Expansive ocean views along with privacy for this 2400 sf 3 bedroom 3 bath home

Our home has views of the Pacific Ocean, Doran Beach, Bodega Head, Inner Bodega Bay and the 10th hole the Trenton Jones Golf Course from most of the rooms. Located in South Bodega Harbor, this spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is a short walk to the beach and the club house. Once in the house, visitors will find a beautifully remodeled kitchen and bathrooms all on one level. Front deck has fantastic views of the bay. The back deck includes a hot tub and gas Weber BBQ. Margaret is an hotelier and loves hosting our guests.

The master bedroom has a California King while the second and third rooms have a queen bed each. Large flat screen TV in the living room and in the master bedroom.

Our kitchen has Wolf oven, cooktop and microwave and Subzero refrigerator. Additional, it is stocked with many kitchen aid mixer, Keurig, Nespresso and regular coffee maker.

The bathrooms are beautifully remodeled.

Our home is solar powered and has a Tesla charger.

This home is great for couples and families with a pack n play and kid toys!

Beautiful home, extremely well-appointed, lacking no amenity. Very comfortable--hard to imagine anything else someone would want in a vacation stay.Hosts were diligently attentive to a small issue that arose and resolved almost immediately.

Wonderful views, quiet neighborhood, owner went out of her way in all aspects. Kitchen well supplied and well designed. Hot tub a great plus, towels galore. I would highly recommend the home for a super ocean getaway.

Great location for a relaxing getaway on north CA coast

Comfortable and clean house with nice views on the beautiful CA coast. Host was friendly and courteous and house was well appointed with a good supply of basic needs. Hot tub worked great. Kitchen was perfect for cooking and nice meals. Enjoyed and will hope to return.

Great Bodega Bay property

This property is excellent. Well-designed floor plan, ample common areas, large bedrooms and baths, and fully equipped kitchen in terms of high end appliances and kitchen equipment. The neighborhood is very nice and there are views of the bay from most of the rooms.

Great Property & Excellent Host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property had everything we needed, excellent kitchen and comfy beds with a nice view of the bay. The host Margaret really made all the difference, from her recommendations on things to do in the area to her excellent communications - you are dealing with a true Pro here that knows the hospitality business and how to treat her guests in a special way. Love this rental!

We have stayed in many locations in south Bodega Harbor, and this rental is one of our favorites. It has an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, and the views of the ocean and the neighboring wetland are outstanding. All of the beds are comfortable, and it is a perfect place to spend with friends. Highly recommended.

Anniversary Staycation

Margaret's home is exactly as advertised. It was clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We spent three nights here and enjoyed the ocean view and peaceful location of the home. A quick five minute walk to the beach was another added bonus. Thank you Margaret for sharing your home. We hope to be back for another staycation.

Fabulous!

This home has stunning views, it's well appointed and well stocked. We were welcomed with champagne and chocolates and our host Margaret was generous and attentive to our needs on our last day when a major storm blew in. We loved walking down to the beach and returning to sunset views and the cozy fireplace. Oh, and the bed pillows were amazing. Thanks for the wonderfu stay!

Beautiful home, wonderful weekend!

We throughly enjoyed everything about our weekend in Bodega at this beautiful home! The kitchen is heavenly, the three separate bedrooms- each with their own bathroom space. The hot tub! The deck! The view! The fireplace!!!! Really though, the best part might have been the service and kindness shared from the homeowner. We use VRBO often and in Bodega, we tend to use the local property management company, but the service we got this weekend was the best we’ve ever had. She went out of her way for us and it set in motion the most memorable 50th birthday celebration!!! Thank you!!!

Wonderful get away with friends!

This was a perfect home for our friends get away. The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need, we had wonderful views while sitting around the fireplace in the evenings and the hot tub made it even more special. They also had plenty of towels. Margaret left information on local restaurants and wineries which was very helpful, too. The house is located on a hill near the beach so we could walk down to the water for a long walk towards Heron Head. I cannot say enough good things about the property. We'll definitely be back when in the area.

Fantastic location and views here!

Brought my mother who isn’t very mobile to the coast to sit and enjoy the coast from a lap of luxury at the Heron house. Great layout. We all had our very own bathrooms (newly remodeled as well). The kitchen is great, but we chose to eat out the two nights we stayed. Towels were Uber soft. Hot tub with a star showing! Fireplace in the common room! Brought bikes and stored them safely in the garage. Great 3-day trip. Well managed. Would definitely stay again next trip to Bodega.

Lovely Beach House

We really needed a worry-free, cool and comfortable spot for a few days. Boy did we ever find that spot! The reservation and follow-up communication for us to locate and access the house was terrific. And the house is great. Clean, plenty of space for all of us (3 adults, 3 children), well stocked kitchen, good beds. The view is such a treat. And getting down to the beach was simple. It is also located close to the wharf areas in Bodega Bay so visiting them was very easy with little driving. The host, Margaret, was pleasant and informative in all of her communication. I had no doubt if we had a problem needing immediate attention (we didn't) that she'd be right on it to find a solution. We took a vote and it was unanimous for staying here again if the opportunity ever arises. It was worth the fairly long drive for us (from the Sierra foothills east of Sacramento) and every penny spent otherwise.

Home away from home.

The home has wonderful views of Bodega Bay. Everything was clean and nicely furnished. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need to cook with Host was awesome and communicated well. Even had a little gift for when you arrived. Will definitely be staying again!!! Thank you!!

This property is stunning, bright and well decorated and offers gorgeous views from every room. It felt peaceful and welcoming like a true home away from home. Everything was clean and tidy. The kitchen is impressively well stocked, which made dining in easy. The host is very responsive and thoughtful, making every aspect of our visit from arrival to departure easy. We had an amazing time and would stay again!

Margaret and Dave have owned this beautiful house since 2017. Prior to that, they vacationed in Bodega Harbour at Margaret’s parents home since 1984. Their children spent many days exploring the beach and tide pools. They currently reside in the east bay and are busy watching their grandchildren but still find time to enjoy this amazing home.

Our beach house is very private as it has three separate bedrooms with baths nearby. The views throughout the house are fantastic. The many skylights bring natural light to the house. It is often referred to as cozy.

Our beach house is ideal for a romantic get-away, friends gathering to enjoy each other and it is ideal for families. The house is kid friendly and we have pack-n-plays, high chairs, kids books and toys.

The house is very sustainable with solar energy and EV charger.
