Belle retraite de 17 acres au sommet d'une montagne. 4 acres de terrain boisé et 13 acres de champs de gazon pour jouer au football, au soccer, au baseball et à de nombreux sentiers pédestres. Vues à couper le souffle, piscine privée chauffée au sol avec plage de sable blanc. Vous serez sûr de profiter des vues. Aussi pour votre plaisir, il y a une balançoire, une fosse en fer à cheval et un foyer extérieur pour rôtir les guimauves près du feu de camp. Les terrains sont entièrement éclairés pour une utilisation nocturne. À l'automne, vous avez une vue panoramique sur le feuillage, la nature en randonnée par la porte arrière et une excellente période de l'année pour le foyer extérieur. Cette propriété est également une grande retraite d'hiver avec sliegh à cheval dans la cour arrière et une belle cheminée à bois pour s'asseoir. C'est vraiment une maison 4 saisons pour en profiter. Cette maison est située à seulement 5 min du lac Wallenpaupack, du zoo de Claws and Paws et à 25 min. au mont. Airy Casino, The Crossings Outlet shopping, Camel back ski & Beach et les nouvelles aventures Tree top et Tyroliennes; les jours d'enregistrement sont les vendredis uniquement de 12 à 4

Charming cottage: endless possibilities

Great place if you want to enjoy nature with modern amenities. Morning, afternoon evening landscape views. Great property to enjoy a walk and explore. Abundant wildlife to see most times of the day. Excellent swimming pool to relax in. Highly recommend this great property.

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful property with lots to do, but we enjoyed just taking in the view and wandering the trails. The house was stocked with everything we needed and was very comfortable and enjoyable even with bad weather.

Amazing outdoor space, but wouldn’t book again

The outdoor space is amazing. The pool is beautiful, with seating and a sandy “beach” area. Overall, we loved the outside. But, here’s what I wish I knew before: 1 - The house is not especially clean. I was disappointed with the dust and cobwebs in corners, on light fixtures, etc. Beware arachnophobes - this house has quite a few spiders. I know country living comes with bugs, but these ones were in webs (inside and out) that had clearly been there quite a while. The downstairs bathroom also had an odor, as did the dining area, particularly when the AC was switched off. For the price point, I expected better. 2 - The stairs are steep, and the banister feels loose. There’s also a gap between the railing and wall at the top which a small child/dog could fall through. There is a safety gate, though I don't think it could block the stairway and that strange gap. The hallway banister also feels loose and low. 3 - The property is big, but there are houses close on both sides. Not a deal-breaker, but I expected more seclusion. 4 - You might have to deal with a surprise pool cleaning. We were enjoying the pool one afternoon when a pool service arrived. We thought there was a mistake, but after messaging Eileen, we learned it wasn’t. It seemed entirely bizarre to me, but apparently she can’t anticipate when they’ll show up. Any sort of heads-up on this from Eileen would’ve been nice. Overall, the pool is great (when it’s not being serviced), but we wouldn’t go back.

Unforgettable Memories+

It’s one of our summer trips with our two year old daughter and her pawsisters and we absolutely loved it! Perfect Disconnect

My wife and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. The pool was great, the abundant land, trails and mountain views beautiful and the cottage extremely cozy, well appointed and clean. I also loved having the gas grill available for daily cooking outside. We also appreciated the owner’s warm welcome for our two well-behaved Himalayan cats, who also enjoyed the cottage. Very private and very quiet location. We would definitely come again. Our hosts were extremely responsive in answering all questions. Thanks, Gunther and Eileen.

Mountain Top Cottage

The outside property was beautiful. The pool was lovely. The cottage is Shabby Chic Rustic with modern amenities. The negatives were the banister going up the stairs was loose and the upstairs railing seemed short to me. The owners were quick to respond to questions. It was a restful time.

Beautiful cottage

This is a beautiful site to stay. The surrou ding fids a trails make for fun wandering. The heated pool is Fantastic. It is a short ride to some of the Lake Wallenpaupack marinas and parks and a little over 20 mi s to the Lake W beach and visitos cwnter with lots of guidance to enjoy the area. But hanging in the backyard was a dream too.

Awesome view wonderful pool

It’s a great property the views were gorgeous a lot of land to play ball or frisbee.We played horse shoe it was great this place is great for an active family and for those who want to lounge around the pool it’s also great and wonderful temperature.The trail path is a wonderful walk with beautiful views. Rabbits, frogs and deer we saw it all and it haf a great time.

Private and perfect

Having the pool and a private beautiful yard was literally the most relaxing vacation ever. Ac units worked really well. The trials out back were beautiful and peaceful to walk. This is in the woods and yes there are spiders and bugs but I brought a repellent spray and that really helped keep them at bay. Will definitely want to come back

Beautiful Views!

The pictures really don’t do the views from Mountain Top Cottage justice. The area is peaceful and quiet. My family enjoyed the heated pool and the fire pit for making s’mores. It kept three teenage girls entertained for a week. Thank you for having us. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful Time at This Cottage

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. The cottage was beautiful and cozy, everything was very clean, and everything was exactly as listed/pictured. The property manager was helpful and easy to get a hold of. Overall it was the perfect relaxing getaway, and we are very happy with our stay.

Our Stay

We had a very relaxing stay. It is very quiet, has a wonderful view, has practically everything needed. Do any major supplies shopping before you come, as you will be at least 30 minutes from any major shopping area. The potential downsides to be aware of: the master bedroom mattress is a bit lumpy, the AC consists of window units that aren’t sealed as tight as they could be, leading to a variety of insects in the upstairs rooms at night, and with a large wall of windows facing South in the living room, it gets quite hot in the summer. The AC can’t always keep up. However these downsides are very small compared with all the positives. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the woods, the lack of noise, the peace, the available grill. We would gladly rent again, though one of my kids has an insect phobia which may prevent it. It has a stacked washer and dryer which work well. Very relaxing vacation overall. Very happy we rented this location, it more than met our expectations, and lived up to the good reviews and descriptions online.

Wonderful birthday weekend

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Mountain Top Cottage. The cottage itself is lovely, and then you top it off with the gorgeous property. On the night we arrived there was a double rainbow over the distant mountains, which started things off on an amazing tone. We then thoroughly enjoyed the pool, trails through the meadows (with all the abundant butterflies, birds and other wildlife -- even the group of turkeys), and the fire pit area. What a great way to get away and enjoy time with the family. It was a perfect celebration for my daughter's 11th birthday.

So peaceful and beautiful

Yes, it was peaceful and beautiful and also a lot of fun. We were 4 adults but it was obvious that a small family with young children would have a blast. When you walk around to the back of the house passing the gazebo you will be greeted by a spectacular view of fields, trees and mountains. For me walking through the expansive fields of wildflowers by way of numerous wide trails mowed through them was how I started and ended my day. This city girl could not get enough of the birds, flowers and other small wildlife. One day I accidentally startled a turkey that in turn scared me as it flew off into the trees beyond. The pool was refreshing and my husband, a former boy scout, loved building a fire in the fire pit nightly. The house was just the right size for the 4 of us and very comfortable as well as pretty. The linens and towels are pristine white which I love. The furniture is of good quality and the beds were very comfy. The owners were easily reached to answer questions. We were made to feel very welcome and we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful views and restful property

Our family had a great time at this property. It was beautiful and the view is just breathtaking. The pool area was lovely, just a note that if you do bring a dog they are not allowed in the pool area. Thankfully they had a tether our dog to go on to sit right by the pool entrance. As he doesn’t like being away from us. Overall the property more than that our needs and everything was great.This is a well loved house and rustic. We had a lot of fun walking the grounds and spent most of our time outside the house. Be careful of texts we pulled many of our dog and our kids each night. Is the price you pay for being in the country. Overall a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Mountain Cabin Getaway from NYC

Our group of friends had a great time at this cabin. The property is massive with beautiful views, and the private pool was a lifesaver in the heat. The owners were super accomodating and brought up some pool furniture cushions and even helped us hook up an AC unit during this change of season. We enjoyed the fire pits at night and exploring the property during the day. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We purchased this house for a summer home as a young family starting out in 2001. We have since had 3 children and are so happy with the amount of amazing memories we have made. Getting the kids back to nature and away from technology gadgets as much as possible has kept them grounded. Now much older and with very busy extra curricular activities through out the school year and even into summer we find were not able to use the house as much as we would like to. Therefore, we found VRBO to be a great alternative to utilize it & to be able to afford others the same experiences. We know your family will enjoy your time spent here. This is where moments become memories.
