Amazing penthouse views! This oceanside oasis is perched on the picturesque Keawakapu coastline in South Kihei, just north of beautiful Wailea. This gorgeous, penthouse floor condo features a king bed in a private bedroom with adjoining full bathroom as well as an additional half bath. There is a comfortable sleeper sofa in the living area. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare meals to enjoy on your private lanai overlooking the ocean. We now have a split system two-zone AC in our condo, for your comfort.

This quiet oceanfront resort property has incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and West Maui Mountains. Enjoy resort-like luxuries of the Kihei Surfside Resort including access to oceanfront BBQ grills, a beautifully manicured lawn with putting green, and a newly renovated and heated pool overlooking the ocean with plenty of chaise lounges to relax upon.

The warm sands and clear waters of Keawakapu Beach are just steps away, offering some of Maui’s best snorkeling, sunning, swimming, diving, and plenty of tidepools to explore. Sea turtles and migrating humpback whales can be seen while strolling along the beach. Kayaks, surfboards, SUP and other gear can be rented at the beach.

Upscale Wailea is a short 5 minute drive away where you can visit The Shops in Wailea for premier shopping and enjoy fine dining at restaurants like Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Tommy Bahama's and Longhi's. World class Wailea and Makena golf courses are just moments away. This magical place is s perfect for a romantic couple's getaway!

Surfside traditions include meeting for morning coffee at the pergola (9-10) to chat and gathering at sunset to mingle with guests and "talk story" of the day's adventures, greet new guests, and join the conch shell blowers as they blast their tribute to the setting sun.

Winter get away

The condo was just as advertised. Wonderful views of the ocean. Got to see whales from the lanai. The owner answered questions as soon as I sent him them. Everything was handled very fast when needed.

Beautiful

This place not only has a stunning view in a great location but the condo is the is the most well stocked place I’ve ever rented. Plus everything is very nice. Nice towels, dishes, appliances etc. really everything you could need is here. The host was great with communication and instructions.

Best Day Ever

Every day in Maui is the BEST. This condo at Kihei Surfside is FABULOUS. The location - PERFECT. It’s quiet, comfortable & RELAXING. Bob & Sarah are the perfect hosts. We will return to Maui & this condo.

Amazing Location and View

The location was amazing for walking out to the beach every day. The unit is on the top floor of the building. Views are amazing all the time and it’s very quiet. Host and communications were on time and easy.

One week in heaven!

We love this property. Situated with the best view on the island! Short walk to the beach and an even shorter stroll to the lovely pool! Top floor affords the most amazing views! Sunset from the lanai was breathtaking. Every night! Unit is perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. Even spent part of an afternoon plunking on the ukulele that hangs on the wall, complete with chord charts and songs. Owner was in town staying in her other unit. She went out of her way to find us and visit with us. And her husband has been a stellar communicator from booking to checkout. We will return! As often as possible! Highly recommend!

Wonderful Condo!

Perfect unit! Three of us - my wife and I brought our 6 year old and the condo was spacious, exceptionally clean, quiet and had fantastic views of the ocean. Bob (owner) was the best VRBO communicator we've ever had. Made sure we had everything at check in and throughout our stay. We will surely be back!

The view!!!! The location!!! So perfect!!!

We are so grateful Bob shared his place with us for our family vacation. The location was amazing - minutes to both Wailea and Kihei and steps from Keawakapu beach. We watched whales from our balcony every day and even saw Hawaii’s stunning green turtles right by the grassy area at the hotel. Our boys loved playing football and soccer in the grassy park, and splashing in the heated pool. You can’t beat the location and convenience of this place. It’s also a killer sunset spot, We definitely appreciated the towels, beach toys, chairs, cooler and umbrellas - this was a major $$$ save as we didn’t need to buy or rent anything. The one bedroom condo was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kiddos (10 and 12). One kiddo slept on the fold out bed, and the other on an air mattress we brought with us. The kitchen had everything you could ever need with cooking utensils, and pots and pans, silverware and plenty of plastic and ceramic dishes. Thanks so much for your hospitality Bob! We can’t wait to return.

Just beautiful!

I literally gasped when I walked in from the gorgeous view of Lanai out the back windows. The place is clean and renovated and has everything you need, including a thoughtful welcome gift and regular communication from the owner. I loved it and highly recommend it.

Excellent home away from home

Bob pulled out all the stops to make sure his condo is comfortable and everything a vacationer needs. His communication of the use of the property was excellent. The condo was super comfortable with all the amenities, including powerful AC and the best view of the ocean. We will definitely be back.

Not clean Many minor repairs needed Lousy beach chairs even though I inquired Lacking in kitchen / bbq dishes/ had to request dish towels and very few kitchen basics. Not worth the price. Best part was the view

Wonderful location

We enjoyed our stay at this well appointed condo. The bed was comfortable, they even had a choice of pillows. The ocean views from the lanai as well as from inside were spectacular. We went to sleep to the sounds of the waves and watched whales every morning with our coffee. A convenient, peaceful, quiet, beautiful location with a great pool and grounds. Bob is a very helpful and conscientious host.

Stellar view, perfect location and gorgeous property

Bob was very thoughtful and shared great information about Kihei. This property is right on one of the best beaches we explored. The park, pool, and BBQ were well kept and gorgeous. We cooked on for the majority of our meals and ate dinner enjoying the sunset over the ocean. The condo had everything we could possibly need including a cooler, snorkel fins, floatation noodles, beach towels, games, and all the cookware you could need. The size of the condo is perfect for a couple and the views from the deck are perfect. The only little thing that could have made the space better would be ac... but the house was stocked with plenty of fans and we spent 90% of our time outside enjoying the local beach trails, the ocean and the pool. Great oceanfront condo

We loved the views from the top floor of this property. The condo building is really well managed, with a huge wonderful lawn, a very nice pool and two easy to use grills. We snorkeled right in front of the property and saw beautiful fish and turtles. Property owner Bob was responsive and really helpful. We had a wonderful stay!

The most beautiful unit in kihei Surfside!

We love staying at Kihei Surfside and have stayed at number of units, this one is by far our favorite! The views from the 6th floor are incredible, and the owners took great care to outfit this unit and modernize it. Everything you could possibly want is here! The renovations that the owners did are beautiful, the unit feels like it walked off of an Elle Decor magazine cover. The bathrooms are beautifully updated, there's a full bath and a half bath) the kitchen is gorgeous and every Appliance you could possibly want is there. The communication with the owners was amazing, we had one question which we emailed upon check-in late at night and before we got up in the morning we already had the answer! There were little gifts awaiting for us upon arrival which made for a very special welcome. There are many pluses of staying at Kihei surfside: convenient to everything, amazing snorkeling just outside the door, but this unit made it over the top amazing! We cannot wait to come back. Thank you Bob and Sarah for being such gracious hosts, we loved your unit!

Most Amazing Stay Ever

My family of four hasn’t stopped talking about our trip and beautiful stay in Kihei. Bob was beyond easy to work with. Unit was SPOTLESS, and roomy enough for 4 people with everything you need. View is insane. Resting turtles everyday in the cove (stay back at least 10 feet!), swimming turtles everywhere, awesome shelling in the tidal pools, perfect waves for body boarding, friendly people, a few minute walk to restaurants, and short drive to anywhere else! Thank you, Bob & Sarah, for sharing your beautiful home! We are already planning another trip back!

Unbeatable Views!!!

The property is incredible! The condo is updated, well furnished and equipped, the 6th floor offered breathtaking views, the pool was wonderful, the beach is a short 2 minute walk away, the large grassy area was perfect for watching the sunsets and playing games with the family, everyone was so nice, and we were so close to everything we wanted. We were so glad we found this condo and can't wait to come back.

My wife, Sarah, our son, Dylan and I live in Folsom, CA, and we come to the islands as often as we can. We love the sun, surf, sand, beaches and island lifestyle. Sarah is a Teacher in a NorCal charter high school, and I'm a Pharmacist by training with several careers in my background. Kihei is our sanctuary!

Sarah and I were married at the beautiful Keawakapu beach 11 years ago, and we stayed at the Surfside for the first time. We fell in love with the “Surfside Vibe” and decided we wanted to own a condo to share with others. Maui is one of our favorite islands, and Kihei one of our favorite communities!
