Situé sur Big Creek avec l'une des plus belles vues sur le lac. La maison est construite sur la ligne 1044. La plus proche une maison peut être construite sur le lac. Une courte promenade sur les marches de l'eau et quai avec 2 glissades couvertes et un coin salon pour profiter du soleil et de la baignade. 2 ponts couverts avec beaucoup de meubles d'extérieur pour se détendre profiter de la vue et un barbecue à gaz.

Maison dispose de 4 chambres, 3 salles de bain complètes, cuisine entièrement équipée, salle à manger, salon, cave sous-sol, et 4 TV avec Dish Network pour les jours de pluie. Le sous-sol de débrayage a une salle de bain complète, blanchisserie et salle de jeux avec une table de poker / jeu et un jeu de fléchettes électronique.

Big Creek est parfait pour tous les sports nautiques, y compris le ski de slalom, wake boarding, pieds nus, le genou et la pêche. Il y a un parcours de slalom à moins d'un kilomètre. Les ports de plaisance à proximité comprennent Sequoyah, Whitman Hollow, Indian River et Norris Dam. Les locations sont disponibles à ces ports de plaisance pour les pontons, les run-abouts et les motomarines.

Always a great place to stay

A solid choice for us when staying at Norris. The home has literally everything you need and the owners communicate very well with us! The kitchen is fully stocked and the cleanliness of this home is hard to beat! This is our second year staying here.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation!! The house is beautiful and has everything you need. Communication with the owner was great —very responsive. Would love to stay here next year but unfortunately the open dates don’t work with our families schedules.

Great location for boating trip

We had the best time during our stay. The house had everything we needed and more. The view was amazing. We brought 3 boats, and they all tied up easily in the dock. The location on the lake was perfect for exploring the many marinas, and we found good places for water sports. The day we didn't take the boats out, we enjoyed a day on the dock with the kayaks and floating mat that were provided. The commercial ice maker meant we always had plenty of ice to pack the coolers for the boats, and didn't have to stop somewhere to buy it. Also, the owners were very responsive, and it gave us peace of mind that they were right next door if needed. We're definitely planning a repeat visit.

Best boating vacation ever!!!!!!

Beautiful place, the dock was perfect, plenty of room for boats and swimming. We had a great time taking day trips on the boat exploring and just as much fun hanging out around the house. The host was truly great. The property is a perfect location, close enough to town and far enough away at the same time. This was truly one of the best vacations we have ever had.

Perfect Fall View

Such a lovely location. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at the fall view. Kayaks were a delight. Nicely equipped kitchen. We especially liked the hot water kettle for heating water for tea. Make up your beds as soon as you get there. We were surprised we had to do that ourselves but understood that hosts can't predict which beds will be used. We had a great time and would go back.

Life moves to fast SLOW down!

Fantastic! Chris was great on helping us with info ask for the trip. Lodging was great Class A furniture and equipment to enjoy. Every thing we needed. Over all View, access to the boat slip , fire pit was perfect. So relaxing ,never left just enjoyed the surroundings with the family and Grandkids fishing . Planning our next trip next summer! Baseball mom getaway

The baseball moms needed a getaway from the hustle and bustle! We had a blast just lounging in our 10 person float off the dock! Music, laughter and making friends with “Fred”, the sweet dog of the owner next door! Everything was well stocked and the kayaks were a nice added touch! We really enjoyed the lily pad too! Thank you Chris and Janine for the beautiful cabin and the memories!

Property was great. Covered Boat dock and swim area was perfect for our two boats. The floating mat was great for the grandkids and the home had many amenities. The grill was ok. Ice maker was awesome. Kitchen and dining area was great for our family. We would rent this home again in the future. Location on the lake was great.

Great House on Norris with an Awesome Owner

Chris's house on Norris has an awesome view of the lake from just about every room. The house was clean and well stocked with everything our group of 10 needed. Communication with Chris was top notch as we had several questions since we had never stayed on this end of Norris before. The dock and fire pit setup are great as well. If you are bringing your own boat, be sure to bring plenty of bumpers as the dock does get a decent amount of boat traffic waves during the busy times of the lake.

Beautiful get away with breath-taking views!

Beautiful location, great property, wonderful views, very good amenities. One problem- never had to make our beds when we first arrived- ever! Also, the sheets on our queen bed were too small and kept coming off. Difficult for grandma and grandpa to get back on each morning!

Girls vacation 2022

We loved the property and the view. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddling on the lake. The house was very comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen. We are an older group of women in our sixties and seventies, so we had a little trouble with access to the house down the concrete steps and access to the dock where the lowest set of steps does not have rails. Overall a great time.

Our Biennial Family Vacation

To provide context, our extended family has met every two years - except for 2020 during the height of Covid - since 1998. The catalyst was the passing of our parents within three months of each other. Suddenly, the "magnets" that regularly brought us together were gone. We are fortunate to be a very close family, a legacy of our parents and - as I've learned over the years - not to be taken for granted or lightly. The total - consisting of me and my twin sisters, our spouses, children and grandchildren - is 36 when all attend, which has been most of the time; albeit there's an an occasional challlenge as the various "grandmonsters" grow and mature, becoming busier than when they were younger. To summerize, each of the three families rents a house and any other items needed or required for that location. For example, pontoon boats are always a must for lake locations such as Norris Lake this year. We've also visited various Atlantic Ocean beach communities over the years. As for this year, our 11th gathering . . . Norris Lake and Bosley's Bungalow - as my son said upon our departure, "one of our best ever, dad." (And, he doesn't regularly respond that way.) In short, eveything was more than "acceptable", often way more; albeit the steep round-trip climbing from house to boat dock for a few of us now in or approaching our octogenarian years was an occassional challenge, but certainly good for us when done properly and with the aid of the younger folk if needed. The house was clean, neat, well-maintained and certainly served our needs well. Hours spent on the dock and swimming in the lake were the height of enjoyment and relaxation. And the boating - awesome, both for the kids (and an occasional adult) on the pancake and simply enjoying investigating the lake. Indeed, the lake is spectacular and the views from the decks of the house up the hill beautiful. Perhaps best of all, it was obvious we all put life;s demands on hold for a week. Our family has returned to a destination or two for a second vacation experience. This place and Bosley's Bungalow may well be added to the list.

Big Creek

House was as described and is stocked with everything you need. Huge bonus is the industrial sized ice machine on the lower deck - this is so necessary for coolers and a great asset to this house! The only downfall we experienced (and its NOT the owners fault) during our week long stay was ZERO cell phone service and minimal wifi - we are business owners and need to run our business from afar even while on vacation - we had huge difficulties doing this but it is just a downfall of this area of the lake.

Beautiful Bungalow!

Bosley's Bungalow was absolutely perfect for our yearly family reunion vacation! There were 6 of us adults and the home had more than everything we needed for a wonderful stay! We enjoyed using the kayaks and fishing from the dock! We also rented a pontoon for a day and fished and relaxed on beautiful Lake Norris. The cove is nice and quiet and not a lot of noise. We saw a bear, a deer and a bunny! We enjoyed using the patios a lot! We reminisced about old times, drank coffee and had a lot of laughs! We met Chris & Fred, the friendly dog and had a nice talk. We absolutely loved staying here and recommend booking it early!

Easy to find. Very secluded. Very private and peaceful. Great fire pit with ample seating. Lots of seating inside for entertaining. Full bath on every floor. The homeowners are very accommodating and awesome!

Spring break/first time visiting Norris Lake

Although the weather really made our trip slightly rough , the cabin helped our stay to be more manageable. We did utilize the kayaks even though it was cold . The house was perfect and had nice separation for all . The owner was fabulous with making sure all our needs were met. We hope to return when the weather will allow us some lake time .

Grew up in Kentucky but have been here in Knoxville since 1996. Bought property on Norris in 2000 then built in 2005. We were lucky enough to buy this great rental house next door in 2007. We have met so many great people and really enjoy our multiple repeat guests.

A view that can't be beat. The house is very close to and it's an easy walk down to the water. The fire pit area is incredible!! Deep year-round water great for swimming. Firepit right at the water's edge. Plenty of parking.
