Dressed in the cool beach tones of the Emerald Coast, this fourth-floor lake-view condo is ready to welcome you to the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Relax in the comfortable, air-conditioned living room, or take your beverage out to the furnished balcony to truly take in the ocean air. Younger guests will enjoy the hallway bunk beds and guests of the main bedroom will enjoy an en suite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Everyone can help cook breakfast in the fully-equipped kitchen, which includes a dishwasher to make cleanup a breeze. Pack light and take advantage of the private washer/dryer. As guests at Laketown Wharf, you'll have exclusive access to the beach as well as a shared outdoor shower for cleaning off the sand - that's in addition to the shared putting range, hot tub, fitness room, and five pools they can also enjoy during their stay!

Not bad

The amenities and location of Laketown Wharf are great. Our kids love the pools and convenience to the beach. However, the elevators are always an issue. I say this because this is our third stay at the resort and they’re either messed up or just simply can’t keep up with the demand. The rooms aren’t bad but they usually aren’t great either. This particular room had some issues, but I don’t blame the homeowner for the issue, but the people who manage and also clean it. We will be staying in a different room next time.

Great location, dirty unit

The negatives: this condo needs a top to bottom cleaning. It was filthy and had barely been touched prior to our arrival. The bedsheets weren't changed and had makeup on the pillowcases and the master bathroom toilet was filthy. The floors of the condo turned your feet black and the dishwasher sounded like a freight train and didn't actually clean the dishes. Silverware in the drawers were crusted with food. The actual supplies in the condo were also lacking - we purchased some fresh fruit and there wasn't a knife large enough to cut it open. We also had issues accessing the condo - the code to the door didn't work and it took nearly two hours before we were able to get inside. The property manager is off-site so there's no one at the resort to help. That wouldn't have bothered me if we hadn't had issues, but was frustrating when all you could do was call a phone number and talk to a different person each time, and explain the entire story over again. On the positive side, the location of the condo is great. Beach access is quick and convenient. The pools are fun. The water show in the lake is entertaining and there's plenty to see and do in walking distance. The beds are also extremely comfortable - after washing all of the bedding, we all slept great. Parking is also super convenient as there's a walkway from the 4th floor of the garage and you don't need to use an elevator. However there aren't luggage carts so bringing a wagon or something helps a lot.

Great place for families

The condo was very spacious, had two bedrooms with king beds and a full kitchen. Deck outside was spacious and had a table and chairs to accommodate should you want to dine outside. Lake view and very close to the beach. Multi pools, heated and a large hot tub.

Fantastic Stay!!!

This condo is absolutely beautiful, clean and comfortable! It was perfectly stocked with everything you need for an awesome vacation. Even beach toys were provided for the kids. The location is great, there are restaurants, stores, bars, and beach that are all within walking distance. And there are 5 pools at the resort!!! Working with Vacasa was great to work with. We definitely will be coming back.

Read all before booking

We booked 2 weeks at laketown wharf through VRBO and was coordinated by Vacasa. 1st of all you have no on site contact for resolve of anything immediate. Condo was 2 br 2 ba which was nice-ish. Definitely could use spring cleaning and some sprucing. We had to vacuum and clean floors upon arrival as there was sand and grit everywhere. Also a few bugs in kitchen too. I left a napkin in sink when we left showing evidence YUK. NOW onto RESORT itself. It felt like it was under gestapo rule. And you also must know there are OWNER rules and VISITOR rules meaning we were sitting by hot tub on 10th floor. We had drinks in yeti cups w lids. There is a rule that drinks must be 4 ft from it. A security guard came by told us rudely about the rule but said not one word to a group of 3 that had OPEN plastic cups right next to spa. It wasn't the only time we heard this SAD. Next time we went to sit by hot tub it was filled with kids jumping playing ball and 2 younger ones with arm floaters splashing. There is a heated kids pool on 4th floor and heated pool down on ground level with hot tub adjacent. They really need to designate areas for kids and areas for ADULTS only. Staff and security was rude every time we saw them. Also pets are allowed in some units... Which I am a pet owner/lover but some think they can leave them in room with patio door open....2 hours later the barking finally stopped. Parking pass and wrist bands are $60 plus tax so $70. We are a mid 50s aged couple and don't need much to make us happy. We will NEVER recommend or return to Laketown Wharf

Christmas Fun in the Sun

OMG....I absolutely loved the location. The condo had everything covered from having family board games, utensils, cookware, extra blankets, privacy, and plenty of space. We were right across from the beach access, the Walmart, and a strip full of various stores. The weather was so good to us. I am definitely a fan this condo and will be back! Thank you for hosting us!!!!!!
