The cabin was very nice.and clean . Patio was relaxing with great view of the trees and water. Coach was knowledgeable helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We first came to The Riverhouse in 2019 for a wedding anniversary trip and have returned every year. We love that we are able to relax on the back porch and fish, cook, or just listen to Caddo. The cabin has everything you need and Coach is an added treat. IYKYK. I hope one day we can stay more than once a year, and want to thank Randy and his family for offering The Riverhouse for others to experience and enjoy. You want to book this trip!

This was what we wanted. Fishing was great considering the heat. Cabin is very nice. The add on was great. The host was very accurate in that there is not a lot of AC in that room. The AC was incredible for the main cabin. We will go again!!!

Wonderful property right on Big Cypress Bayou. You can fish from the balcony and the scenery is beautiful. There is a Family Dollar store within five minutes in case you forgot something. The city of Jefferson is only 12 minutes north where there is great BBQ and 100 year old houses that have been restored. Canoes and kayaks can be rented within walking distance. Take "night crawler" worms and minnows if you want to fish. Across the street is where Coach Eddie Guess lives... who is the stand-in host for Randy. Coach is full of wonderful stories and a plus for going there. Everyone loves "Coach."

We had a great time at the riverhouse which was cool, comfortable with great hospitality.Fish we're avoiding the heat but we caught (and threw back) 4 small catfish 4th of july weekend. nightcrawlers for the win!

It is a beautiful, cozy cabin on the river and is a great place to just sit back and relax. The host was friendly and the cabin was very clean and had everything we needed.

Pictures didn’t do views justice! Place was spotless and easy to find. It’s not keyless and after we arrived Coach had us checked in and gave us tour in about 30 min. He was fun to visit with daily and check in to see if we needed anything daily. He even has driveway alarm so he can tell when coming or going which I think really helps keep you and your things safe. I highly recommend staying here and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. If you haven’t visited Lake Caddo/Big Cypress Bayou you’re missing one of the most beautiful places in Texas . Now I have to watch Caddo Lake the movie!

This place was absolutely enchanting! The cabin is the perfect waterfront setup for avid fishermen and naturalists. The host “Coach” is one of a kind and will set you up with everything you need. His hospitality and knowledge of the area is unmatched. I just left yesterday and I already miss this place. Can’t wait to go back!!

The view from the balcony on Big Cypress Bayou is phenomenal. The host was gracious and made certain we had everything we needed. We were in town for an event in Jefferson. The location is convenient. We want to go back for a week of relaxation, so we can fully enjoy the serenity of this secluded cabin. Thanks for hosting us!

This was our second year hear, and we will definitely be back next year! We had piles in the water from sun up to sun down, and my husband caught a giant catfish and aligator gar! The cabin is cozy, and the atmosphere is peaceful. Coach is the best too! See y'all next year!
