A short walk from the beach, this modern hideaway was completely renovated and redesigned in 2018 by award-winning architects to offer prime indoor/outdoor entertaining space. Take in ocean views from three separate outdoor areas, surrounded by lush trees for added privacy. Enjoy cooking and conversation on the spacious front deck equipped with Adirondack chairs, a gas grill, and a dining table. An outdoor shower is convenient for rinsing off after a fun day at the beach.

Relax in style with warm natural wood, lots of coastal light, and a gas fireplace in the living area. Unwind and stream Netflix shows on the smart TV, curl up with a book in the window nook, or admire ocean views through wall-to-wall windows. Whip up dishes in the well-equipped kitchen, outfitted with Caesarstone countertops, a full suite of stainless steel appliances, and a large center island.

Comfort awaits in each bedroom, spread across two floors. Retreat to the primary suite, featuring direct access to a covered porch with an ocean view. The en-suite bathroom boasts heated floors, a skylight, and a walk-in shower.

Spacious, Nicely Appointed Home

We were very happy with this rental. It was clean, and well equipped with comfortable beds. Nicely laid out with an airy, Scandinavian feel to the design and furnishings.

The house is really beautiful, it was rainy in Manzanita so it was great to have such a comfortable cozy place to stay with a lovely gas fireplace.

Beautiful new home minutes from the beach

This house is new, well designed and beautifully decorated - it was a great for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids. The best part is that it's a 5 minute walk or less to the beach, and a 15 minute walk to town.

Exceeded Our Expectations

Perfect size for 7 people. New & clean modern interior. Kitchen well stocked with high quality cookware & dining service. Short walk to a clean & lightly populated beach & a nice bit of ocean view from the living room. Wonderful windows & window shades that easily open/close & plenty of extra blankets & pillows. Nice storage areas for luggage & shoes. So much about the rental is well thought out for short term visitors!

A favorite amongst friends

We love staying at this house, and have so so many friends who have also stayed here as well. It's a favorite and a must annually. The house has the perfect flow, and the simple + elevated aesthetic. There's a warmth to the house while still maintaining a modern vibe. We love the location as well. Close proximity to the beach, golf course, City Playground and the main street. We always feel immediately relaxed when we get settled, and perfectly recharged when we depart. This house has all the necessary amenities we need for cooking, being entertained, and endless forts to build for the kiddos. The street is also perfect for little ones to ride their scooters or bikes, and nigh time s'mores towards to back of the home. A nice bonus is the outdoor hose with warm setting to rinse off before getting back inside. Morning coffee's are also well spent on any one of the outdoor decks or cozy living room. Can't wait to visit again.

Comfortable and Beautiful

We came to the Oregon coast to celebrate a milestone birthday with five adults in total. This home provided a beautiful place to rest, catch up, eat, and enjoy Manzanita for five days. It was extremely close to the beach and an easy walk into town. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area accommodated everyone spaciously. The home is absolutely beautiful, light and airy, and the fireplace helped make a cool, rainy June day cozy. Each bedroom has a small closet/area to hang clothes but only one bedroom has a dresser. Having baskets or dressers in the other rooms would have been appreciated. However, this was overall a fantastic experience!

Manzanita house

This house is lovely, on a quiet street and very close to beach access. Three bedrooms, full bath, and a half bath on the bottom floor are convenient - beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. The upper floor is spacious and open with a glimpse of the ocean - master bedroom and another full bath. The kitchen is well stocked utensil wise, but be sure to bring any and all condiments you may need. If you think you might want to watch a movie be sure to bring a computer with a HDMI port because that's the only way to access the ROKU channels (by logging into your personal accounts) - I missed that explanation in the rental info so I think it is worth mentioning here in reviews as well. Overall a great stay, thank you!

Special coastal getaway

There are so many things to love about this special spot on the coast! The location is awesome - not too far from downtown, dead end street with beach access steps away and a partial view of the ocean. The house is super cute and incredibly functional with good sized bedrooms, comfy beds and a great room that is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well laid out and stocked with plenty of dishes, glassware, cookware etc. We especially loved the various decks from which to enjoy the views. Our kids loved playing in the sand under the front deck when we weren't on the beach. The website indicates that beach chairs and beach towels were supplied but we couldn't find any. No big deal, but we would have brought our own. We had a wonderful visit and plan to rent again soon!

Beautiful, bright beach home!

We loved the light that poured into this house. The heated floors in the bathroom were amazing and we appreciated the functionality of the whole house, as well as the very close proximity to the beach. We would stay there again for sure!

Wonderful home!

Beautiful with a few hiccups

This property is beautiful and in a great location. Very comfortable bedrooms and living space, very clean and modern. That said, we had a few hiccups. The BBQ did not work and it took a couple of days to get it replaced. Th master bath’s shower was clogged and flooded when we showered. The shower was taken care of immediately but as noted the grill took a couple of days. The management company was very nice but when I realized I left/lost something in the house and asked if the cleaners could look to see if it was there, I was told that there was a fee to simple look for an item whether they found it or not which I think is totally lame! But overall a very nice stay.

Great beach house!

Loved This Property

The house was exactly as described. Even better than we expected was the view. The layout was perfect for our needs. We took advantage of the easy walk to the beach multiple times a day, and had a bonfire one night. We also opened windows at night and could hear the ocean. The kitchen appliances, big and small, were top of the line and easy to use. I appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail in the design. I wished I would have brought coffee filters, olive oil and some common spices, as we only found salt and pepper in the kitchen. Three of us worked remotely at various times, and the WiFi always worked perfectly. We didn't have time until our last night to use the entertainment. We are not good with technology, so I wish we would have taken the time to figure out streaming early in the stay or prior to so we could have watched a movie the last night of our stay. If we return to the Oregon coast we will definitely stay here again. We all loved this house!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Chinookery is a favorite spot of ours. We’ve been renting and enjoying this lovely airy space for the past 3 summers along with our young kiddos. The proximity to the dunes and beach is fantastic, walkable to town and to the ever important playground.The house itself is refreshing, modern and clean with ample space and a lot of character. The kitchen is well appointed with all of the gear one needs. You catch glimpses of the ocean from most upstairs areas and can hear the waves crashing with the windows open.We are already looking forward to returning next summer!

This was our 3rd year in a row staying at this great property. We invited a new set of friends to enjoy with us. They all enjoyed Manzanita, the home and the beautiful architecture inside. We’re all a bunch Of designers, so appreciating the details was fun to do. Everything we needed, perfect level of relaxation and comfort. Looking forward to next year.

A delightful, well planned space. Roomy yet homey.

The property was true to the photos. It is comfortable and from the main upstairs space, gives one a delightful sense of being in a tree house with ocean views amid the green of the abundant trees. Lots of room and well organized and easy to keep clean. I would go back in a heartbreak!

Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The first night we arrived, we found out the cable TV was not working. We called and they indicated they would send someone out first thing in the morning. There was a power outage overnight and we woke up with no power. We didn’t have power for 7 hours! When I called to report this and request early checkout/refund, they refused and when I asked to speak to a manager, they stalled and no one got back to me for hours. This rental was uninhabitable during that time with no hear, electricity or WiFi. We were very disappointed in the company response to our request considering we had young kids with us and it was quite uncomfortable. This is no way to treat your guests. Beware of Turnkey Rentals!!

A beautiful spot

This house is gorgeous and suited our needs perfectly! The house is well built, modern, and very comfortable. The small touches like having masks available, and being able to text the property management company were great! We had two toddlers so note that there is no bathtub but they didn't care and we didn't care. They loved the walk-in shower. The open floor plan was great for socializing and the enclosed balconies were great for the kids. The kitchen is very well-stocked and the products supplied were high-quality (detergent, shampoo, soap, etc). We also appreciated that there was care taken in making recycling easy to sort. There is obviously great care and responsibility taken in the home, which should motivate the guest to show the same respect. And the location is wonderful, just a few houses from the ocean on a dead-end street. The views of the water from the main level are great. And you can open the windows and hear the ocean. You're also within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The only bit of feedback I would give is that there were a few things that took us a bit of trial and error to figure out. It's a smart home and we're not that smart so the heater and TV took a bit of trying but the property management company was great and very responsive. It might just take being more detailed in the house instructions, for us dummies. Overall, it was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Home!

We loved this home. The style is modern simplicity with a Scandinavian vibe, so hard to find in a beach house. The home was spotless. The kitchen, great room and fireplace are light filled and gorgeous. The decks off each room are such a great feature. Perfect beach access at the end of the street. We cannot wait to come back.
