One of Reedsburgâs most prominent homes was finished in 1910 for Ralph P. and Helen Perry and their three daughters. Entering Perry House from the magnificent front porch gives the feeling of a grand home. You enter into the vestibule which leads into the large front hall. You will notice the original 112-year-old floors and a brick wood burning fireplace. The grand staircase with leaded glass windows above leads to the second floor.
To the right in the front hall there is a œ bath and a cozy library perfect for reading or watching a movie. We provide a 55in TV. This room has original bookcases with glassed cabinet doors. The room has a queen size sofa bed.
The dining room has a twelve-foot antique dining table that seats 12 comfortably. The walls have muraled wallpaper and two cabinets plus a buffet. To the rear of the dining room is the 3-season porch with beaming morning sunlight.
The living room is on the west side featuring a large marble fireplace with window seats on each side. There is original art throughout the house. French doors to the back lead to a 3-season porch with a glass table with chairs plus a rocking chair.
The backdoor will be the main entry point went guests arrive. The basement includes a huge laundry room that includes a toilet room.
The kitchen has been updated to include large picture windows overlooking the backyard. There is plenty of counter space and storage. We include one of the best stocked kitchens. The kitchen has a refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, GE Cafe 6-burner range w/ 2-ovens, coffee pot toaster, blender, mixer and crockpot/cooker.
Taking the main staircase to the second floor takes you to 5 bedrooms. We provide cotton sheets and towel sets. There are extra blankets and comforters. Each bedroom is well appointed. There are 2-full baths with original tilework and fixtures. The toilets and vanities have been updated to todayâs standard.
The property sits on an acre and you have the entire home to yourself. The garage and storage shed are off limits.
The house is 2-blocks from downtown where you will find restaurants, bars and shops. There are various parks nearby. We provide brochures and other information in the home.

This stunning, immaculate well preserved home was perfect for our family of 7 and was fully equipped with every gadget or appliance you could need for a getaway!
The location is perfect for visiting The Dells, a mere 20 minute drive to most attractions and for us a great retreat to relax after a busy day.
Perry House will most definitely be our go to home for future family getaways!
We hosted our girls trip here. It was a beautiful home with all the amenities you could think off. We hosted a dinner party with 10 people where I cooked and they had everything you could need. The home was very clean and organized and absolutely beautify! There were plenty of things near by and a quick drive to the Dells.
The house was absolutely beautiful! We really enjoy staying at houses that have interesting or historical architecture. The history of this house was intriguing and I appreciate the restoration the owners have done. Great place to stay with older children as there are many priceless breakable treasures within the house. Thank you for the stay.
Robert and Christopher graciously opened their beautiful, historic home to my classmates and I for a morning get together the weekend of our 55th class reunion. They couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. The home (and large front porch) were perfect for this event!
This historical home had so many rooms and a kitchen that is fully loaded to meet everyoneâs needs. The family loved exploring all the rooms and some interesting and surprising spaces like the huge laundry shoot. It was about 20 minutes to Wisconsin Dells which is why we needed something big enough for our extended family .
The house was absolutely beautiful, all the rooms were so awesome, didnât feel crowded at all with 9 people. Jack and Jill bathtub drain needs to be fix before renting again,
While viewing several properties online, 11 year old granddaughter said, "Choose the mansion!" - wise choice. Our 3 generations family of 9 enjoyed gathering at the dinning room table that seated us all comfortably. The modern kitchen supported multiple preparers. Spaces to be together and spaces to be apart. Good location for lots of WI attractions.
The property is spacious and beautiful. We had 8 adults staying at the house and 15 during the day. The home functioned well to accommodate large groups. The kitchen is well stocked with serving utensils and dishes. There are many spaces to explore or to chat in small groups. The yard worked well for outdoor games. Bob includes the history of the home which is interesting to know. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Perry house.
Our family enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and exactly as stated in the listing. Robert was very nice and sent us information on events that were happening during our stay. Overall our trip was great and would definitely stay here again
I grew up in the Wisconsin hills near Reedsburg. It is called the Driftless Area because it was never covered by ice during the last ice age, and therefore lacks glacial deposits, also termed drift. My family has been in the area since the 1800s. It is a beautiful region with rolling hills and farmland. I moved from Wisconsin to Atlanta, Georgia in 1996. We live in the Druid Hills historic neighborhood. I have a great interest in historic properties and architecture, so this was the perfect place. I have a passion for travel. We chose to purchase a home in Wisconsin so I could connect with my roots and be closer to family. I have fond memories growing up in the area and enjoy spending time outdoors.
I have known the Ralph P. Perry House since I was a young child and wondered what it was like on the inside. I was intrigued with the massive columns and huge porches plus it was sitting on one of the largest lots in town. We had the opportunity to purchase the home in October 2021 and jumped on it! We are the 3rd family to own it and commit to maintaining for future generations.
This prominent house is solid and built with amazing craftmanship which is visible in every room. Its over 4300 square feet and has been superbly maintained throughout it's 112+ years.
