This home is perfect for a small family or small group of friends with comfortable furnishings and has been exceptionally well-maintained. Dry entry under the home. The large kitchen is perfect for cooking up a seafood feast, and guests will enjoy convenient amenities such as an OBR pool pass, free unlimited long-distance calling, and wireless high-speed internet for their laptops.

Family Vacation

Great place for the money!

The location to the beach is perfect. For a fee, they allowed our dog. This is our third visit to this house. Although it isn’t fancy, it is clean and comfortable! We will be back.

Place has everything

Nice spot

Great location to the beach. House is dated but clean. The appliances need to be updated. The dish washer and the washing machine both leaked. Other than the appliance issue our stay was great. Very relaxing

Nice place to stay

House was very clean. Very spacious. There was a counter between kitchen and dining room with enough outlets to charge all of our devices. Beautiful view of ocean snd beach from the top balcony. Short walk to the beach. Would definitely rent this houses again. Bathrooms a little outdated, but I believe the owners are updating the house this coming winter.

Relaxing and Peaceful

We are a family of 5 from South FL with the majority being surfers. The location was perfect! 3 minute walk to beach, close to Avon Pier, and easy drive to anywhere else you may want to go in the OBX. The Observation Deck is amazing! There are three showers we only used the hall shower and outdoor shower, the master is really not useable. The place could use a litttle updating but overall we enjoyed ourselves and would stay again!

Dirty house

We arrived at the house with the trash can overflowing. The inside of the house could use a deep clean. There is black mold around the tub and dust everywhere including the ceiling fans. Grass was extremely high. Will not rent this house again.

Beautiful Ocean, very short walk to it!

Avon is our favorite town in Outer Banks NC. Beautiful Ocean was very short walk away. For smaller kids I recomend the Bay side, water is shallow and calm. Kids absolutely love evening trips to the Ocen when tides are out, and ghost crab, small fishes are everywhere. We took ferry to Ocacroke Island. Shells were very nice there. This vacation house has everything that you need. Bedrooms has nice setting. One bathroom has tub nice for kids, second shower for quick wash. Outdoor shower is super nice and convenient for rinse off sand from the beach. Olny one downside was poor cleaning. Cleaning crew should wipe cabinets after each renters. On white cabines you can see everything. Microwave, fridge, stove, dusting need their attention to. The same with bathrooms. Front and side doors glass were never wiped. The good side of cleaning the bed sheets and towels were clean. I think you want this to be the cleanest. Overall we like the house, location. Definitely we have good memories from that trip.

Island time is a great time!

Love the bright, airy feeling in this home. It’s right sized for a party of six or less. The outdoor shower makes up for the poor master suite shower which feels like a cramped, dark closet. The bedrooms and bathrooms definitely need updating. We’ve had several stays in this home and the appliances have been an issue. Overall though, we wouldn’t hesitate to spend our next OBX vacation in Island Time.

Outer Banks Perfection

Most wonderful stay at a lovely and comfortable home. Just a short walk from beach in a fun neighborhood. Midway to everywhere: Ocracoke, Roanoke and plenty of fun in between! Will definitely stay again and hopefully for a longer time :)

A superb property but…

This property deserves a 5 star rating. Great, superb, cozy, just a treat. The renting company (Vacasa) deserves a 1 star given that it is more concerned with cleaning operations and schedule than customers being able to enjoy the full rental schedule. Every other rental will text when property has been cleaned and inspected but not Vacasa. Property will be available at 4:00 pm says one email, then 6:00 pm says another then only at 7:00 because of code misfunction. Being there since 2:00 pm, we knew that cleaning up had been done. Frustating and others had similar stories. Nope. It was a first and unfortunately a last with a non-locally owned rental company.
