Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Great Option for an Overnight Stay

My husband and I stayed in this little carriage house when we came to Charleston for an event at the Gaillard Center. It was very clean and comfortable.

Charleston downtown

Small but quaint and clean. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Chair and desk included. One parking spot. Close to restaurants. I would book here again.

Wonderful property

The Cottage was a perfect stay for us. Location is perfect if you like a little longer walks, but if not, Ubers are very easily accessible. The accommodations were everything we needed. The bed is firm just as a point of note. It was comfortable for us. It was a great stay and the hosts were very responsive!

Amazing stay!!

This property was the perfect stay!! We did a short stay in Charleston and needed somewhere close to everything and this was it!! It’s the perfect amount of space for a short trip and the bed/pillows were super comfortable! Short walks to everything you would like to get to! If it’s too far to walk, a short/cheap Uber is the next best option!

Quaint place!

My husband and I were very pleased with our accommodations. Just what we needed.....small and quaint. Very quiet. The parking spot very close to the cottage was very good since parking in downtown Charleston is a premium. Our only complaint is there was no microwave and the mini frig was broken. However when I called about the frig a technician came out that day to look at it. Although it could not be fixed things happen! We were told a frig was available near by to use. Highly recommend for a couple!

Cool Neighborhood

The Apartment was as shown. It was lovely with very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the neighborhood and sitting on the veranda. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Parking was good, especially for Charleston. We would definitely stay again.

Nice cottage, slightly rough parking

We enjoyed the cottage-everything was clean & very easy communication with checkin & checkout. The parking was a little rough since we had an F150 and it’s just a tight 3 space gravel area. But definitely nice enough to stay again!

Great VRBO!

We enjoyed our stay on the property! Check is was easy. Contact with other guests/staff was at a minimum. Very COVID friendly. The only issue we had was parking. Parking is tight in the back but Charleston is a tough town to park in any way, especially in a pick-up truck.

Reviewer Comments: This rental is really good, decor excellent and gives a real feel for the Charleston area, with the extremely beautiful and distinct houses. Quiet and comfortable and although a walk to the historic heart of Charleston, we liked this because you explore more and find little places you probably would have missed...don't just walk along Kings street but thread through all the different streets that take you back to Spring Street.
