We would love for you and your loved ones to stay and experience first-hand our beautiful property and its unique location. Our home features an open, airy, bright floorplan with plenty of space for a family gathering as well as privacy, when needed.

Our 4-bedroom 2.5 bath, 2,200 sq ft home is nestled on a private Colorado mountainside with 40 acres bordering up to 1,000 acres of protected US forests.

The home features an inviting fireplace; fun as well as relaxing outdoor amenities – front and back decks with a large grill, basketball hoop, cornhole game, as well as an abundance of indoor games. You can prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen, with cooking essentials such as blender, food processer, toaster, coffee maker and French press, slow cooker, ice maker, microwave, spices, coffee and much more.

Your party will enjoy the entire Royal Gorge Region because it offers the perfect combination of outdoor adventure, rich history, and small-town hospitality. The property is located minutes from the Royal Gorge Region, 8 Mile Area, and the Dinosaur Museum.

The quaint town of Canon City is just 15 minutes away and offers the opportunity to stroll through an Old West feel “main street” while you shop and take an opportunity to eat at the local restaurants.

Enjoy a Fall or Winter vacation, the natural beauty of the seasons in this region should not be missed. The golden leaves of the Aspen trees in the Fall are a spectacular sight. Our vacation home is closely located to Monarch (1hr 15min) and Breckenridge (1hr 45min) Ski Resorts making it a desirable area to take advantage of winter activities. Cripple Creek, Salida, Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs and Pikes Peak are also in close proximately to the house, and each offer their own unique experiences and treasures.

Additional activities you will find nearby are horseback riding, fishing, hiking, zip lining and golf.

From the front deck there is a spectacular view of Pikes Peak, a perfect spot to end your day of leisure or adventure with a quiet and peaceful space to relax.

If you are escaping the hustle and bustle, you will be delighted by what the night sky has to offer – endless stars with no overbearing city lights to dim their brilliance.

This property is amazing!

Beautiful location and views in the mountains! Cabin was spacious, spotless, and stocked with everything you can think of to enjoy a wonderful vacation away from home. We will be back!!

Breathtaking views

The property was breathtaking, and so unique settled right in the side of a mountain. The house was spotless, well kept and beautifully furnished. The owners suggested I stop in Canon City on my way for groceries/supplies, and this was a very useful trip as the town is a 15 minute drive from the property. One delightful surprise was seeing and feeding the hummingbirds! The owners had hung feeders and left instructions on how to replenish the feeders. This was such a treat I hadn't experienced before. I will definitely be back to stay at this lovely home, and I would highly recommend it for your destination vacation as well.

Great Mountain Retreat

Very clean. Comfortable beds. Thirsty towels. Excellently appointed kitchen. Beautiful views. Nicely furnished. Technology was great, WiFi, TV, etc. Owner very responsive to all requests before and during our visit. Without a doubt would book again.

Nice Weekend Getaway

The property was very clean and organized, and offered a very quiet weekend getaway for 3 couples visiting the Royal Gorge region. The location was a as described, and a bit from town, but really wasn't a problem for us. We very much enjoyed ourselves and would stay there again if we were to spend more time in the region..

Great Colorado Cabin

Our family really enjoyed our stay in the Canon City area. The cabin was great. It has everything you need. The cabin is in a great area with scenic views. Great location away from town and so peacefully quiet. We would definitely stay again.

A bucket list mountain retreat for the whole family with spectacular views.

This property was unbelievable. Every possible amenity that you need was provided in this mountain home with a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley below. It’s just a short drive to the Royal Gorge and all of the activities you will want to do, or just sit on the porch and look at the view and the hummingbirds. Our family loved every minute of our stay in this lovely home.

Very serene location

Lovely home with plenty of room for our entire family of adults, a teen and tweens. Sunrises are magnificent from the master bedroom. Communication with the property owner was prompt—very reliable.

Awesome house with spectacular view.

Exceeded all expectations! Very clean roomy house with amazing views. Perfect getaway from city. We lost internet the second day at the house. The very next day owner sent someone to correct the issue. Very attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend this place!

Beautiful views

I really hate to say too much good about this property because I’m afraid so many people will want to stay here that the next time I want to rent it won’t be available!! Seriously, this was a wonderful experience. The setting of the property was fantastic. The views were amazing. The property was clean, well stocked and the property owners were very helpful and quick to respond to questions about the property and the area attractions. We would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful home! Spectacular view!

This home is beautiful with all the amenities! We could have sat on the porch all day enjoying the view of the valley and Pikes Peak in the distance but with all the opportunities to hike and raft the Arkansas River we were constantly adventuring!

Nice house with a great view

Well maintained and stocked house. A bit out of town (around 15-20 minutes but quiet, spacious, and a great view off the back porch. Our group (two couples traveling together) loved it. Owners are very responsive; unit is well set up.
