It was worth the money. The room could use a few upgrades but werent terrible. The sliding balcony door weighing a ton was nearly inoperable, microwave sounded like it was about to explode, and the dryer took 3 cycles to dry. Keep in mind this is not a review. These are just suggestions to the owner. As i said before it was worth the money.

Don’t stay here. The property is in terrible shape. Dirty. Elevators are horrible and you have to plan 1-2 hours ahead to catch an elevator up or down. Parking garage is ridiculous and you will have a head on collision if not careful. The staff at the front check in counter are rude and make you feel like you’re bothering them. The umbrella service company is another matter. Do yourself a favor and pay a few 100 more elsewhere. Mold and signs of flooding water damage in the condo

During your stay, there was an unexpected power outage caused by a road construction crew accidentally striking a power line. This unfortunately affected elevator service throughout the building. While this was outside of our control, I completely understand how frustrating that must have been, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. As for the parking garage and front desk staff, those areas are managed by the building itself, but we’ve passed your feedback along to the appropriate contacts in hopes of improving the overall guest experience. Regarding your concerns about possible water damage or mold, we take such matters very seriously. Had you contacted me during your stay, our team would have responded immediately to inspect and address any issues. Since your departure, we’ve had the unit professionally evaluated and have not found any evidence of mold or active water damage. We regret that your stay was not as smooth or enjoyable as we always strive to provide. Your feedback is appreciated and will be used to help us and the building continue to improve.

I have stayed at Tidewater many times over the past 15 years. Everything from a 2 bedroom on the 5th floor to the 4 bedroom penthouse on the top floor. And I have always be very satisfied with the condos. As I was 2214 this stay as well. The only things that I had issues with were the lack of the condo being clean when we arrived. The couch was very worn out and several lamps needed bulbs….. but with that being said, I would like to thank Nicholas, the owner for his quick response and professionalism. I have added a few photos from the balcony, which is where I absolutely loved staying as we had double red flags and wasn’t able to get into the ocean the first two days. I recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for room for your entire family on the beach at a very reasonable rate. We will definitely be returned guest.Cathy

The owner was very nice and quick to responding! The condo wasn’t cleaned food still in fridge and freezer. But overall the condo was very nice and spacious for our family. Each room had its own bathroom so that was a plus! The resort in all I was very unhappy! They only allow one cart to arrive and you have to leave your ID to even get it. The elevators were down so it took us 3 hours to get to our room after driving 12 hrs. We couldn’t even go to the beach without waiting 2 hrs to even get back. When we did go somewhere we heard someone talking about Tidewater and that they would never stay there again. First time I had been on a vacation in 10 years and Tidewater ruining it! My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer and he wanted to go on vacation for one last time and he was unable to enjoy it because he’s in a wheelchair and with the elevators down or completely full and couldn’t fit his wheelchair in the elevator. We have saved for this vacation for 3 years and I feel like we wasted our money! The owner was a private owner and was very nice but the resort itself was awful!

Too Much Waiting Time

The elevators alone will make me not stay at Tidewater again. We spent way too much time waiting on elevators, especially when we had a cart. We were on the 22nd floor so taking the stairs was not an option. About 8:30 on the morning of checkout, I found out I had a flat tire and then I had to try to finish bringing our things down and check out at the same time. I finally had to text the owner that I would be a few minutes later than 10:00 checking out because after waiting for an elevator to take our things down for over an hour, I locked my teenage daughter back in the condo so I could go down to get the flat tire situation started. Finally, a nice man who was there to work on the elevators, took me straight up on one of the elevators to get her and our cart. Luckily, I had taken a large portion of our things down earlier that morning. It was a very disappointing trip that ended with me spending about eight hours in the parking garage trying to get my tire fixed. I had nails in my tire from the road construction. Although, I will not stay at Tidewater again, our view from the 22 floor was beautiful.

When we arrived at the property, the room was not very clean. The floors were gritty as if they had not been swept. The sheets on the bunk beds seemed as if they had not been changed due to dark, blood like areas on the sheets (very gross honestly). Toilet tissue holders and towel racks were broken. The dryer was broken as well so we were not able to use that amenity until the night before we left, which is a huge deal when you plan/ need to wash clothes and towels! We did try several attempts with little communication regarding the dryer and maintenance to service the appliance. When he did finally show after over 36 hours from the time we reached out to the host, we could not get in the room without our assistance due to his code not working. He also showed shirtless to service the dryer, meanwhile we have teenage daughters who felt very uncomfortable at this very unprofessional situation. We were never offered additional towels or some sort of compensation for this inconvenience. After reaching out to the host, Nicholas, he assured he was working on getting towels with no follow through. I feel as the host handled this very poorly and very rude with responses. The dryer was clearly not checked prior to our stay and the room seemed as if barely swept through during the cleaning process prior to our stay. And the description says 2 queen sofa beds in living room, which was inaccurate. There is only 1 queen sofa bed. Overall, DO NOT STAY! Poor service and very unclean.

Several of the outlets do not work. My son in law had to fix the ice maker in the refrigerator so we could have ice. The mattresses and pillows are very stained and discolored. The host wants the dishwasher unloaded before you leave (by 9am) which is almost impossible! The elevators in the building were a nightmare!! We had to use the stairs several times and the stairwells are not ventilated therefore, very hot! There are several damaged areas, such as under the dishwasher. The place needs a good deep clean from time to time and the host should do a walk through occasionally to keep his investment in good standing with VRBO.

Great Stay

Beautiful location with breathtaking views. Convenient to everything. Good and drinks were truly delicious! Property Manager was very quick to respond. Check in process was less desirable but not a big deal. Elevators were slow and often broken, but repairmen were onsite working on the problem. Bathroom showers had hair in them and one bathroom didn’t have hot water (was not made aware until we left). Overall, we truly enjoyed ourselves. Staff was friendly and quick to help. Lobby was immaculate, always someone cleaning. We’d definitely stay here again!
