Aloha and welcome to your beautiful new home-away-from-home with enchanting views of the Ko'olau mountains and Ala Wai golf course.

This 25th floor unit of the Waikiki Banyan is fully furnished with one king size bed, one sofa bed in the living room, dining table with chairs, and two chairs with table on the lanai/balcony.
This corner end unit is slightly larger than others, and is located at the quiet and cooler end of the building with amazing trade wind breezes that provide cool air flow through the unit. Since it is at the end of the hall, it is convenient to utilize the laundry room and trash chute nearby.

The full size kitchen has everything you’ll need to feel right at home: plates, glasses, silverware, full size oven/stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, pots and pans, etc.

Free parking pass and free private wifi are both included for your entire stay!!!

NOTICE: Recreation Deck Constructions Starts April 7 2025
The Waikiki Banyan Recreation Deck Construction project commences April 7 2025. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna, outdoor seating, children’s playground, snack bar/restaurant, and BBQ area will be closed during the project. Some noise is to be expected during work hours.
The project has an estimated finish date of June 30 2026
Our rates have been significantly discounted for the inconvenience of the pool and recreation deck closure.
There is a large sheltered saltwater swimming area 2 blocks away on Waikiki beach for you to enjoy while the pool is closed.

Convenient location to everything.

Very good for our needs. We were able to get handicap parking either on the 3rd or 4th floor. Close to the grocery store, bakery, restaurants, and Catholic church.The kitchen was stocked with basic kitchenware.

Everything Was Wonderful

Condo was even better than expected.Views from Condo are spectacular. Location is excellent for Waikiki beaches and activities. Contact with property managers was more than satisfactory. Would highly recommend this property.

Clean and functional with a nice view

The condo has all the basic necessities and the space is comfortable. The shower is really nice, and we enjoyed the sunrise and mountain views.

Great location, free parking, no resort fee

I chose this condo because it included parking and did not charge a resort fee, as most hotels do in the area. It was spacious, clean, walkable to beach, many restaurants, and ABC stores. Keyless entry was convenient. Access to elevators was fine, except around check out time. We were happy with our stay.

Staycation

Easy to get to wherever you want to go on Oahu this property was perfect for a weekend with my bestie. We loved having the full kitchen so we could eat in and hang out together. Pool area is nice, elevators run well, property is clean and well situated. We loved having the bigger, quiet corner unit and didn’t see or hear anyone on our floor.

A great place in Waikiki

This was a great place to stay. The layout was very good for two people to have their own space. Clean, lots of storage space to unpack, close to everything. Love that the lanai opened off the living room so you could go out without waking someone in the bedroom. Concerns: I do wish the pool deck offered some shade. It could also have used more than one dish towel and the wine glasses were so dusty we had to wash them before use but otherwise it was very clean.

The condo itself is adequate but the kitchen is pathetically equipped. For instance, it would be nice to have more than one lousy plastic drinking cup and maybe a pan or two that looks like it's less than 20 years old and hasn't been adequately washed in months.

Excellent!

We stayed here for over a week. The condo looks exactly as it does in the profile. Great location, a block from the Waikiki beach and tons of shoppping, restaurants etc nearby. The internet was great! We needed that since we had to work for a few days from there. The host was very responsive. If we had to complain, Would have loved if they had a dishwasher and a few more supplies. Really pleasant experience overall!! Would recommend to a friend or family member.

The property was stocked with everything that we needed. The bed slept good, it was nice and clean and the location was just great. Not having to keep up with a key but just the code to get in was even better. We was there for 11 days of just plan old paradise. Meet a lot of nice people. Ate out but also cooked on the grill. We didn't need a car for anything. Everything that we booked, transportation was included. The front desk staff was so helpful and friendly. It was just a perfect place and I hated to leave. Great location and nice view.

Overall great location and nice view of the mountains and Ala Wai Golf Course. The driving range was within walking distance if you like to hit balls. Having a laundry room on the floor was convenient as my stay was close to 3 weeks. The bedroom had a bad odor that I could not air out as only two of the six windows were functional, which I understand was an issue with the entire building. I felt that the kitchen was substandard due to minimal offerings of plates with very old utensils, chipped plates, cups, very old dish rack and ice makers with holes. The microwave took up the kitchen counter space so there was no room to put the cutting board on the countertop or do any meaningful cooking. Having parking was a big plus and the guests I ran into every day were courteous and friendly. The staff on site were helpful and the property management company was extremely responsive to questions and requests.

Not a nice place

Very disappointed in this unit. We have stayed at the Banyan several times before and had a nice time. This unit is super old. The couch is 1950's or older. They say they replaced the mattress which might be true but the furniture is so old and uncomfortable. The kitchen stuff is dated and missing a lot of stuff. Bathroom is nice. Master is ok but the furniture is super dated. The ac makes noise all night....And the biggest drama of all 3-5 times a day emptying the drip pan of water for the AC pumping it into a bucket to dump into the toilit.2-3 full buckets of water. ....If not the lanai will fill with water and you will get a fine. The staff and "agent" was helpful and the resort people are great. Never will stay in this unit.

Disappointed

We enjoyed our stay in Hawaii but we were definitely not impressed with the following: 1. No access to the pool. 2. Some of the kitchen utensils were not clean and food was left on them. 3. The slide of the refrigerator was stained. 4. There was no room to prep meals in the kitchen because of the extra microwave took up space. 5. We had to purchase ice because the ice trays were cracked. 6. The baseboards were dirty. 7. The dining room chairs were soiled. 8. The walls were dirty 9. The window latches were broken. The photos advertised on VRBO misrepresents this unit.

Perfect location, breathtaking views, great service

First time stay in this unit. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect views. Our day starts and ends with the breathtaking view of the mountains including the famous Damond Head. The place is clean and has simple decor which does not distract from the spectacular views surrounding us. It’s even more spectacular at night as the lights cascade down the mountains. A block away from Waikiki Beach. It’s also conveniently located near restaurants and shops. Very safe neighborhood. There was an issue with one of the televisions. I reported it to the property agent, Lauren, who addressed the issue and sent someone within an hour. The gentleman that came to handle the situation was very cordial and professional. I wish I could give them more than a five-star rating just for the prompt and friendly response. We would definitely go back and stay at this unit again. We would also recommend this listing to anyone.

convenient location and good price

Overall great building location - close to Waikiki beach and walkable to food/zoo. Free parking is a plus. Room is spacious with simple yet effective layout. Two potential downside: 1) the pullout sofa needs an upgrade (not enough padding on top); 2) need more beach things (chair, umbrella, more beach towels). We had to buy beach towels and a beach tent.

Property is nice. Window air conditioner located on floor of apartment was not up to the task, poor thing. Bedroom was very stuffy until we bought a fan to blow some cool air in from the living room. Nice view, nice balcony. We enjoyed it, but would look for central air next time.

Clean, accurate, and exactly what we needed!

Cold AC, clean, great views, great hot tub, the kitchen had all the equipment we could need for cooking. My only complaint is the mattress in the pull out was old and not comfy at all. There was barely any padding. My preteen/teen kids didn't complain, but I wouldn't have made it through one night. (The bed in the bedroom was fabulous.) Everything else was perfect, down to the management. We would def stay here again!
