Welcome to Kauhale Makai 327, a stunning freshly remodeled oceanfront condo fully equipped with luxury furniture, custom fixtures, and includes everything you need to feel right at home on vacation. We invite you to stay and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful Kauhale Makai (Village by The Sea) resort.

This condo offers; fully stocked kitchen, new stainless steel appliances, many kitchen accessories, brand new luxury furniture, new floors throughout, tasteful decor, beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler and much, much more!

The master bedroom has a luxuriously comfortable king size bed, a Smart TV for you to stream all of your favorite shows and movies. You can gaze at the beautiful ocean view right from your bed, or take advantage of the private entrance to the lanai from your room.

The living room has a comfortable pull-out sofa bed with a queen mattress and an LED Smart TV and WiFi. Tasteful decor and lighting throughout give this home an added element of beachy chic. The kitchen will meet all your needs, the appliances and accessories are all there for you to create memorable meals at home. This condo also offers Central AC to keep you cool.

This complex has immaculately maintained grounds, including a heated pool, a hot tub, a BBQ area, plenty of parking, and just a short walk to the closest beach.

Kauhale Makai - Village By The Sea is proud to be a Smoke-Free condo/resort.

Check in at the front office and for your parking and registration.

Great stay

Clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great access to the beach and other south shore locations we visited throughout our trip. We would definitely stay again during our next trip to Maui!

Fantastic Kihei Getaway

Fantastic location and condo. Lanai was wonderful and the amenities -beach things, especially the wagon! was a great help to our adventures. Could not for the life of me find the hair dryer but that may very well have been user error. Would highly recommend and stay again. Ahead of arrival emails were informative and the book in the room answered any lingering questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great room for two and young kids

There is everything you need for a stay away from home. You have a view of the ocean from the main area and also from the bedroom. There is a pull out sofa if you have kids with you in the main room. A pool with grilles for cooking and best of all you are in the quiet area of Kihei and .7 miles to all shops restaurants and the food truck court. Quick and easy to get to the Piilani Hwy to go down to Wailea / Makena or back to Kahului.

Nice place!

Exactly as pictured! Fun stay lots of stuff to use! The only down side was there was Alot of dust on the bed frame, no big deal but easy wipe up! Beautiful property loved the walk to the beach! Exactly what was expected. The whole equipment available was awesome the beach chairs, umbrella, the cart made all beach trips amazing! I would definitely stay with VIP properties again!

Perfect condo!

The condo was perfect for the two of us. The location was great, close to many restaurants and easy access to several beaches. The unit was stocked with everything you can think of - beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and so much more. The unit is exactly as what the photos show, and the property management was very responsive. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place for your Maui stay if you’re looking to save some money from staying at a resort. Thank you to the management team!

Room with a view

Condo was in a nice location with good view of ocean. Condo could have been cleaner (floors and shower grout and vent in shower). We were without a/c for 3+ days due to building outage, so Condo got very hot in afternoons even with doors and drapes closed:(. Well stocked and comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Has all the basics but it’s not as large as the photos would suggest. It was adequate for a couple and maybe a child or two but more adults would be a little tight. The furnishings were nicely done and there was access to beach chairs and more things for water activities. The door code provided minimal security as there was no way to alter it permanently and the suite doesn’t have a safe. There’s a huge lawn out front but no meaningful shade. Beach access is an easy level walk though the beach itself isn’t particularly attractive. The grill and pool area is very clean and nice.On a 5 star scale, I’d rate it 3 -3 1/2.

Good location, good communication, not the cleanest

Overall, a good stay. the location is great, views are pretty, kitchen was well equipped, the property has been nicely updated and has generally a good ambiance. Really appreciated the cooler bag, beach chairs, umbrella etc - wonderful extras! However, while it was generally relatively clean and usable, the property desperately needs a THOROUGH deep clean especially in the bathroom - all the old drip marks on the bathroom walls, a new shower curtain that isn’t moldy on the bottom, proper wipe down of cupboards so handles aren’t sticky with other guests spills etc. Aside from the need for a deep clean, the property also desperately needs a new mattress or at the very least, a mattress topper of sorts as the bed is extremely hard (and we’re used to a relatively firm mattress!) almost like a 2nd box spring! All that being said, we did really enjoy our stay here and the two concerns we had are easily remedied and would make this an even better place to stay 😊

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This worked really well for our family. The king bed was really comfy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Tons of beach toys, chairs, and a wagon made beach days easy. The smart TV was easy to use.We used the hot tub and pool area every night and even used the grill. They clean the grills nightly, they were great. The location was easy to move around. We weren’t a fan of the beach in front of the condo though, it was a little rocky. There was a huge grassy area that was fun to play at.The only downside was that there is no laundry in the unit, but it was still fine. We had an issue the second night (which happened to be Easter Sunday) the team was super responsive and got the issue taken care of as soon as possible. Great hospitality.

Well kept, clean property both inside and out. Beach front. Condo had all amenities needed to cook- toaster, coffee maker, stove/oven with assorted pots and pans, baking pans, microwave, Site had gas grills. Supply of beach cooler and chairs, towels. Right off the elevator & the laundry facilities is right outside the door. The unit does have a view of the ocean in the distance from the lanai but you basically overlook the parking lot below. This makes for traffic noise and people coming & going at all hours of the day & night. We were disappointed with the bath towels & the lack of any hand towels. No batteries in the remote for the bedroom. The shower or toilet leaked water on the floor. I do like the Kahale Makai Resort and would stay there again but not in this unit.

It has a great west facing ocean view and you get to watch the sun set each day. It is well furnished and equipped. The host was very accommodating and responsive when I reached out with questions. My only quibble would be cleanliness. Overall it is pretty clean, but probably due for a deep clean. This did not however hinder our enjoyment.

Honeymoon stay!

For it being a last minute booking, we couldn’t be happier with the place we chose! The property manager was awesome and the view from the balcony was better than expected. If we visit Kihei again we’d definitely consider booking here again!

There were minor issues w.r.t dish washer and the plates, but the property manager resolved them very quickly and promptly. It is only reason I am giving the rating as 4. Otherwise, i would have given 5 to the property.
