Tejas Angler Retreat in Aransas Pass is one of the most comfortable and fully equipped vacation rentals in the Coastal Bend. Conveniently located only minutes from Redfish Bay, the best flats fishing in Texas - accessible from Conn Brown Harbor or the wonderful, hidden Navigation District boat ramp just two blocks away. Only a short golf cart ride and you’ll find fantastic seafood restaurants, breakfast tacos for those early fishing mornings, or the HEB at the end of the street if you choose to cook in the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy a drink or the coastal breeze on the old school boardwalk porch, or barbecue under the covered back patio. You’ll have plenty of parking for all of your guests, as well as your boat, kayaks, toy hauler or golf cart on this spacious lot. Come find your happy place.

Other nearby attractions include the Lighthouse Lakes Paddling Trail, great shore fishing at several public piers and the causeway along the Aransas Channel. You can make the 15-minute drive to Rockport and of course you’re just a hop, skip and a ferry ride from the beaches, jetties, shopping, dining and everything else Port Aransas has to offer. Formerly listed as the Happy Hour House on Redfish Bay.

Wonderful stay

I had a great time here with my family. I BBQ and went to the beach with my friends and family. Beds were comfortable and the place was quiet.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's a nice little house. Comes in as advertised. We had an issue with the management company and a broken hot water heater. they did what was right - gave us a refund.

Sufficient lodging

The rental property was a good value. When we thought there was an issue with the a/c the management had someone come out very quickly. Our 2 major issues were there wasn’t enough frying pans for eggs and bacon. The glass frying pans didn’t work well and neither did the soft silicone pancake turner because it was too flexible. There were only three coffee mugs. The other issue was the grass needed to be cut. The mosquitoes were very bad in the whole area because of a lot of recent rain, but having the grass so long only contributed to the mosquito issue in the yard.

Great Place to Stay!

This property has a great location in Aransas Pass! It was super to easy to navigate to Port Aransas and with in the neighborhood. The place was clean and had plenty of kitchen items. Overall would recommend staying here!

Very nice , wall plug in bathroom does not work , I realize you cant fix it if you don't know about it , bottom of freezer looks like something was thawed out . It wasn't us! lol I really enjoy staying there when we go fishing . We plan an oct trip and I am trying to talk my wife into a kayak trip for a day. Thanks

My wife booked this place for my two best friends and myself. We fish with a guide in Port A every year. This was by far the best place she has found. We plan to book there again and again. Highly recommend this place.

Absolute Delight

We had an excellent time at this property! It exceeded all of our expectations and we were very comfortable there. It's so convenient to the grocery store, it's 5 minutes to the ferry landing, there's places to eat. We came down for a fishing weekend and we will definitely be back!!

Nice vacation rental

We were in town for a tournament at this was the perfect spot for keeping our boat safe and being able to back in and charge the batteries. Beds were very comfortable and the home was beautifully decorated. Very close to all the boat ramps.

Fishing Trip

The property was supplied with more towels, linens, kitchen utensils etc. than any others I have stayed in before! The backyard patio was great! Just be careful in the very slippery tub when taking a shower! The shower mat is kept under the bathroom sink
