Featuring bright, coastal tones and décor, the interior offers an open layout for gathering with friends and family. The living area offers sofa seating, a cozy electric fireplace, and cable TV. A partially separated seating area comes equipped with a dedicated desk, perfect for remote work needs. The full kitchen comes updated with a gorgeous backsplash, counters and stainless steel appliances so you can plan at-home meals for your stay. There's breakfast bar seating for two and an indoor dining table set for six. You can also enjoy meals al fresco, at the four-seater dining table on the balcony.

Both bedrooms offer direct balcony access for guest convenience.

Not Recommended

This unit needs attention. The kitchen cabinets are smeared with dirt, the kitchen utensils and cookware are low quality and old. There was a single large knife that was very dull. The unit was reasonably clean, but still found dead bugs and debris on the floor. The master closet smelled like a dog kennel and was unusable. The sink in the master bath had only a trickle of water pressure. And the shower in the other bathroom, the temperature adjustment lever was impossible to adjust. Why a 9 digit code for the door lock? Excessively long and inconvenient. We probably won't rent a property owned or managed by Vacasa again.

Do better with cleaning.

First on the way to the unit I do the verification and it denied me for whatever reason. I had to call and be on hold forever but finally fixed it. Then get to the unit and the bathrooms were very very dirty. the whole place smelt really bad. I’ve stayed near the beach before plenty of times this was worse. I went to buy products to clean the bathrooms myself because I can’t shower in a dirty bathroom.

Beautiful and cozy condo

The condo was just as advertised and pictures were spot on. It had an amazing balcony and roomy bedrooms. We had trouble with the tv’s and could only get one to work. Not a big deal for us but with kids it might be a problem. I messaged the number for customer service and got what appeared to be an AI response. I didn’t get any help or instruction on how to get the tv’s to work and when I stated that we would just go without tv there was no apology or attempt to fix the problem. There was also an issue with the water temperature in the showers. It went from cold to very hot and it was difficult to get anything in between. Both were minor problems for our weekend getaway but I’ve seen many other reviews with similar problems and they have not been addressed. Overall it was a lovely place to spend a weekend and we enjoyed it very much.

Great place for a beach getaway.

The Islander was perfect for a couples getaway weekend for four. The unit was clean and well furnished. The beds were comfortable and the separate doors from each bedroom to the deck were awesome. After a day at the beach the outdoor shower was a great touch to wash off sand. The pool and hot tub although dated were clean and well maintained. I look forward to renting this unit again when we return to the island.

off-season at Mustang Island Beach Club

This was our first time at the Beach Club location. Overall we enjoyed it very much. Easy to get to and from and a very nice deck overlooking the pool area. Despite the rain showers we were able to sit outside and enjoy the breeze. Inside it had very nice comfortable beachy decor, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with plenty of towels. We also appreciated the washer/dryer and the many pool towels that were provided (tho we brought our own). We only had breakfast/lunch at the condo so we didn't need much in the kitchen. [Glad we brought our own kitchen towels along with a box of coffee fixings.] On the down side was the long walk to the boardwalk-beach access. Because of the rain, flooding and mosquitoes we could not make it to the boardwalk. There was a pond in front. We later learned that there is no ramp - just stairs. It was too far for this senior duo. We chose to get in the car and drive to a beach access road just 2 miles away. One other problem that we encountered and which we shared via text to Vacasa were the roaches. Tiny, yes. But found in 3 rooms. Suggested that they get the pest control out there soon.

Very cute and well maintained!!

This condo was very nice and well stocked with all of your needs for cooking and even had pool towels. It’s a smaller community which was great! So it was less crowded than others surrounding. The pool was nice in evening after the beach. The back patio was a great place for our entire family to sit out and enjoy. Would highly recommend this place for your beach stay! We will be back!

Cute beach home

This is our second stay at this condo and we enjoy it here. The first time it was just my husband and I, this time our daughter, her husband and our 3 year old granddaughter came with us and they enjoyed it as much as we do. We wished there was a little better access to the beach it was rough getting everything down without ramps. There is only stairs at beginning of boardwalk and no way for us to rent a golf cart and get on the beach. The access road to the boardwalk really could use some trimming back it’s so bushy and very bumpy but I love that there is access to the beach regardless. This time of year the mosquitos were eating us up alive, could not walk down to the boardwalk on that access road without being eaten alive so either have to be covered in mosquito spray or drive down and hurry and get to the beach. We had some minor issues, no instructions to lock the door when leaving for a bit and had to call to figure that out. Temperature in shower in guest bathroom broke and couldn’t adjust the temperature and was scolding hot. Noticed small roaches in both bathrooms and in kitchen area, not over running but definitely more than we would like to see. Loved the pool area, it’s small and shared but everyone was respectful and even the young group that liked to gather there at night were out at the times scheduled to be out without any trouble. All appliances worked just fine and the place had plenty of cooking pots and pans and utensils. Lots of plates and cups to use so we never had issues there. It is pet friendly and we did bring our fur baby and it was nice to have him with us to take down to the beach. My husband and I brought him with us the first time we came here and we had only had him a few days he was such a little guy then only a few months old now a year and a half and adapted well in the home and the area. Love that there is supplies to clean up after your pets outside and it seemed most people abided by the cleaning rules. I would give this place a 5 star if the beach access was a little family friendly where you could get things to the beach easier. When it’s just two it’s easy but having a grand kid that needs coverage and lots to do and snacks hard to get all that down there and back. The condo itself was comfortable and like home away from home.

Stay at Mustang Beach Club

Location, didn’t mind the distance between town and the condo. Loved the private access to the beach. Loved this was a small complex and pool and hot tub were great size. Nice amenities in the clubhouse. The size of the unit was great. Lots of utensils for cooking.

Cute condo but off the beaten path…

Cute place with a beach feel. King bed is comfy but guest room bed is terrible The pool hours are clearly posted and every night there were people partying by the pool right outside our window until 5-6am. No one on site to monitor rules. TVs and wifi didn’t work but we stayed gone most of the day. Our main complaint is that it was never stated at booking that we couldn’t have golf cart on site. We go to port aransas a lot and have never been without a cart to get around. If we had known we wouldn’t have booked. We ended up going to Cinnamon shores each day for better beach access. Overall the house was cute and clean but we had a giant cockroach under the fridge who came out at night to greet us we made the best of our time but will never stay at this property again. I highly recommend staying closer to town so you can get around on the beach and town in a golf cart.

The Islander

Cute spot. The heated pool and hot tub were fantastic- very warm! Very quiet, relaxing spot. The apartment was very clean and decorated well. Had everything we needed for our beach stay!

Wonderful, large covered balcony with convenient access to the beach

The covered porch really enhanced our stay and it is where we ate all of our meals and spent most of our time when not on the beach. The ambiance and decor of the interior condo produced a very relaxing and aesthetic vibe, and the master bed and living room furniture were very comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were a bit dated, but more than adequate for our purposes. They provided ample towels for both pool and bath. There is even a washer and dryer with supplied detergent. While the building complex is set back from the beach (we did miss hearing the surf) we had a nice, unobstructed view of the dunes from our balcony. The beach was easy to access with either a little private walk or you could drive and park at their boardwalk entrance to the beach. (But watch out for the last step from the boardwalk onto the beach sand; it needs a repair.) The complex had a nice activity room with air hockey, pool, and ping pong tables. The pool area was attractive with a nice hot tub. Our family enjoyed these amenities very much. Our only complaint was that there was some construction going at the complex which was not noted in the listing when we booked our trip. We reached out to Vacasa, and they said that they weren’t made aware of any scheduled construction either. Fortunately, the construction team tried to be very considerate about the noise and activity around the complex, so it wasn’t as bad as I originally expected. Overall, it was a great experience, and we plan to book again in the future.
