions

First, the house was great and clean upon arrival. As shown through VRBO and overall we very much enjoyed our stay. We’re regulars to the OBX and had to find a place on short notice. We were very impressed with this home and thankful to find it. Giving 4 stars for a couple of reasons: we had messaged Vacasa upon arrival through the app regarding a couple of things and never received a response. Not a big deal but makes me wonder if there would have a been a major issue… The house is great and as shown - but a couple of suggestions - there was no broom/dust pan or vacuum provided. (Several other dish/laundry cleaning items provided which was great) We like to clean regularly, especially with the sand so we ended up buying a cheap one to use while there. The outdoor shower wasn’t working so that was a bummer. The furnishings were nice but limited in the living room area. With a family of 4 it was a little crowded for us all to watch a movie together. Some additional seating would be great. One thing to note - and completely out of anyone’s control: the house is tucked back in Colington Island and there is only one way in/out. There is extensive road construction being done which will be great when it’s complete, but makes it difficult getting in and out at times (there is a lot of traffic). I work in construction so love to see the upgrades happening, just something to be aware of if you’re planning a stay. Overall the house was great and will definitely be on our VRBO board for future stays.
