Aloha & Welcome to our mid-century modern Maui condo. We invite you to stay and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful Kauhale Makai (Village by The Sea)resort.

We would like to share our vacation home with you!

This condo offers; fully stocked kitchen, new stainless steel appliances, many kitchen accessories, modern style furniture, new floors throughout, and much, much more!

The master bedroom has elegant modern furniture and a king platform bed with a luxurious Serta pillow top mattress.

The living room has a comfortable pull out sofa bed with a queen mattress (full inner spring - not foam or inflatable), and a 55" LED Smart TV and WiFi. The kitchen will meet all your needs, the brand new appliances and accessories are all you require to prepare a basic meal or a fancy feast. This kitchen has it all! This condo offers Central AC to keep you cool , or you may wish to open the large sliding doors in the living room and bedroom to take advantage of the Maui trade winds.

This unit has magnificent views of the ocean. The large lanai overlooks the immaculately maintained grounds, including the heated pool, hot tub and barbecue area.

Kauhale Makai - Village By The Sea is proud to be a Smoke-Free condo/resort.

Check in at the front office and for your parking and registration.

Home away from home

Wonderful location to rest and experience Maui. Could stay within 3 miles or drive an hour 2, either way you’d have something new to try almost daily. Food and a calm area where I could snorkel or hike was what I was going for and this spot was perfect for all. Home is clean, bright, and the perfect size for a couple.

Condo updated, and bed comfy, but slider door to lanai wouldn't open, living room is dark, needs more light, shower slow to drain until we cleaned hair out. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

Awesome condo at great location

We love the clean look of this condo and it’s large enough for couples. The bacony has an amazing view and it’s easy to get around the area. There is enough parking space and the grounds and bbq area are very well maintained. Everything looks very clean and organized.

Great Location

Very centrally located to all parts of the island. The beach isn’t very usable but it makes for a pretty sunset and you can easily drive a few miles down the road to many beautiful snorkeling beaches. Condo was very clean and everything worked great.

Great Stay in Maui!

The communication with the property manager and the check-in process was very easy. The location of the condo is awesome. It is a short walk to the ocean with great views of the bay and the sunsets! The walk to the food truck court near by is well worth the walk! Great coffee and great food.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I loved our stay at this apartment. It was next to the beach with a fantastic view. The furnishing was very modern and things like snorkel equipment and boogie boards were provided. We also appreciated the ease of checking in and out of the apartment. Overall highly recommend and would stay again!

Beautiful Property

I took my parents to Maui for the first time, and this condo was exactly what we needed. It gave us a place to rest and enjoy the gorgeous view after a busy day of exploring the island of Maui. I would highly recommend this condo if you are needing a place to stay for a small group. The view was amazing!

My husband and I had a great time on our vacation! The condo was the perfect size for us. Clean and organized. It had everything we needed for a beach day (chairs, umbrella, cooler). Easy check in and check out process. Quiet area, centrally located.

Decent spot but better options available.

We stayed here over new years when there were not a lot of available properties, so our options were limited. We arrived at the 4 pm check in time (which is incredibly late) and the cleaner was still there. The place is a lot dingier than the photos indicate and I would recommend other accommodations if they are available.

The advertisement was accurate. Very nice location and good dining options nearby. The bathroom needed some updating and improvements. The feral roosters outside usually helped to make sure you didn't sleep too long in the mornings. Ocean can be seen from the balcony and beach is not far away.

Great Condo

Would very much recommend this condo. Pros: Great location Very clean Great decor Great pool area Right on the beach Beach chairs and cooler is a great plus Easy parking Cons: -Pull out couch is not comfortable, feels like springs in your back. - sliding doors to the balcony are very hard to open and shut - no exhaust fan in the bathroom. It's a small bathroom so it heats up fast.

Nice place to stay in Maui, Kihei is central to everything and the property grounds are nice, beach is nice to walk on, although we found the beaches in Kaanapali to be better. The condo was great, but more toilet paper should be supplied. Other than that, it was a great room with a great view!

Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect place to stay in Kihei- the location was great/easy access to get around the island and could not get any close to access to the ocean. Everything was as expected and did not have a reason to reach out to the management (which is the ideal situation!) and I will definitely recommend this locations to anyone going to Kihei in the future.

Great place, especially if you like a really soft bed

The property was very nice for the cost. It was clean, nice setting, generally well stocked with what you need, plenty of space and over good neighbors. The one criticism I will give which may not be one of others is that the bed was very soft which I found made the sleeping experience not ideal for my spouse and I, and actually caused the bed to be hot because it firmed around your body not allowing air to flow as freely. But again, others may enjoy that. Overall, great place and great experience!

Great spot

This rental is updated, unlike other rental options in the area. The unit is stocked with all the amenities that you will need. The grounds are manicured well maintained. The balcony views with a cup of coffee was a great way to start the day. I enjoyed the proximity to the shoreline. While convenient for a quick dip or beach walk, I didn’t find it the best place to swim/snorkel. That’s ok, because there are amazing places a couple minutes down the road (along with great food options). A bit pricey for this rental, but some great value that you get with it.
