Our cozy 1-bedroom cabin is set on a secluded 3/4 acre lot above the southwest corner of Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee, GA. Fully modern and comfortable with AC & heat, internet/Wifi & ROKU TV, this long time family owned property is located near 2 marinas, restaurants, movie theater, shopping, boat rentals, fishing, hiking, kayaking, folk art & galleries, the Campbell Folk School, the North Georgia Mountain Fair, live music & festivals, golf courses and casinos. Come and enjoy our mountain getaway.

- Please note that Hillcrest Drive is a gravel road and that the turn onto the gravel driveway is a sharp left hand turn and up a fairly steep slope. Pull all the way up and turn around so you can carefully drive forward down the driveway. Please stay on the gravel and do not drive around the cabin to go down the driveway.

- Internet and WiFi is free, TV service by ROKU with 200+ free channels and Guests can access their personal streaming accounts at their sole expense.

- Housekeeping is provided at $65 per reservation. Includes changing of bed linens and bath towels; cleaning of bathroom, kitchen and living room; removal of trash.

- Please NO grease, pan drippings, coffee grounds or other debris down the kitchen sink.

- Please NO personal hygiene items or “flushable wipes” down the toilet. - Please check our MODERATE CANCELLATION POLICY and consider taking out Trip Insurance for your protection.

Very quiet and relaxing base camp.

Perfect for getting away from the chaos of Atlanta. Quiet devotional time with God, daily hikes and mountain biking, reflection time sitting by the fire pit, very relaxing.Just what I needed.

Did not stay; had to cancel due to weather

I have stayed in this cabin before, but was unable to this time due to the potential danger from hurricane Helene. The owner of the cabin was very gracious and did give me a full refund even though it was a last minute cancellation.

Cons-gross dirty pizza pan in a drawer, 2 small skillets, 1 pot,road getting to it was scary Pros-cute,cozy,nicely decorated,large bathroom,great for a short stay. communication was fantastic

To summarize our stay, the question is, would you go back?. Our answer is, yes. The only negative, as such, is the property’s “driveway” access. We were advised before our stay and got used to it. The cottage is private, quiet, clean, comfortable, everything “worked”, location excellent, and the communication with owner and manager exceptional; wish other properties had the same excessability. Fantastic!!!

Perfect little 1 BR cabin! I was absolutely blown away at how nice this cabin was. This was my first time making this type of reservation, so I was apprehensive about it but it turned out to be such a great experience and place to stay. I've been telling family and friends non-stop about how awesome this cabin was. I will plan on staying here again in the future.

Peaceful and relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Lovely place. We would absolutely, book this place again. The only concerns were: 1) the bed was super bouncy, but comfortable and firm. It would probably be better on a platform. 2) I didn't see a washer/dryer listed as an amenity but it would have been super helpful, still, it wasn't a deal breaker. 3) The biggest concern was the drive. Our rented pickup truck almost didn't make it up it. 4WD is a must unless the drive is leveled up a bit. And 4) whatever you do- go all the way to the end of the road and do NOT make the mistake of turning down the neighbor's gravel drive. We made that mistake at around 8 at night and the neighbor shined a flashlight in our faces and gruffly asked "can I help you." People are people, though, and I definitely would not let that keep you from missing out on this wonderful place. It was truly so relaxing here!!! LOVED THIS PLACE!

Cozy cabin one bedroom cabin

We were happy to have found this one bedroom cabin for a college reunion and on such short notice. The owner and the person we were in contact for checking-in were very hospitable and always responded to my texts. The small road up to the cabin was a bit tricky, but thanks to their easy directions and the directional sign on the wall (very helpful!), we found it without any problems. The rooms were comfortable and cozy. Even though we didn't cook at the cabin, I noticed there weren't many utensils or pots/pans to use. We would definitely rent this cabin again.
