Wonderful Stay

The complex was clean and check in/check out process was very easy. Perfect location, we traveled all over the island and agreed Kihei is our favorite area to have stayed in!

Sunsets!!!

Perhaps one of the best sunset viewing places I’ve stayed at on Maui! The grounds were beautiful and Kihei was delightful.

Just a GEM of a spot - close to everything!!

We really were quite impressed with the property! We both were working remotely and loved the desk area in the kitchen, and the island seating for two. The condo is VERY Close to everything! Would definitely recommend the listing!!

Great location and amenities

We were visiting Maui for the second time and knew we wished to be in Kihei. This property provided great access to the beach and the layout of the property itself with the central courtyard was wonderful. Access to the water, Pickleball courts, the pool and just a family friendly atmosphere added to our holiday. We were able to walk to local restaurants from here - 25 min - and had a quick drive to grocery. A great play to stay, especially as a family.

Highly recommend!

We just spent a week at this condo and we loved every minute of our stay! The condo was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The A/C worked great and the condo was well stocked with everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and fun. The location is excellent for exploring the island and is in close proximity to food and gorgeous beaches. The grounds are beautiful and have a resort-like feel. Management was helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We are already looking forward to staying here again!

Great Value

Property was meticulously maintained. The inner property was very clean and beautifully manicured. The pool was great and views of the ocean were on point. No beach was the only drawback but this was known prior to arrival. We would come back.

The property is nice, we have stayed there before. A few things I would invest in for the future would be larger bath towels ( the ones there seem like they are children, very small). The kitchen cookware needs to be updated, for people like us that like to cook, pots and pans were very limited. The bedding needs a larger comforter, pillows were horrible, woke up with a headache every morning from them. Not being rude, just giving you

I was very satisfied with this property. It was very clean and, for me, a good location. I enjoyed the more laid back Kihei. I would consider this location if I return. The owners might consider cleaning the living room carpet and replacing the rug. It is terribly wrinkled and a tripping hazard. With regards.

It was clean, but really needs a little updating (Repair to furniture (loose seam) A fresh coat of paint, TV is small) Everything works just older. Air conditioning is ok but noisy. The bed is against the wall, but comfortable, which was awkward, and the sheets were too loose to stay on the mattress. The bathroom sink/counter is small so hard for 2 people to get ready together.

Apartment needs a refresh.

Very small bathroom . During our stay bathroom’s light went off and it was impossible to replace lightbulb. Beach chairs should be replaced as straps were cut rendering it difficult to transport. However overall clean . A small investment by the owner would make this appartement very nice.

Nevertheless, the TV set is outdated with few to many remote controls. The entry door bottom is rotten, covered with a metal plate. Each time the door gets used it leaves a trace of dirt along with bits and pieces of decayed wood on the floor. The bathroom looks good but is very narrow. Great Location for local dining and late evening events.

Not only were they prompt with responses and clear on arrival/departure directions BUT in the chaos and cancelled flights that came along with our xmas travel this year they made me cry happy tears! OUT OF ALL THE AIRLINES, RENTAL CAR AGENCIES AND HOTELS, VIP PROPERTY MANAGEMENT WAS THE ONLY BUSINESS TO LISTEN TO US, SYMPATHIZE WITH US AND GIVE US FREE NIGHTS WHEN OUR FLIGHTS WERE DELAYED!!! I appreciate so much the care for their customers and will be booking with them for future travel, just because they are them!

Average but expected better

Maui Sunset is in a busy area, if you are looking for a quiet location at this property you may want to rent along beach front side. Our unit was close to main road.Our condo was beautifully decorated but needs some TLC in regards to maintenance and some items should be replaced because of wear and tear. Landscapers were working on lawns for a week and you couldn’t hang around pool because of machine noise and dirt blowing up from thatching machines. Good complex for family’s with kids if you are not concerned with surrounding road noise.

We had such a lovely trip to Maui and loved this condo! It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. Great proximity to the beach, the pool was clean, and we had plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed!

Great Place with some great views

We had an awesome stay! The views from the balcony were incredible, the ocean and West Maui Mountains and even a view of Haleakala from the front door. The sunsets were amazing every night.The house was spacious, clean and the main living area was perfect for hanging out. We also really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, such a nice bonus! Our host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. They had beach chairs and and umbrella as well as an ice chest which was really nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Older property that’s well maintained and a good location for long beach walks, tennis, pickleball, swimming and sunset views. Condo has everything you need for a comfy stay in paradise. Grocery stores and restaurants all close by.
