Property was super clean and hosts were extremely efficient and answered questions quickly. Beautiful views of Norris Lake from the house. Flat Hollow Marina was 1.4 miles away and we highly recommend eating at the Twisted Pickle. Would stay here again!

We had an amazing time staying here. We really enjoyed using the boat for a day and getting out on the water. Carmen was a great host and very prompt at communicating if we needed anything. We highly recommend anyone that wants to come enjoy a lake getaway.

10/10 - Cute cabin stocked with everything we needed - and some things we forgot to bring. Excellent communication. Rent the boat and make your way to a jumping rock. You’re at the lake and deserve to have a boat!

This cabin was a wonderful place to spend time with family. We swam and hung out on the dock each day. There were many games available to play each evening. Plus you can get a free workout going up and down the stairs to the lake. The cabin was very clean with lots of small touches like the box of tissues around the house and providing enough toilet paper to last the entire week.

We were so pleased with our stay! The location was excellent, and the view was so peaceful and perfect. We enjoyed cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, and enjoyed supper on the deck overlooking the lake. The best part was having access to a boat rental right on property. We were able to rent a boat without trailering or hauling, and without driving anywhere! This property was conveniently located close to the marina, which made refueling easy. Will definately stay here again, and may take the kids next time!

Perfect getaway. Peaceful and away from the bigger more populated areas but still close to get to the marina. Tim and Carmen were excellent hosts with great tips and instructions. They were easy to get ahold of for communications and was very quick to respond. The house offered a beautiful view and access to the lake. Kitchen space and living areas offered all the amenities needed for a family. The rooms were comfortable and the perfect amount of space for each of us.We had an amazing vacation and hated to leave. Definitely plan on making this a yearly trip if possible and booking with them again.

We booked this property for 4th of July weekend and had a great stay. The beds were comfortable, great hot water and water pressure and we had everything that we needed in the home. Originally I was under the impression there was only 1 bathroom in the home so we were pleased to find an additional half bath downstairs. The host was fantastic at communicating, and the whole stay was seamless. This was our first time at Norris Lake. Renting a boat directly through the host made enjoying the lake convenient and it was nice that there was a marina a couple minutes away. Things to note for future guest: the drive to the house from the main roads is narrow and windy. The steps down to the dock are steep, and there’s some rocks you need to walk over to get to it (you can see in the photos) so if you have any mobility issues just be aware. The deck and house are so charming, but could use some general updates. Overall though it was a great place to stay for a long weekend, location was perfect and the house was reasonably priced!

The lake view is beautiful, but our experience with the property was disappointing. The main floor was comfortable, but the layout was difficult. The only full bathroom is off the kitchen near the entrance, away from the bedrooms.The stairs were our biggest concern. Three of four adults in our group hit their heads accessing the lower bedrooms, and one adult slipped and fell coming down from the upstairs bedroom. We also did not realize the upstairs bedroom was an open-air loft. Traveling with an infant, we were not comfortable carrying the baby up or down these stairs. Several steps on the long staircase to the dock also appeared to need repair.We had significant issues with the internet and television. The internet was not reliable enough for remote work, communication, or consistently sending photos through VRBO.Our vehicle also became stuck while trying to leave. Because of the combination of issues, we ended our stay early. We contacted the host through VRBO and received a partial refund several days later, but were still charged for one night after we left, plus VRBO fees.The waterfront setting is beautiful, but this property was not a good fit for our family. Future guests should consider the stairs, bathroom location and internet needs when booking.

Hi Kara, I’m sorry to hear that the property was not the right fit for your family. I’d like to clarify a few points for future guests. The delay with your refund was unfortunately outside of our control and was caused by a glitch in Vrbo’s system. I forwarded you the email from Vrbo explaining the reason for the delay on the day you requested the refund. We have been proud to provide excellent service as Superhosts for nearly six years, and we have never previously received complaints regarding the steps, ceiling, bathroom, internet, or driveway. The cabin has one full bathroom on the main level and a half bathroom on the lower level, and we provide the highest-speed internet available for a lakefront cabin in the mountains. Regarding the three-night charge, you checked out at approximately 4:00 p.m., which unfortunately did not allow us enough time to reasonably rebook the cabin that day. Due to the Vrbo system issue, we were also unable to modify the reservation and rent the remaining four nights. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry the cabin wasn’t the right fit for your family. We wish you and your family all the best.

The best 40th birthday

We stayed 3 nights 4 days in this amazing gem. We had a great time on the lake for 2 days with their boat rental. We were close to the marina and the area was so peacful. We WILL be back again.

Great time

This was mine and my husband's third stay. We always have a great time. The property is close to the marina, it's super convenient to great food and drinks. The cabin is cozy, has great decks to sit out on and relax, and super comfy recliners in the living room. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful view in a quiet neighborhood!

We were so glad to grab this gem for a holiday getaway. Coffee on the balcony deck and the most beautiful view of the lake, kept us happy and relaxed. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well stocked. We took the amazing opportunity to rent the boat for two glorious days on the water. Thanks for a lovely rental!

Nice spot on Norris Lake!

Perfect location on Norris with lovely view and steps down to the lake. House was very nice and had everything you needed. Host was very responsive with any questions. Loved that there was a pontoon available to rent. We had a great stay!
