Solara Sanctuary - Sleeps 30, FREE pool/spa heat

Stunning vacation home, SLEEPS 30, with contemporary design throughout. Luxury finishes, spacious rooms and comfortable surroundings suited to the larger groups of families and friends. Located in the guard-gated Solara Resort with access to all resort amenities included. Located within easy reach of all the major Orlando attractions, shopping, restaurants and stores. The home has 7 king-bedded bedrooms and 2 quadruple double-bedded bunk rooms, themed with the children in mind. There are TVs in all of the bedrooms which are serviced by ample bathroom facilities; some are ensuite, others 'jack-n-jill', and there is also a ground floor suite and half bathroom facility. The living accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room, dining area, pool table, large flat screen TV, outside lanai with table tennis on the pool deck as well as sun loungers and patio furniture for relaxing. A grill/BBQ is also provided for your use (guest to supply propane). There are full towels and linens, luxury toiletries in the bathrooms, pool towels and a fabulous games room arcade which is air conditioned and provides hours of entertainment if needed. Driveway parking is available immediately outside the front. Free high-speed internet is included. This is a non-smoking home and pet-friendly (please ask about our pet policy and fee when booking). Pool/jacuzzi heat is optional for an additional fee. Pets are welcome subject to the additional pet fee of $225 plus taxes.

Large well decorated home with enclosed pool

The location was great for visiting the area parks but this is a rental properties neighborhood so some rentals were very loud and noisy with blaring music all day. The home is spacious, a nice pool, and had a game room for kids. Do bring everything you will need such as soap, toilet paper, tissues , all cooking necessities like salt and pepper, paper towels, foil, and and extra towels as there is not much supplied. The new grill was great and we enjoyed the pool table. I discovered on leaving that none of the bunk beds had top sheets on them. Only a bottom sheet and a blanket. The kids said nothing or I would have called for sheets. The kitchen did have a lot of dishes and pots and pans to use. The mattresses could stand to be replaced as most had deep dips from being used a lot and were not comfortable at all. Carpet in the bedrooms has also been well used. Management was very responsive and fast on getting items such as dish towels and such that were missing. Very appreciated.

Excellent Reunion House!

We stayed with about 20 other people and it was very spacious and perfect for hosting a large family or group. The rooms were clean and spaced out and we loved that each essentially had its own bathroom attached. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. However I think the one suggestion we would make is to stock the house a little more. There wasn’t any soap, laundry detergent, extra garbage bags, dish soap or extra toilet paper which was frustrating after traveling and needing to prep meals and everything. Again, we loved the house and pool and thought it was an excellent place and easy to get into. We would have loved to see more essentials stocked in the house.

Great experience!

David was really helpful and worked with me. Check in was extremely fast and easy. My whole family loved the house and a great experience overall. Everything looks exactly like the pictures. Would definitely stay again!

good option but let down

The size of the property was great and arcade room was fun . unfortunately only superficial touches has been updated, the cooking ware is very old not great options the refrigerator was dirty and ice maker didn’t work well. The lights for the pool didn’t work and it was dark outside in order to use the grill , the pool itself was dirty family didn’t use. Only one person went in. The grill was dirty and no gas. Some of the bathrooms didn’t have toilet paper and pool table had 6 sticks but only 1 had a decent tip all others were broken. The house owner was responsive though and overall a good space for families!

Pros:Beautiful home and very spacious. Very nice neighborhood.Resort was nice for family time. CONS: PROBLEM WITH BUGS .POOR INTERNET CONNECTION CALLED FIRST DAY DIDN'T SHOW UP UNTIL LATE NEXT DAY.Most chairs by pool was broken and / or rusty and about to break 1 screwin them. Maintenance came out and said he would bring more chair but didn't return. Overall I will stay again

Big Beautiful House

The photos online accurately represent this house, it's really lovely...the rooms are spacious, and well appointed, and the bunk rooms for the kids are amazing!! The pool and hot tub were wonderful and got a lot of use during our stay. That said, there were a few minuses...there are no hand rails on the hot tub, and it is quite a step down for anyone older, or with balance issues...the patio furniture was rickety and falling apart, and several of the games in the arcade did not work at all, which was disappointing. The downstairs master bath was spacious, but the shower was ridiculous....the shower head is a joke, especially for a house of this calibre. Also there are no shelves, niches or towel bars in the shower, so its a mystery where your toiletries are supposed to go......I used a plastic tub turned upside down and set inside the shower to put our toiletries on. The kitchen is nice, the stove and refrigerator worked wll, we were provided with starter products to get us through until we could shop. Our stay here was a real joy, and despite a few minor issues as stated above, I would be happy to stay here again. The resort itself is lovely, nice and quiet, and we felt very safe and secure. The towels were nice and there were plenty of them, and the house was mostly pretty clean, although not pristine. There were dishes and pots and pans, adequate for our needs for sure, and even a high chair and playpen, overall a very very enjoyable experience. Also, I did not contact the management company about the games in the arcade, there were still plenty of things for the kids to do, so i can't say whether or not they could have remedied that situation. I do feel they should have already been aware of the state of the patio chairs, since some had already been removed and stacked out of the way...but I did not make them aware personally.

Not Clean...Items in disrepair..Pass on this house.

I would never stay at this property again. Kids were so excited for the game room but only 1 worked. Yes, 4 of 5 games DID NOT work. One was even taken apart. Ping pong paddle broken.The carpet crunched under our feet and COVERED in stains and smelled. Refrigerator missing door shelves and broken drawer. Food is splattered on the cabinets. No kitchen towels. BBQ rusted out and would not light. All couches are covered in stains and smelled.(I went store and bought sheets to cover and lots of deodorizer for the whole house) Carpet living room smelled and filthy with dirt/food under coffee table. Even the vase on table was full of trash! Dining chair broke.(Table also dirty with food). Walls had food or something running down them ALL OVER THE HOUSE. Door knobs were sticky and the white doors were BLACK from dirty hands. Bedroom TV did not work on ground floor. Beds upstairs had open food, clothing and tubes of petroleum jelly under them. Kids room had melted ice cream on "made" bed. Even part of a woman personal hygiene on the bed. No kids mattress protector on bed and smell of urine. Kids ended up sleeping in with the parents. Chairs in bedrooms were also stained. Bedroom furniture knobs missing from drawers making unusable. Towel bars ripped out of wall, no place hang towel. Bathroom sliding door off hinges we could not get fixed. Stairwell not vacuumed. My advice to owner is to deep clean and fix all items before renting again. Pool was the only great thing!

Spring Break 23

Pros: Property manager's communication was terrific. Extremely fast and timely. House is extremely spacious. Great security. Cons: due to the size of the home, the internet is not strong. Cell phone service is poor in the area and traffic going towards international drive was crazy. There were not enough towels to accommodate the size of the home and ZERO face towels. We purchased our own at Walmart. There is a big bug issue. This is the BIGGEST problem! Overall my family had a great time. Until the bug issue is resolved I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending this property (I did reach out to the is owner and he offered to send pest control)

Nice place, great neighborhood

We spent the week between Christmas and new Years here. It was the wrong time to go as it is apparently a very popular time for people to go. Having a nice place like this, though, made it worthwhile. The kids and adults had a great time hanging around the pool and hot tub. And both groups also spent a lot of time in the game room. The house was clean, neat and organized. And the Clubhouse, playground, and community pool were within walking distance. We did have a couple maintenance issues, that David was very quick to respond to. Everything worked, but the range could definitely use replacing, and the dining room, and pool area chairs need some help. Overall, we had a great time here, and would return. It's a great place for a large group, as long as you don't mind sharing a bathroom. Two of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms, but all but one of the kids rooms, have to share a bathroom between 2 bedrooms. It wasn't an issue for us, but we weren't really expecting it. The one thing that did bother us, was the fact that there was no hand soap in ANY of the bathrooms. To me, that should be a necessity. We got past it though and still had a wonderful time!

Nice place

Property was nice but the walls had previous damage and scuffs and scraps, the TV were hard to figure out and they provided the bare minimum in linens for the beds (ie no extra linens and no fitted sheets on the beds), we had plenty of towels for the pool but not enough for bathing purposes and no wash cloths we asked for those and they were provided. We had to buy dish soap and laundry soap as we were there for 6 days, there were plenty of dishes to cook and eat with although we purchased paper products we did use the pots and pans provided. The pantry and laundry closets were full of detritus and odds and ends. There plenty of rooms but the beds weren’t the most comfortable but what they had was nicely appointed. The chairs at the tables upstairs were rickety and 2 of the games in the gaming room were broken. The pool cue holder was broken when we arrived I had to stay on top of the kids cause I didn’t want us to be blamed for stuff already damaged in the house. The clubhouse area is located close to the house and kids spent some time there. Most of the big parks are like 1hour away more with the traffic. There’s a Walmart and 7-11 close by for groceries or a quick coffee. The owner was nice responsive to messages and got someone over there quick when the battery sounded in the smoke detectors and wouldn’t stop making noise. Overall I’d stay again just know to bring wash cloths and towels, extra bedding if you’re cold natured and cleaning supplies cause none is provided. The place is nice and big and had enough beds for my parents, my siblings and their families and me, my hubby and 5 out of our 6 kids, you can also bring pets for a deposit and pay to heat the pool in the winter months.

Awful experience. The maintenance was horrible and dirty. Nothing like the pictures online.

I made my reservation in April. It took me a week to decide where to stay just to have the worst experience of my life. The floors were really dirty and just walking barefooted, showering and using the towels felt disgusting. The maintenance is horrible. When I arrived the pictures were nothing like the actual house. The pictures online must have been taken right after the house was made but it is similar to them anymore. The carpet made the whole house smell bad too. I won’t be staying at this vrbo anymore.

The property was a great way for our family of 17; 7 adults and 10 children ranging in age from 2 to 18, to enjoy the theme parks and have plenty to do while not at the parks. The game room and pool were great!

Great Location but house needs a complete overhaul

This property is located in an excellent location and the use of the Solara property was fantastic. Unfortunately the house needs some major renovations and a serious cleaning. There was multiple things that were broken however the owner tended to our requests immediately. The property because of the popularity and the wear and tear really needs some deep cleaning. I am pretty picky when it comes to cleanliness abs unfortunately this did not meet my standards. Overall we made the best of it and had a great time but I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone I know personally until some updates are made. Great for big groups and home layout is also great.
