Sip sweet tea on the front porch while enjoying the sounds of nature on this half acre Johns Island property. This newly renovated Midcentury Modern style home is situated half way between Charleston and Kiawah/Seabrook Islands. Whether you enjoy golfing, beach days, or exploring the charm and history of Downtown Charleston, you'll be close to it all. We are 30 minutes to Folly Beach, 24 minutes to Kiawah Island, 27 minutes to Seabrook Island, and 22 minutes to Downtown Charleston.

The cleaning fee is based on a "courteous guest". Any excessive dirtiness or neglect will accrue an additional $95 fee.

Very cozy, very prepared. Lots of stuff ready to use. Towels, soaps, washer/dryer, outdoor seating. Quiet neighborhood not too far from anything. Host stayed in touch and was very clear and helpful. 10/10 would stay again.

Sarah is a great host. The house is extremely clean and equipped with everything you could need. It is a convenient location to the town and restaurants.

Great Little Spot!

We had a great stay while down in Charleston for a few days. It was nice to get back to the house in the AC during a heat wave. From the house on Johns Island, it was about 30 min to downtown and 45 over to Mount Pleasant but in a nice quiet location. There was a great place for nearby called Sunrise Bistro. Sarah was a very responsive and helpful host which made for a wonderful, comfortable stay.

Darling little house on a quiet street in John’s Island. Clean, tidy, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The “house manual” answered any questions we could have had. My 9 year old said, “I could see myself living here full time.” Perfect if you want to avoid the chaos of downtown Charleston or Folly Beach without being too far away.

The property is very nice, super clean, it has all the accommodations you would need it’s 30 minutes from folly it’s quiet where you are at, I enjoyed staying there even for just one night.

Perfect Stay!

We were in town for a celebration for the local elementary school on the island and decided to make a weekend of it! This was the perfect place - close to everything we needed, easy to get downtown & to West Ashley since the house is minutes away from Main Rd & the connector! House is kid friendly, we had our 2 and 4 year old with us. Neighborhood felt safe! We will definitely stay here again when we are in town!

Cute quiet place!

If anyone needs a place to stay on john's island this is it. Nice quiet beautiful home. Everything you need all the spices, pots and pans plates. Lots of space, two bedrooms and a pull out. Convenient to Charleston and all the beaches. And a very good price.

PhD candidate stay

My daughter was doing some PhD fieldwork in the area and convinced me to join her. Our stay was perfect…2 bedrooms in a beautifully done home! The house was clean and the kitchen well appointed. I can not think of one item that was missing. WiFi was good, instructions for everything were in a 2 ring binder. Not sure of tv, etc as we didn’t have time to watch anything. Close to everywhere we wanted to go!

Celebrating friends

Home is clean, cozy and comfortable. Nicely decorated. Kitchen is basic, could use a few items to make meal prep and storage of leftovers easier, . I mentioned this to owner at checkout , so , im sure this will be addressed. Location is on a quiet street and close to beaces, nature trails, shopping and restaurants.

Charleston Visit

Clean, Quiet, and Country like property that fit us well for a couple day stay. A bit outta the way and traffic can be congested and slow so allow for xtra time when going to events and activities. All the necessary and nice amenities needed for a pleasant stay.

A Great Getaway - Good out of the way location!

A Great Getaway – Absolutely Perfect!Wow! This VRBO exceeded all our expectations in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the good location, for us, immaculate cleanliness, and thoughtful touches throughout the home.The property itself is great—and equipped with every amenity you could think of. The kitchen was equipped making it easy to prepare meals, and the living space was cozy and comfortable . Each bedroom was comfortable with nice bedding.The outdoor space was great for our dog to enjoy and us as well with the fire pit.The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was incredibly responsive, providing great local recommendations and ensuring that every little detail was taken care of. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests’ experience, which made our stay even more enjoyable.If you’re looking for a comfortable getaway, this is it. We will definitely return to this house.
