The large screened-in deck was great, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed (except ice cube trays, but that was an easy fix). The cabin was really clean and comfortable too. The A/C is set to 85 at checkin so it took a while to cool down but it worked great and there were plenty of fans to keep us cool in the meantime. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the cabin!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was just as described. We had to contact owner due to water pressure issues and the everything was handled quickly. We will stay again.

Small water area is very low and doesn't look pretty at all. Fires not even charcoal allowed because of fire ban, not their fault but took away from the fun. The cabin is very clean but extremely small. Large enough for two but not six unless they have cots and don't mind sleeping on the screened porch. No ice trays or ice maker. A hot tub is there but no water in it.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a cute little home away from home. Loved drinking my coffee on the large screened in porch! The cabin had everything we needed to cook with. Easy access to the water for kayaking. All in all we had a great weekend get away!

This is a great little getaway spot for my wife’s birthday. Only 15 minutes from Jefferson and Caddo Lake, beautiful drives on the back roads, great view of the creek and awesome to have a fully screened in porch to get away from the bugs. Our misunderstanding was looking solely at the pictures made us feel like It was more secluded than it actually was.

That beautiful creek right in front of the porch is actually a direct waterfront tributary of Caddo Lake! In fact, we provide two complimentary kayaks for our guests. You can paddle right from our property along a 15 min. gorgeous, scenic kayak trail that leads directly into the main channel. The public boat ramp is also just a quick 3-minute drive away. While we do have neighboring properties nearby ( the property is on an acre), we aim to use the natural trees to keep the space feeling like a relaxing retreat.We would love to host you both again for another birthday getaway on the water!

It had just rained like a monsoon, but it was still really clean. Instructions were easy to follow. It was a great place to stay and more affordable than lots of other places around there.

Great place for a couple, it is pretty small but has everything you need, and the screened porch is huge. Everything looked and felt really clean. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Great place to stay if you want to be on the water but away from the boat noise.

I totally agree that it’s nice to be on the water but away from the loud boat noise. I love our tributary, its beauty and peace. One of my favorite paddle trails right off the property. We also love the huge screened in porch plenty of room for a nice family bbq at both tables and still lots of room. I’m glad you enjoyed it- you all are welcome back anytime!

Wonderful property and small cabin only downside was it was 85 degrees upon arrival and took hours to cool the cabin down. The host has the temperature set at 85 in the summer and then the guest can turn it down.

Oh no! I wish you would have messaged or called. My number is right on the fridge. The cabin takes about 15 mins to get down to 75. It is a bungalow cabin. It has a mini split where the air can blow cold directly on you. It also has three overhead fans and we keep an extra fan on the porch. This helps the temperature to change quickly. I’m sorry you had to deal with heat. That is not acceptable- we strive hard to give a 5 star experience.

Great stay. Kayaking was fun and the river is literally a few feet from the cabin. The host is awesome. We'll probably book another stay this spring.

Only negative is the body wash canister was empty. The cabin is perfect for two. Loved the large screen porch.
I don't know that I would describe this as waterfront. But we didn't mind.
