The property was beautiful and I loved all the outdoor space to enjoy. We went on some nice walks and hung out on the big sectional inside. There was plenty of blankets around (the temperature outside fluctuated a lot during our trip). The kitchen had everything we needed and some. Appreciated the ample supply of dishware, pans, and other items needed to cook. Norris Lake was beautiful in the mornings with the fog. Appreciated the prompt replies from the host with questions. The checkout process was simple. We enjoyed the stay and would come back!

House is beautiful and clean. Our biggest issue was we rented the home due to being in the lake and has a boat dock. The dock wasn’t in the water where we could have a boat there or to enjoy the outdoor deck area. So I think it depends on what’s important to you.

Please note our description does indicated the property has dock access in peak season. Lake levels are lowered by TVA, which we have no control over. Consequently we lower our nightly rate during non peak season.

We loved our week at Edgewater Escape! The property was sparkling clean, the AC was cold during a historic heat wave, and the shower water pressure was outstanding What a bonus to have a dock to keep our boat at, and trailer parking for the week (that is sometimes SUCH a headache when we travel with our boat!). We spent our days on the water and our nights playing games and cooking dinner at the house—it was so relaxing. And there was plenty of space for all of 5 of us to retreat to our own rooms when it was time for bed. The screened deck was fantastic. We had brought some of our own games, but there were plenty stocked at the cabin. Also, thanks for letting us include our Boston Terrier. We had a great week over the Fourth of July!

We were visiting the Norris Lake area to explore a the house was a good location to get on and off the highway. Check in was easy and communication with oweners was great! Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were good quality too! The house is in a cove an neighbors are very close. We were there in the off season so that wasn’t a big deal. The deck overlooks the lake and there is a shared driveway that crosses your path to get down to the water. Not a dealbreaker but worth noting. The screen on porch was our favorite! House was homey and kitchen well stocked for basic cooking. We enjoyed our trip and would definitely recommend the house!

Family boat trip

House is great and is as the photos show. Location was huge highlight as it’s short drive off I75, close to Marina, and not a huge grade change from house to dock which is usually not the case at Norris so made getting to and from the boat easy for the kids

Wonderful getaway

Beautiful home on the water. Easy to get to and easy to get to the local attractions. We spent so many hours sitting on the porch, eating and playing games and enjoying the beautiful weather. Our family loved this place.

Lake Retreat

House was clean and well stocked with small appliances and every day needs. Water access with a boat dock was convenient. Pet friendly was a huge plus.

Perfect Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as pictured, and communication with the owners was a breeze. The boat dock came in handy and fit our 24' pontoon perfectly. It was the perfect lake house getaway. The house was clean and comfortable for four adults. I would stay there again.

House is very nice and in a great place on the lake. Description of property is very accurate. Only downside is water level was down so we could not use the dock. The house and drive are not a great place to have a boat because the driveway is very narrow and it's tight to maneuver a boat around before you can get it in the water. Mountain Lake Marina is just minutes away and is very nice.

Lake Norris 2022 Summer Vacation

Loved everything about this place and loved dealing with Joni. There were no issues and when there was any questions Joni got back to us right away. Beautiful house and would definitely go back.

Great house, location and owner

The house was wonderful for my family. Plenty or room great views and tons of extra accommodations. The addition of a covered dock was great along with the gazebo, you could spend all day on the dock in the quite calm cove. Can’t get a better location on the lake. The owner may have been even better than the house, made sure we had everything we needed when we got there and was very helpful.

Wonderful home and great vacation

Norris Lake was such a great vacation, and this lake home made it extra special. The home was very clean, and we had everything we needed for a great stay at the lake. The owners were great communicators whenever we needed anything. Thank you! We instantly felt at home there and look forward to going back. The cove was so relaxing to just climb in a raft and float around. A marina is right around the corner, which was also very convenient. Our family had such a great time at Norris Lake, and we can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic

The house was just what we were looking for, relaxing, comfortable and immaculately clean. Appreciated all the little extras: kindling, lighter at fire pit, plastic bags, dish soap and laundry soap in kitchen. Dog bed and dog bowls for out furry family. And above all the hosts were spot on! They responded quickly to all inquiries before, during and after our stay. We had a fantastic time and hope to return soon!!!
