The best getaway

We loved our stay here. Our host was amazing and so helpful. The location was right in the middle of everything and only minutes away from Brasstown Bald. Ignore the other bad reviews, we slept amazing and will definitely be back.

I enjoyed the stay. I wish it was a cabin as it states but its a duplex. It was nice, clean , and private.

A perfect Valentine get away weekend!

It was a pleasant place to stay with an excellent host. The house was the perfect distance away from Helen, Clayton, and Hiawassee.

Home away from home

My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend and it was beyond beautiful!! The location was great with amazing views! Ms.Willene was beyond wonderful and met us for a late check in!(we traveled 12 hours LOL). We will definitely be coming back to this rental in the future!! Thank you again for your hospitality Ms.Willene and we can’t wait to get with you in the future to book another trip up there!!

Great Stay

We had a great stay and Mrs. Willene was a wonderful host! The property is in-between Helen and Hiawassee and right down the road from Brasstown bald! Great location and beautiful mountains! Would be perfect in the summer time to be able to enjoy the river more that runs behind the property. Definitely recommend.

River cabin

Perfect house for 2 people to stay in. Sitting by the river with a fire going is very relaxing. Willene was very gecious and supplied the wood for us. She is very sweet and a great hostess. The only negative is the street noise is loud at times but for the price you can't beat it.

Cozy cabin

The property owner was there waiting on us as we arrived. She made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us a quick overview of all of the area. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The area is quiet and centrally located.

Great centralized location. 10 mins from everything. Host was fantastic. Yea it’s on a highway but noise is really not a big deal at least for us. Will be back in the spring.

We enjoyed our stay here. Nice apartment. Nice backyard. Ms Willene was the best host we’ve encountered. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

First timer

The property is a duplex right on the highway so it’s pretty noisy. The place is very dark to me. Doesn’t have the windows and indoor lighting for it to be nice. Had an older musty smell and shower head was pretty crusty. The stairs to the creek are very dangerous and in need of a stable railing not the rope they have. If you have any physical disabilities it would not be a safe place. The owner was super nice and friendly. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this place for the reasons I listed. I give it a 2 1/2 stars

Exactly what we wanted!

The property was exactly what we were looking for. The host was very sweet and welcoming. The river running behind the property was perfect for relaxing and cooling off from the heat. Its 15 minutes from Helen and well located. We cant wait to come back again next year!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My husband and I came for an early anniversary trip. The cabin was perfect for a couple. The creek behind the cabin was the main reason we chose the cabin and it did not disappoint. The location was extremely convenient to Helen, GA. The owner was very helpful with suggestions of places to go sightseeing. Definitely a place we'd love to stay again.

What a beautiful slice of paradise!

My husband and I go somewhere every year for our anniversary and we wanted something a little different this year. I found this property and we decided to give it a try. We are so glad that we did! We loved the cabin/house and adored the creek! We had coffee there every morning and thoroughly enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit. The sound of the water was so relaxing and peaceful! The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful! Willene was so sweet and helpful with her suggestions for things to do in the area and she definitely thought of everything in the cabin! The bed was soooo comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was fantastic, the kitchen was equipped with about everything, there was loads of firewood for the fire pit - it was all just awesome! We will be returning here again and can't wait for our next visit! We were seriously sad when it was time to go. Counting the days until we can return! Thank you for the perfect short anniversary getaway!

We had a lovely stay at this property. The cabin was as stated online. The host was very hospitable, kind, and attentive. We had a very relaxing stay. This property was close to Helen, Brasstown Bald, Bell Mountain, and just nature. I would recommend staying here to anyone you will not be disappointed.
