Ski Weekend

I stayed two nights with my kiddo for a ski competition - place is close to town and the mountains. it was clean and well appointed.

Great house in quite neighborhood

Beautiful pool. House well equipped with any amenities that may be needed - owners very responsive via messaging. Would happily stay there again!

Excellent!

This is great apartment sized second floor rental near Holiday Valley! Very cozy setup with large sectional couch and spacious kitchen. Will be staying here again!

Excellent apartment style rental right by Holiday Valley!

Really great rate for the accommodations! Nice large sectional in the living room. Ceiling fans in the rooms. Fully functional kitchen. Clean!

Just what we wanted

3 twentysomething skiers looking for convenient and affordable lodging close to Holiday Valley. We appreciated Kristy's swift response to our booking and inquiries. Online descriptions and pictures represent the property well and we enjoyed our time on the slopes!

Great place for a quick getaway!

My friend and I were excited to find this place for our girls’ trip to see the eclipse! It was perfect for us and had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. The WiFi was also excellent as we both worked from the location in teams meetings both days. Checkin and checkout was a breeze. Our only “complaint” and it really wasn’t a very big deal was that the water pressure was low in the shower, which wasn’t a big enough deal to lower our enjoyment of our home away from home! We also enjoyed the closeness to the cute little downtown district of Ellicottville!

Great place to stay for those on a budget

Overall this VRBO was clean and served its purpose, providing a place to sleep, kitchen, and sofa to relax on. Unfortunately, we did not realize that a train would go by the house on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 1:30am each night, rattling the apartment and blowing a very loud air horn. When we asked Kristy about it, her response was "This is the first time we have ever heard about something like this. We have only ever heard/seen the train a few times in the years we have been there." If you are ok with the train, know that a few of main windows do not have blinds/shades (or broken blinds), and are ok with the traffic from RT291S nearby, then this is a decent place to stay. It's clean and the rate is budget friendly for the area.

Cute and comfy!

Perfect for our ski weekend. very convenient! Fun ski themed decor! and very comfortable. We met the owners in passing several times and they were super nice. like you've known them a while! I'd add the coffee pot is a kuerig. And it is well water. the water was just fine. no smell in shower nor any weird taste. i drank it no problem. they did give you some bottled water for those that are particular. The water pressure in shower was so so. otherwise the place was perfect!!!! great value. quiet. private. easy peasy.

Convenient roomy place to stay near Holiday Valley

We had a good time at this place - well stocked kitchen, easy check in, super close to skiing. It was right off the road so lots of traffic noises but the bed was so comfy we didn’t notice!

Great stay close to slopes!

We had a comfortable stay and the hosts were very accommodating. Downtown Ellicottville was just 2 minutes away. We will rent again because it was very affordable!

Well Equipped

Not what you expect from the outside - super cute & spacious on the inside. It was also well equipped with extras - Ketchup, mustard, butter, oil, salt, pepper, they even had some adult beverages in the fridge! The bathroom was also well equipped with soap, shampoo, lots of toiletries, hairdryer, much more! Also, very close to the Holiday Valley.

We had a great visit in Ellicottville. Apartment was clean, location is close to the slopes, property manager was accessible and accommodating. Had everything we needed for a weekend stay.

Hi! We are Kristy and Brandon Hendricks and this is our Ski Home. We purchased the property last year and are in the process of renovating both units. It is a work in progress but one that we hope will create a lifetime of memories for our family.

Our family has been skiing at Holiday Valley for several years and we decided we wanted to be able to visit more often. We love the Ellicottville area and all that it has to offer. The downtown features great restaurants, amazing shops, and fun events throughout the year. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
