Kiahuna Plantation avec vue sur l'océan

Notre condo est situé sur le côté sud ensoleillé de la belle île de Kauai dans le Kiahuna Plantation Resort. Nous sommes situés dans l'unité n ° 131 qui est à l'étage avec aucun vacanciers dessus de vous. Il est situé sur la propriété où le stationnement est amplement toute la journée. Nous avons récemment rénové la cuisine avec comptoirs en granit magnifique et notre unité est décoré avec beaucoup de style hawaïen. Plantation volets mènent à notre belle véranda qui jouit d'une vue sur l'océan (nous sont classés Garden View Deluxe). Vous allez adorer profiter de votre café du matin sur la véranda avec de belles brises embaumées. Un bar-b-que est situé à quelques pas de notre unité. A seulement 2 minutes à pied de la plus belle plage avec une cabane de plage au bord de l'eau pour acheter des boissons et des collations. Les serviettes et des chaises de plage sont gratuits.

À travers la rue est une belle centre commercial avec plusieurs restaurants et même un Starbucks. En bas de la rue est un centre commercial flambant neuf avec de nouveaux magasins d'ouverture tous les jours.

Unit # 131 est notre petit coin de paradis et nous aimerions partager notre belle maison hawaïenne avec vous.

First time on Kauai

This property was a great place to stay for our first trip to Kauai. Driving to other parts of the island was no problem! The plantation itself truly feels like Hawaii! Additionally, having a luau within walking distance was a real bonus! We will come back for sure!

My wife and I loved the property and the unit where we stayed. Being able to walk to the beach in a couple of minutes was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

2 wonderful weeks in Kauai

We stayed at Kiahuna for the 3rd time (different unit each time) and will definitely return to this one! The size is perfect for a couple, maintained very well and the deck is PERFECT!

Condo was beautiful and a wonderful place for our family to stay. Beach was a 5 minute walk and same with the pool. Loved the location - so many activities . Being able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset each day was the best!

LOVE our stay and this unit!

Great Stay!

I've been coming to the Kiahuna Plantation for ages now. It's a great location on the sunny south side of the island, one of the best beaches is right out front, a short walk to the grocery store and shops, and it's always nice to have your own kitchen so you don't have to eat out all the time. The unit was great! And the AC was a pleasant surprise, very nice to come home from an all-day adventure to a cool room. Comfy and clean with a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. I would definitely come back again.

Wonderful family vacation

This was the perfect place to stay for our family of four. The unit was small but just the right size for us. The king bed was great for us and our two small kids, though there was pullout couch we could have used. All we did was go back and forth to the beach (few min walk) and pool (quick walk across the street) as the kids were obsessed with the ocean waves and the water slide at the pool. The grounds are beautiful and us adults enjoyed the amenities (gym, easy checkout of beach towels, chairs and umbrella). And the partial ocean view from the lanai was wonderful. Overall a great place to stay and we’ll be back!

Great Location

Such a great location. Short walk to a beautiful beach with access to chairs and towels. Nice that the unit was supplied with an umbrella and cooler. The kitchen had everything we needed and having a full size refrigerator was nice. The unit got hot in the afternoon when we forgot to close the blinds but the AC unit cooled it down quickly. Quiet location and close to shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. We'll definently return.

Exceeded our expectations!

The unit is clean, comfortable and located with view of ocean from large lanai. The air conditioning was very helpful! The overall property is well situated near Poipu beach for snorkeling (saw fish, green sea turtles, monk seal). The property’s beach (3 min walk) is gorgeous with a great lawn leading to ocean and beach hut for towels, chairs and snacks. Surfing students are fun to watch from the beach. Serene, chill vibe on the property. And across street is Starbucks, fun general store, several restaurants and shopping. Just half mile away is upscale shopping village with Living Foods, restaurants and shopping. We would come back here!

Poipu Paradise!

This lovely 1 bedroom condo with ocean view is well located - close to shopping, restaurants, and of course the beach! The upstairs unit is nicely decorated, with a full kitchen, sitting area, dining area, spacious bedroom with king sized bed, and full bath with tile shower and double sink vanity. The lanai is pleasant in the morning and evening, but gets plenty of afternoon sun. Laundry's facilities are located some distance away, but they are clean and modern. The grounds are lovely and very well maintained. There is even a botanical garden on site (Moir Garden). We can’t say enough about the Castle Resorts management staff- they are courteous, knowledgeable, and fix problems quickly. Our stay included priveliges at a swim club across the street (no pool on site) but we didn’t go to the pool. There is plenty of parking, and we noted security personnel patrols. Would definitely stay at Kiahuna Plantation again.

Misleading listing; Overpriced; why a VRBO?

Amenities listed washer+dryer, pool...W+D is actually 8 bldgs away in pay "guest" laundry; pool is across Poipu Rd in crowded (public) athletic facility. When questioned host reply was "I didn't say they were in the unit or on the property". Other "resume enhancements" in listing. Save $$$ by contacting on-site Castle Resorts--Kiahuna Plantation (who manages most of other 311 units in KP) for lower price, less tax, lower cleaning, and no VRBO fee.

Not worth the money. Have been on island 12 years and this property was disappointing. Condo not stocked well for cooking in. Poor toaster and cooking utensils. Extra cleaning rate and no beach. Towels or equipment etc With a 100 unit number expected ground floor and we had two flights of stairs and for 82 year old this was difficult.

Wonderful stay in Poipu

For the money this is a great unit to stay at. It’s in a great location next to parking, little fish coffee and a little mall/general store plus 5 min walk up the hill to the amenities. The beach where rental chairs snorkels surfboards hut etc is 5-6 mins away which is great also. The condo was missing a few of the finer things and some basics ( dish rack, sanitizer, cooking oil, comfy blankets, large beach towels, tommy bahama chairs just to name a few but we ended up driving around a lot visiting other towns and didn’t stay too long in one place anyway so for us it was fine. A/C worked fairly well in the living but bedroom was hot some nights. there’s an additional fan to use which we set up for sleeping. The king bed is very comfortable. All in all the Kiahuna is a great vacation property and you’ll have a blast! Just don’t try to go party anywhere after 8:30 on average! Things close early 🌺🤙🏻 Mahalo L & S from Vancouver 🇨🇦

Best of both worlds kind of stay

The condo was great! It was an easy, few minute walk to the beach in front of Kiahuna Plantation Resort and the Sheraton, which is very nice. Poipu beach is an easy 15 minute walk away too. We sometimes debate staying in a hotel/resort vs. VRBO/home and this is the best of both worlds. The unit has all the space, conveniences, and comfort of staying at a home but also easy access to poolside/beachfront bars/Restaurants and and other amenities. It was nice to have a kitchen to do some meals there, space to relax at the end of the day and sit on the lanai, and quiet. But it was also nice to have just a few minute walk to multiple beach front restaurants to grab breakfast, lunch, and afternoon drinks. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of fans and AC (although we didn't need the AC except to cool it down when we first checked in). The only thing was the oven and toaster were broken. The oven was tapped up with a note about the door being broken so it was unusable. We weren't planning to do that intense of cooking so it was fine but could be a bummer for anyone looking to. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

nice view but the rest is disappointing

We have been going to the Islands about twice a year for the last 10 years and I have to say that this condo was disappointing. The view is amazing but the lanai chairs all have broken straps. This unit gets alot of sun so this is going to happen but replace them for your guests. The bed was very comfortable but all the rest of the furniture is quite cheap. Don't believe it when they tell you that air conditioning is not needed. We had great trade winds and it was wonderful to have all the windows open, but if you can sleep through all the roosters crowing all night and the road noise you're better than us! The kitchen has the bare basics for cooking again very poor quality, and the cabinets are so high you have to use a step ladder to reach some of them. There were two very rusted old torn chairs and one boogie board that someone had left there. I have never stayed anywhere that didn't have beach stuff. We had to rent beach chairs and buy a cooler when we went to other beaches. There are so many other units and properties that have all the things you need and really cater to the visitor, this unit truly felt like a cheap rental

We spent our honeymoon in Hawaii and from that first trip we knew we would be back several times. After many trips back to Hawaii, we finally took the plunge and purchased our own Hawaiian home. It was the best investment we ever made. We love our little piece of paradise.

After walking on to the property of Kiahuna Plantation Resort, we knew that this property meant Hawaii to us. Swaying palm trees and the beautifully kept grounds and no large hotel. This truly was Hawaii!
